BRC case 203A-2 (for Pippy-kun)

Ava was an 9 year old red head girl convicted of shoplifting and trespassing, at the end of her trial she was given a choice spend 2 years in juvenile hall or 2 years at the BRC islands. The choice she made was simple she would choose the one that didnt involve a mark on the records.
The train to the BRC islands which was the only link to the BRC islands. BRC was due to an uptick and increase of juvenile crime. The system was designed as an alternate or choice for those who have committed minor crimes. A way out of the justice system was more than what Ava wanted and needed she wanted to leave her old life behind. She was a ward of the state because her parents died in a car crash when she was just a baby, none of her relatives wanted her and was cast out.
On the train to BRC was a long one it was an hour and an half Ava saw a carelessly placed wallet dropped on the floor of the train and she quickly picked it up and emptied the contents and the wallet into her hoodie pocket.

A man with deep blue eyes and black hair was already on the train with her, Though probably not noticed as he blended in with most of the other people there on the train but he gave a sigh when he saw her last action.

A simple double check of his phone. With out a dought. His Ava.
His name was Marco it was obvious by his lanyard with his name and picture along with work number on it. His simple work clothing made him look comfortable but blend in. Though his book stated to watch this unfold. See if she would back her self into a corner about it or come clean. So he gave her a few minutes to make sure she thought she got on scott free before standing up and and walking over to sit in the empty seat next to her.

"Good Morning Little one~ You must be Ava, correct?" His voice was rather low to begin with it pretty much matched his height of hitting six feet straight up. "My Name is Marco. I'm You're new Guardian."

“Hello Marco how you doing? I am Ava pleasure to meet you.” She thought she saw him enter the room as she was pocketing the wallet so decided that although she wanted the money inside she better play it safe. She read the rules and the consequences for misbehaving and did not want any part of that. Let's see what he needs in order to believe me “Hmmmm well I found a wallet on the ground so you possibly know where I can take it so that it can be given back to the proper hands?” secretly pocketing a few bills.

Marco gave glance at the wallet in her hands and opened it up. "Hmm I think This ID is easy to find the person.... But It's not normal for someone to go with out cash...." He got a bit of a raised brow giving her one small look. More of a last chance to fess up more then anything. For petes sake he had the implement he needed in his pouch on his hip if he really was concerned.

"Is this really how you found it?" His voice wasn't as perky as before but it was still friendly. almost more of a parental tone, A given since he was in his early thirties.

"No it was not" sounding slightly guilty and pulls out all of the cash which was 5 20 dollar bills and 3 1 dollar bills and a few coins, and handing them all over, over keeping the last one to herself. "I'm pretty sure i saw that the train ticket was 17 dollars or so the math does add up. "Sorry I forgot about those twenties. You scared me when you suddenly knew my name. It said that you would meet me at the train station or above. " knowing the consequence and what would happen if she tried to get her way out of it as she had just read the rules and consequences of the islands cause they were just given on the train. "As for the idea of ummmm smacking my bottom can you just ummmmm forget that this never happened. You got all of the money back and I didnt take any i gave it all back." Looking at Marco's surprised face she replied "Yes I did the rules what did you expect? Besides you cant excel at something unless you know the rules."

"Alright." Marco said picking up Ava with ease in one arm like a small child before gently walking them down the to the other side of the train. "Simple enough since you said this was all you'll have no problem in returning it like a good a good little one and apologizing properly for not returning it as soon as possible."

As soon as he reached the other side of the train he gently put Ava down on her feet in front of the person who matched the id of the wallet. "Well Little I think You have something to say?"

"Well I am sorry that I went through your wallet and tried to steal a few bills from you. I swear I put them all back. I should have picked it up and given it back to you after I saw you drop it but I was thinking too much about myself." Ava said blushing and looking at her feet not looking at the woman who she almost stole from.

The woman gave a small stare at the girl before serching though her bag to double check then sliding the wallet in. "Good Girl thank you for coming over here with your mentor. and bringing me back what was lost."

Marco gave Ava a gentle pat on the head. Normally he would have punished her in public but she did come clean and she was able to properly confess to it. "Very good Little one." he picked her up again with ease and hugged her giving her a small gentle pat on the back. "You did very good." He did figure it best to save the welcome home spanking for the house. Plus this was probably her first time having a parental figure in her life so he figured he'd make her feel loved at the moment.

Ava looked unsure to on what to do when she was hugged but promptly returned the hug. "I have never had anyone do that to me before and i actually felt loved. In the "foster homes" I had people who told me they loved me and hugged me and "said that they loved me but that all was bull dung, When you did that it was the first time i actually felt loved and that someone cared for me."

Marco already could tell by her apprehensive nature that she was not used to this kinda treatment. but that didn't bother him, He figured she'd grow more used to his kind of thing before hand.

"Easy now little one don't worry you're safe...." he said softly Patting her back sitting back on the train seat letting her relax till they came to their stop. "Anything you wanna ask you're welcome to go ahead and ask me if you'd like. figuring he'd let her cling if she wanted to or allow her to sit in his lap to make room for other people.
