Cats on the Prowl (for Robin Hunter)

"Its not too mature for me...", Holly protested with a slight pout. "I know you have to work. But I´d love to have a bit of fun with you first. And in case you ever need any help with anything... just ask me and it is as good as done.", the girl explained and had to smile a little when Selina poked her nose.

[Robin Hunter]

"You're idea of what's age appropriate is quite skewed kitten." Selina said opening her laptop, she was going to a little work before the food arrived. "I'm not sure what you could do Holly. If I think something I'll tell you though. In the meantime, did you read those books I brought you. We agree you wouldn't have to school only if you kept up your studies with what I provided. "

Holly chewed her lip a little. "I tried. Didn´t get very far, though.", the girl admitted honestly. "Its not easy. I haven´t been to school for such a long time. I have a lot of catching up to do...", she said and tried to get a peek at what Selina was working on looking over her shoulder.

Selina sighed a little. She knew Holly was trying. "That's fine we'll discuss it later, just try and stick get through it next time and ask me questions later." Selina said tapping away at her keyboard. A moment later her mind was brought back from her work but her little girl making a curious face over her shoulder. "I'm trying to see what upcoming museum exhibits are coming to Gotham. Though I can tell you're not at all interested." Selina said with a grin.

"Okay...", Holly said in a low voice. She didn´t like studying. It was so very stressful. The girl looked at the page Selina had opened on her laptop. There were imagines of some beautiful 9th century viking brooches. "Cool,", the teen stated,"but not at all what we are looking for. You stick with the cat theme, right? Why exactly?" Holly stopped looking over Selinas shoulder and took a step backwards, interlocking her hands behind hear head thinking.

Selina heard the edge to Holly's voice after she finished chiding her about her studies. She knew how hard it could be knowing how long Holly had been on the street. "I do prefer cat themed heists, but sometimes I have to let my own tastes fall by the wayside, just to get rent and such. Well that and donating to my animal charities. " She explained looking over her shoulder. "I'm considering attending a Gala soon and following one of those snobs home, getting some housewife's jewels."

"Thats an awesome plan.", Holly said, chuckling with almost fiendish delight. She then wrapped her arms around Selina gently. "Finish work okay, and I´ll already put in the DvD.", she suggested and then let go. "Which film do you want to see?", the teen asked.

[Robin Hunter]

"Thanks kitten, maybe one day I'll take you with to one. I love making those prudes gasp." Selina said returning the hug. She closed her laptop and set it aside. "Alright, Alright. go ahead." Selina said stretching her still arms. "You chose kiddo. I'm just along with the right, just nothing R-rated tonight. We've both seen enough filth this evening." She muttered darkly under he breath.

"That day can´t come soon enough.", Holly said eagerly. She wanted to see some action, too. Even if it was just a high society ball. It was too awesome to have been adopted by Catwoman sometimes. In her old life she would never have come even close to one of the balls. "A comedy then maybe? Shakespeare in Love is pretty good, alltough I have seen that one a thousand times.", the girl offered.

"For you maybe. I know I'm going to have to keep the boys and the girls away from you kitten. Those upper-crust types get handsy real quickly." Selina said thinking of some not so fond memories. "That's fine, and I know you've made sit through five-hundred of those thousand Holly." Selina said fondly. She heard the doorbell chime and went to get the food.

(I literally just saw that movie for the first time a few months ago)
