Lana and Julian enjoyed the after glow of their love making before heading to Julians bed. Not expecting this encounter (well, half expecting) Julian gave Lana a shirt to wear to bed.

Lana undressed in the bathroom, folding her skirts and blouse she looked at herself in the small bathroom mirror. She felt different. She wondered if being loved changed a person. She did the usually female primping, wipe away her make up, and took down her hair. Lana removed her bra (it wasnt good to sleep in one) and pulled Julians shirt on before padding into his bedroom.

Julian smiled when he saw Lana appear before him, in his own shirt in his own bedroom. He has never known anything like this; it was the sort of thing you'd read about in romantic fiction a d dismiss as impossible. Yet it happened to them.

Julian welcomed Lana into the bed. He loved everything about her, he thought. The way she felt, the way she moved. They had tossed restraint to the wind, and he liked it.

"I love you," Lana, he said softly.

Lana slid into bed beside him and kissed him on the mouth. She felt so comfortble around him, safe, wanted. So why didn't she say it back?

Lana curled up and lay her head on Julian's chest. "That was amazing." Probably not what he was hoping for she thought.

She ran her hands over his chest.

Julian inhaled deeply from Lana's curls, and sighed contently.

"It sure was," he said. He wondered if Lana was as tired as he was - and besides, he still technically had work in the morning. But he could always be late, he thought. He felt Lana's hands brush across his chest, and it felt good.

He wondered in a vague sort of way why Lana still hadn't said I love you. People are different, he thought. After all, he was pretty sure she did love him, no matter what she didn't say. Still... He closed his eyes and relaxed fully.

Lana woke up early and slipped out into the kitchen purusing the cabinets for coffee and cups. She couldn't find any and wondered if maybe he was a tea drinker. She wanted to at least leave something before she slipped out to head home. Was wasn't particulaly looking forward to sneaking back to her apartment in a mans shirt and pencil skirt, but was more than happy last night had happened.

Grabbing her purse and phone Lana slipped on her heels then an idea struck her. Applying her lipstick she kissed the notepad on his coffee table. Smiling to herself, she slipped out to her car to drive home.
