GAME JAM 2023: A New Welcome to Puttsdale Text Adventure!

You blink your eyes against the hard glare of the phone screen and scroll through the messages from Selma in order.

8:28am - I MESSED UP!

8:28am - This is selma btw and im sorry to text so early but i need help and had to think fast

8:29am - basically im supposed to help my sister win a bet today by pulling a Big Switch but now i CANT because my parents spanked me and now im in cornertime

8:29am - U GOTTA HELP ME!

You grunt, throwing the covers off. It's barely 8:30, and you have a headache. Figuring that a cup of coffee will help, you go to kitchen and start a fresh pot.

You can already tell it's gonna be one of those days.

As you're waiting for the water to boil, you fire back: Hang on. Big switch? Start from the beginning.

This is completed game is a part of a much larger Spanking-Themed Text Adventure some of you already know called "Welcome to Puttsdale" - it's about a small American town where spanking is a fact of daily life. When I learned that the 2023 Game Jam topic was going to be "mistaken identity," I couldn't help but write a new story featuring the Gemini twins, Selma and Louisa!

Not a big fun of text-based games but this is just awesome in every way!

Some of my favorite games are the ones that leave me wanting more. If a game is good, then I want to see more of the same characters in new storylines, and that's certainly the case here. I'm envisioning other scenarios where the twins might pull a "Big Switch" that involves spanking.

 

I liked the concept of having to match the shade or red using a hairbrush in order to successfully fool Mrs. Gemini.

I do wish that the dominance, submission, and relationship stats had more of an impact on the story, but I understand that the length probably doesn't make that easy.

I haven't really gotten into the Puttsdale universe because I don't like pure text games, but this was good enough to make me want to try out your other Puttsdale games.

I'm looking with serious interest at the Spanking Image Generator you made. While I'm no good at drawing, I love when games have illustrations -- maybe that can be a way to add to my text adventures to make them better for visual people

The DOMINANCE, SUBMISSIVENESS, and RELATIONSHIP stats are going to have an impact on the full "Welcome to Puttsdale" game when I add this story in. If you liked this, you should definitely check out the full game, because there's more Selma/Louisa content to be found -- visit the church on the first Sunday morning

And there's also a fun Selma/Gemini story in the most recent Spanking Tales of Puttsdale book, which you can get for free on Kindle Unlimited. In fact, Louisa is spanking Selma on the cover art, which was drawn by sorenutz.
