The appearance of a sudden blade didn’t even phase Samus as she raised both hands in defense. Her eyes narrowed back at Impa. “Be moved, it is.” She sighed. The Princess would have to wait for later… focusing her gaze on the bodyguard, the two stayed at an impasse for the first few seconds, both waiting for the other’s first move… and Samus took her first attack, charging forward with her head turned down as she came in for what looked like a ramming attack!

But it was just a facade - because right as she approached Impa, Samus would fall down onto her knees and tuck forward, bringing her legs to her chest and making a massive bowling ball out of herself to trip Impa over instead.

Zelda looked on in shock at the sudden commotion as the two women squared off in the courtyard, she was sure Impa could take this intruder but prepared for and attack just in case.

Impa readied herself as Samus went in for a tackle, only to wince as she fell face first onto the hard ground.

The fighting duo rolled over one another until coming to a halt with Samus on top, the huntress not thinking twice before she reared back her head and slammed her forehead into Impa’s with a painful ‘SLAM!’ “Ugh!” Samus grunted as she pulled back, one hand on Impa’s collar and another on her head. She came to her senses before the Sheikah, though, and already her hand was winded back in a balled fist. “Grrr…”

Before she could let it fly, though, a sound of movement to her right distracted her. “Hm?” Samus paused, looking to Zelda in unrealized vulnerability - if only for a second

Impa gasped as she was tackled and pinned to he ground, whimpering as she fell onto the hard ground. As her attacked seemed to be temporarily distracted, she reached down in order to try and grab a hidden knife but she couldn't reach in.

Zelda slowly approached to the girl's fighting, charging up her dins fire as a warning. "Leave, right this second." She demanded as she glared at the blonde intruder.

Samus’ eyes flicked between Zelda and Impa, her hand flying down to catch her wrist before she could snatch her weapon. That still left a magically charged teenager fast approaching and little time to react to her… Samus gulped, trying to decide what her best option was here. It came to her.

Locking her leg beneath and around Impa’s, Samus rolled over with her, planting her other foot on the ground to transition both of them neatly to a standing position; except now with Samus’ arm wrapped tightly around Impa’s throat, keeping her locked nicely in place and daring Zelda to try and use her magic through her human barrier.

Impa gasped and gagged slightly as she was held firmly in the neck hold, trying to power her way out or get in a position to throw her off but it was useless. Zelda glared at the blonde, holding her fire filled hands out at them but hesitated a bit as she bit her lip.

A moment of silence pierced the air, Samus glaring back at Zelda with Impa caught in her chokehold. But she knew she couldn't keep the sheikah restrained much longer; she was far too powerful for that. So she needed a new plan. Thinking fast, Samus broke her hold and shoved Impa forward, using the distraction to fall to the side and tuck into a roll until she sprung back up, right in front of the Princess, seizing both her wrists before any magic could channel from them; problem is, now she had to capitalize on that... before Impa came back for her.

Impa let out a gasp as she was tossed aside like trash, taking a moment to try and catch her breath. If Samus doesn't do something about her soon, she'll be in for a bad time. Zelda squeaked as her wrists were firmly grabbed, trying her hardest to pull away. "Let go, you barbarian!"

Barbarian she was, perhaps, but that didn’t stop Samus from acting quickly as she shifted both of Zelda’s wrists under one meaty hand, using her other to equip her laser pistol and stretch out a whip made of pure energy. A single pull over Zelda’s arms, and she bound the Princess’s wrists right to one another, her keen ears keeping track of the fast approaching footsteps coming up from behind her. “No.” Samus merely replied back, releasing Zelda’s trapped arms and sinking her foot straight into the Princess’s gut to knock her down onto the floor.

Just as quickly, she spun back around, a hand up and just by shere luck catching Impa’s fist out of mid-air as it flung right toward her. Both paused as Samus held her there, their eyes locking as a challenge was issued between the both of them. “Ooh…” Samus muttered. “I like you.” Beginning the real battle, she swung Impa’s arm around, twisting her shoulder and bringing it upwards to begin walking her back.

Zelda gasped as she felt her wrists being restrained by the laser whip and quickly tried to free herself but yelpas she was promptly kicked and knocked to the floor. Impa's eyes grew wide at this as she attempted her assault, her shock growing as her fist was stopped and she was pulled along like a child despite her visible protests.
