"Then stop acting like one and stop trying to get out of taking responsibility. If I say that Katie is allowed allowed to punish you then she is. Understand?" She said hoping that Alan would accept this. Him doing all this with proving that he was indeed acting like a child and not a trainer.

"No no I understand. No problems." She said to her mother trying to avoid getting another swat to her butt.

“Fine whatever! Just let go!” Alan wiggled in her grip. He was always a prideful person, even though the family next to him knows he often gets spanked he’s extremely embarrassed to be ‘belittled’ in front of them

“Good, take care of him and teach him a thing or two.” Her mom told her, giving her a kiss on the cheek now. “Be good and call me when you get a chance!”

Alan's mother indeed let him go as she watches the boy rubbing his backside groaning from the swat to the seat of his pants.

Katie groaned feeling the kiss to her cheek blushing just as hard as Alan probably is at this point. Nonetheless, without anything else stopping the two they then begin to leave Littleroot Town and head towards 101

Alan said his goodbyes with an embarrassed waved, not one that likes showing affection in public, especially in front of his friend. The two made their way towards route 101 and began their journey. After a few hours of nonstop walking, they decided to take a break and Alan pulled out his map. “So, what city is this gym at again?”

"It's in Petalburg City." Katie answered him take a seat on a down log. She was mostly interested in looking for new Pokémon to catch so she would be able to compete in contests with more than just one Pokemon. "Are you sure you should battle with just one Pokemon?" She asked him.

“If I find one that I think I should catch, I will. But I’m confident me and Farfetch’d here can do anything that we put our minds to.” Alan said, looking at his partner who nodded with a smile back at him

"Well I wouldn't say that is the way you should think about things but if that's what you want to do then I'll leave you with that." Katie said as she then goes back to looking for Pokémon when she notices the grass rustling. "I found something. Let's go Pikachu." Katie said as she then charges towards whatever it was she spotted in the grass.

Alan brushed her comments off and looked back at his partner with determination. “She wrong about us, buddy. She’s just upset that she got stuck with a girly Pikachu.” He told him confidently as Farfetch’d now looked a bit confused

Meanwhile, Katie and Pikachu were rushing through the grass to find the Pokémon. After clearing through an opening they stopped and found a Pokémon though probably not the one they were chasing. They found Poochyena who seemed less than pleased to see a human and started growling at them. "N-n-nice puppy...?" She tried to say before immediately running off back towards Alan with Pikachu alongside her. However, the dark type was chasing after them.

Alan was setting up his tent with Farfetch’d gathering supplies for a fire nearby by cutting down branches and gathering wood for a fire. When he heard the screams, Alan immediately jumped up and looked in her direction. “What’s wrong now?”
