"Yeah, well, you know how it is." Spencer continued to chatter away oblivious, until he felt the others hand on his wrist and swallowed. "Something you need me for?" He squeaked as he blushed to the tips of his ears. Max's skin was warm against his own, and they were close enough to... well he put that idea out of his head.
"Wh-what's up Max?" He pushed up his glasses, green eyes moving up to meet brown as a mixture of trepidation and arousal swirled in his stomach. The other could make him nervous, but he'd never be truly afraid of him.
Will rolled his eyes, at least Isaac had recovered quickly. "Oh don't worry, we're going to have a 'talk' about your foiling later." He said with an emphasis on the word talk. "Reading huh? That's cool, I read a little myself." They were mostly martial arts books and biographies, but it was real reading. "No pictures or anything," he added with a grin.
He spared a glance over at the other while he considered his own hobbies. "I work out," he said and flexed his big arms on the steering wheel. "I like to watch movies when I have free time. Sometimes I take walks." With a shrug of his shoulders and another predatory grin, the man pinned his passenger with a heated look. "Among other things."

Max held the other man's gaze for a moment or two, finding that despite being the one who had grabbed the other's wrist, his own heart hammered inside his broad chest. He gulped, the certainty of his actions were thrown into question. Was what he had been considering doing to Spencer ridiculous? Out of order even?
The young man had pouted and sulked in such a childish way that he couldn't help but think that there was another option to dealing with his behaviour, beyond just a simple scolding.
He forced himself not to back down from his line of thought, Spencer had earned this. Not telling himself and Will had been irresponsible enough, but on top of that he'd had the audacity to take such a major and potentially dangerous step by himself in the first place. Spencer had been developing a habit of doing that for a while.
He was goodhearted and would always try to do what he thought was right. That was admirable, but it could be reckless as well.
"You shouldn't put yourself out on the front lines like that, Spencer. You know that I worry about you. I've spoken to you about it before."
Isaac's brow furrowed slightly at the way Will said the word 'talk'. It sounded rather like a euphemism, but for what exactly it was hard to place.
His eyes drifted over Will's tanned skin, watching the muscles of his arms flex as he spoke. Of course he worked out. The evidence of that hobby was very clearly displayed in his powerful physique. Being of a diminutive stature himself, Isaac had never been interested in working out, but he wouldn't mind watching Will do so. The mental images that he conjured up of him doing so were rather pleasant.
When Will grinned at him, he felt his face heat up again and he felt like a fool for being caught staring at the other's muscular arms as he had been speaking.
"I see," he replied simply, before looking out of the window hastily, trying not to make it too obvious that it was hard for him not to stare at him. "We're nearly there. We could get out and walk from here, it will only take a minute or two."

Green eyes looked away when the other started to lecture him and he toed the ground with a scowl. "It's not like I mean to do it." He said petulantly, it was the truth. He rarely thought these kind of decisions through, whether that be facing off with a team of angry Supers or negotiating a contract with one of the most dangerous minds of their generation, it was well known around the office that Spencer would put himself on the line for the 'greater good'.
"They just asked and I volunteered, I didn't think it was going to be such a big deal." His voice was gruff and almost a whine. "I know you care," even though he didn't appreciate the way Max was lecturing him, he couldn't help but smile a little when the other mentioned caring for him.
Will pulled into a gravel parking lot and simply looked at the other for a moment. "We can send for any of the bigger things you need." He offered after a thought. It was true that he wasn't going to budge on his decision, and he believed what he'd said before about wanting to keep the other close, but he wasn't going to be a total asshole about the whole thing.
Getting out of the car he came around to open Isaac's door for the other. "You don't think the creepy house set back in the woods is a little cliche?" He asked with a smirk as he waited for Isaac to start leading the way. He whistled in appreciation however. "Maybe we should be moving in with you!"

