"Kain, recently an aristocrat vampire from the nearby town informed me one of his former humans has escaped. Your to take another aristocrat of your choice, hunt it down, and kill it" Kuran said, Kain's full attention to the pure blood. "Very well Kuran, I'll take Aido, he's skilled enough" Kain said, with a nod Kain turned and walked out of Kuran's study.

Kain looked around for Aido, the elegant vampire was always so close and being so far away from him set Kain on edge, he very much liked his company and figured the hunt would be excellent for some time alone with him. He soon found Aido in the main hall of the night dorm. "Aido, Kuran has requested a mission of me, I've chosen you as my assistance, how soon can you be ready?"

Aido was sitting on the couch in the main hall of the moon dorm as he was looking at his glass with the blood tablet in it as he then saw Kain as he was listening to him , " alright, finally something else than sitting around here. " he said with a chuckle, " what's the mission or can't you tell it right now? , im ready to go now, i was only being bored" he said as he stood up putting his glass down without drinking it.

Kain nodded, "A former got away from it's master, we're going to hunt it, you should finish that, your proper strength would be beneficial" Kain said, really just noticing Aido seemed to be thin, not that the synthetic blood would do much

Aido nods, " this will be easy, they are not so hard to handle" he said clearly underestimate the former. he sighed and looked at the glass, " hm no, im not thirsty in stuff like that right now, and it's not like something as that can do anything but if you stop complaining about it then i will drink it" he said as he grabs the glass and drinks the synthetic blood until the glass was empty and he walked to the door, "are you ready?" he asked

Kain nodded, "Let's go" He said with a smile and turned, beginning to lead Aido. Soon they were walking the streets of the town when Kain paused a moment, "Do you smell blood?"

Aido nods as he followed Kain with a smile, when Kain suddenly stopped he almost fall as he nods, "yeah i smell blood nearby, fresh blood" he said as he looked around

Kain nods, "It's this way, come on" He said walking into an alley

Aido followed Kain as they then found the former standing there with a little girl as he was drinking her blood. Aido was almost paralyzed at seeing how someone could harm such a youth.

The former was nearly finished and easily tossed the girl aside, turning it grinned wickedly seeing them, "Get ready Aido" Kain said, having not noticed his shock, the former lunged at Kain who was in front of Aido, he sidestepped easily and expected Aido to as well, however the former collided with him and they landed on the ground together. The former instantly began slashing at Aido's torso with his hands, the vampiric strength making each swipe easily carve through him, Kain saw and his stomach dropped, as quickly as he could he was next to them and punched the former as hard as he could, easily sending it flying into the alley wall, by the time it's senses were gathered he'd already stabbed his own hand through it's neck. A second passed and the former suddenly burst into ash, Kain was then at Aido's side, "Oh fuck, oh no" Kain said, his eyes wide in his own fear of seeing Aido hurt so badly

Aido was too shocked as he still looked at the girl, he came finally out of shock when the former was collided with him as he was laying on the ground, he winced in pain as he yelled a bit trying to get the former off him but then Kain hit him hard into the alley wall, as aido looked at it.
Aido looked at Kain and chuckled lightly like it was a joke but it was not, " ... you need to see your own eyes.. don't worry i think it will heal soon.... what was important is that we completed the task that Kaname-sama gave you... it was my own fault for not paying attention and getting in shock ..." he said softly to Kain as he winced more in pain as some of the carves are deep while his torso was covered a bit in his blood, what was dangerous in a place like that because if there are more formers and when they smell the fresh blood then it would be for sure that they will come.
