Jim giggled and nodded and rushed off to find somewhere to hide. He went in Chris' bedroom and slid under the bed.

Sarek softly sighed and gently ran a finger along his small, pointed ears. "I was worried, naturally. You are my son Spock, if anything happened to you, I do not know how I would feel...but I know nothing would feel the same again."

"I am happy to be your son...any other father would have left me to die when was born so human...."Spock said softly. He remembered when he was born in that cave years ago, how Sarek looked at him when he came out crying like a human baby.

Sarek held Spock close and rubbed his back, "I would never do that, Spock. You are my child." he told him and sighed softly, "Vulcans should be more accepting of humans."
