Adelaine was now fully enveloped in her emotions and pain as the spanks continued to fall down just as hard and relentlessly. There was no give as the horrible hand smartened her tush and made it grow redder and redder. “AHHH!!! I’LL NEVER PAINT WILDLY AGAIN!!! WAHHH!!!”

That's enough. After three more hard, driven swats to Adeleine's tush, Samus sighed, but dropped, bending down to one knee and slowly lifting Adeleine off of her shoulder. She slid the painter girl over, sitting her on her leg though careful to not press her sore bottom against her as she looked up. Samus' eyes were tired, but she forced the best attempt at a smile she had to give the girl some comfort.

"Alright, that's it..." She sighed. "Cry it out..."

Adeleine didn’t even realize her punishment was over until after a few minutes of sitting on Samus’ knee, even then she had her doubts. Her face was completely ruin with tears and redness, her hat was missing and her clothes were a complete mess as she bawled her eyes out.

Samus’ foot tapped a bit awkwardly while she waited. What exactly was she meant to do here? She got along great with animals, but kids were… um, a different story.

“C’mon… c’mon…” She muttered impatiently, bouncing her knee in place. “It’s all over. I’m not mad anymore… not about you, anyway.”

The childish bouncing didnt seem to do much to calm the painter down, making her cry even louder it seems. After a second, she threw herself at the bounty hunter in a tight hug. She really let it all out as she hugged her tight.

Samus’ eye were rather distracted, drifting off into the fields of Popstar thinking about how compromising a postion she was currently in to be fighting anyone… so it was to her surprise when two, tiny little arms wrapped around her torso.

“Eh?” Samus reeled back, at first on the defensive. But upon realizing what Adeleine was up to… she sighed, shaking her head and giving the small artist a pat on the back. “Alright, kid, alright…” She muttered. “Let it out.”

After a few moments passed to let her get all her tears out, Samus leaned Ado back. “Feel better?”

After a long few minutes, Adelaine was reduced to sniffles as she cried into the blonde woman's shoulder. Her tears stained Samus' suit as she eventually pulled away from the hug before nodded sadly.
