Tara Camble was a patient woman, but she absolutely HATED her job. or more likely, her boss. it was an effort to drag herself out of bed every day to go to the office to have to deal with the man.

But she was a lot of things, and Quitter wasn't one of them.

Valeriano Domizio Leone, a 35 year-old Italian Businessman, was slowly pacing through the office, observing and glaring at his employees.
He had the constant impression that they were slacking instead of working (which was not true).
Everyone hated him and feared him, for he had an horrible attitude and serious mood swings that could cause the firing of someone.
It almost seemed that he loved putting pressure on them; actually, he didn't even realize that he was behaving in such horrible way.

He went into his private office and sat at his mohogany desk, checking some documents.
"Miss Camble I don't see my coffee on my desk this morning." He sneered at her. "Can you tell me why?"

As much as Tara wanted to give some sarcastic reply, lord knew she could get another job. she bit her toung "Sorry Sir. I'll get it right now." She said. and went to the coffee machine.

While Tara went to get the coffee, one of her colleagues, Mike, went towards her smiling in his white coat. He was one of the few scientists working for the company; he seemed to be rather happy today.
"Goodmorning, Tara!" He hummed while taking a coffee as well. "Why the long face? The boss is giving you an hard time as usual,mm?"

"You could say that. Your a Scientist. Maybe you can tell me why he always seems to have a stick up his ass?" Tara said as the coffee machine worked.

Mike laughed, and shook his head. "That's a scientific mystery, my friend. Anyway...I just worked on a new product of our company." He took out of his pocket a little phial with a blue liquid inside. "I was thinking about prove it on a human...and...why not the boss? Don't worry it's not dangerous, but let's say it will give him some well-deserved hard time." He chuckled. "We could put it in his coffee."

"Somehow I get the feeling doing that would be illegal." Tara said with a smile, but shook her head. "Sorry. I hate the guy, but I'm not going to spike his drink because of that." She said.

Tara smiled as she took the coffee cup to her boss's desk "Sorry for the delay sir." She said. keeping her professional demeaner, but secretly wishing she wasn't so moral as to avoid spikeing his drink.

Valeriano was signing some documents; then he stopped and crossed his hands together. "Sit down Miss Camble." He waited for her to sit down, then continued. "I'm sorry to say that in this last period you...disappointed me. You are late on work most of the times, you prefer to chat with your colleagues and you are inefficient." He gave her a sheet of paper. "I need a much more professional secretary,so...you're fired. Please sign this and you can go."