Spencer petulant tone made Max sigh. The young man had a good head on his shoulders. He was intelligent and talented, as was obvious from the fact that he was the youngest person to hold his post. However, sometimes his youth came through and this was one of those times.
"It's because I care that I'm not just going to sit back and watch you keep putting yourself in danger." He told him, his voice firm but not angry. His dark eyes met Spencer's lighter ones and he steeled himself to go through with what he had planned would be an appropriate consequence for the young Liaison of Superhuman Affairs. "Come with me. I won't be long, and then you can get to your work." He began to walk with Spencer in tow, taking him to one of the private offices in the vicinity. It wouldn't be occupied until the newest manager took up their post, so it was available, and not many others had come into work yet. It was quite private.
Max let him go so he could lock the door and shut the office blinds. He then looked around the compact office for somewhere suitable to sit. The chair at the desk had arms, so that would be awkward. Instead he moved one of the boxes filled with office supplies into the centre of the room and sat on that. "Come here." He instructed, his finger gesturing for Spencer to approach him. Inside, he felt his heart beat a little more quickly than was usual for him but on the outside he managed to appear quite calm and in control.
Isaac couldn't help but chuckle a little at Will's comment. It was true that it was cliche, but he liked it. Perhaps because he had always found a sort of charm in stories where there was a dark overlord hidden away in a secluded, gloomy spot.
"I don't think that your partner would be of the same opinion. I might be wrong, but he seems like the type of person who would scoff and call me a snob for living in such a place." Isaac replied, although he appreciated the compliments to his former abode.
He took out a ring of keys from his pocket and unlocked the front door, walking in and signalling for Will to find him. He wouldn't be able to take nearly everything that he wanted, but he could at least bring some of his books. It was true that he could remember all their contents and so re-reading them served no practical purpose, but they had an emotional appeal to him.
"Do you want a tour?' He asked, figuring that if they weren't in a rush then he wouldn't mind showing off a bit. Besides, he might not ever get to return here, and it would be nice to say goodbye to the place.

"What do you mean?" Spencer asked nervously, testing the others grip and finding it to be immovable. "M-Max? What are you going to do?" He licked his lips, setting down the all important briefcase as the blonde man started to pull the shades and dragged a box to the center of the empty, locked, office. He swallowed audibly, when the lock clicked into place, hoping that the other wouldn't notice that simply being alone in a locked room with him made the green eyed young man half-hard.
"W-why?" he stuttered out even as he came to stand in front of the other, his hands clasped together in front of himself as he blushed to the tips of his ears once more. They were more evenly matched with Max sitting down, but even Spencer wasn't too naive to figure out what he might be thinking of doing. "I-it wasn't that bad," he whined simply, hands moving behind himself now. "I-I'll be more careful Max."
Will had to laugh at that. "Yeah well, it's nice but it's not really our style." He smiled down at the other, gently putting his hand on Isaac's lower back in a non-threatening way. "Alright hot stuff," he teased as they stepped inside the lovely, if archaic, mansion.
"I think we have time for a little tour," he agreed readily, the longer they spent out the less likely they'd run into Max giving Spencer a long boring lecture, and the more time he had to test the waters with the lovely young genius. "Think you'll keep the place, even if you're not staying here?" The blue eyed man wasn't necessarily curious, but the less long silences between them, the more at ease Isaac might begin to feel.

Max would have had to be blind not to see the blush that spread over Spencer's face, the younger man's rather angelically sweet face was turned endearingly pink. Really, it was hard for Max to not just stand up and hug him, but he had to remain firm.
"You're a bright boy, I think you already know what I'm going to do." The lionlike man told him, his voice rather soft as he spoke. His hand reached out and took hold of one of the other's smaller ones, gently pulling him forwards, although he wanted Spencer to submit himself rather than just force him over his lap. He was always a little cautious around those who didn't have any supernatural powers, since he knew that it was easy to forget and end up hurting them by accident. Especially someone like Spencer who wasn't especially strong, even for a regular human. "And it's not just for today that I'm doing this. You know that you have a habit of doing things like this, putting yourself in danger. I want to make sure that you think twice about doing so again."
Isaac bit his bottom lip lightly as he felt Will's hand rest on the curve of his lower back. Will was more forward than most, and he wondered if he was always like this. Did he try his luck with whatever person he had a fancy for? Or was it something about him particularly that compelled the other man to be so daring? Either way, although it made Isaac feel rather hopelessly flustered, he didn't mind it a bit. It rather stroked his ego, being so obviously wanted by someone so handsome.
"I'm not sure to be honest," The former villain confessed as he walked further into the house, through into the lounge, "I have no practical reason to keep it, I suppose, but it would be unfortunate to sell it as well."
He showed Will the lounge and his study, finding some amusement in the fact that he was being so familiar with someone who had so recently in the past been his enemy. If he had found Will in his house even a couple of days ago, he would have probably had his guards capture or shoot him. How quickly things changed.
Eventually, they ended up on the upper floor, and Isaac opened the door to a richly decorated, deep red room with a fourposter bed and large window that looked out into a rather scenic clearing in the woods. "This was my bedroom."

Spencer swallowed hard again as he was drawn up close to the other, close enough to kiss, to touch his face, and it was doing things to his head, as well as below the belt. Green eyes looked into brown and he felt just the beginnings of tears in his eyes. He could say no, he could really object and the small man knew in his heart that Max would stop and even though he tear himself up inside with guilt, they'd eventually be friendly again.
That was why it was okay, he blinked against the sudden urge to cry and drew in a deep breath. He knew that the large man would never force him and would always do what was best for him, even if he didn't want it. With another deep breath he nodded, putting one hand on the others thigh Spencer laid himself over those strong, incredibly warm, thighs and fidgeted a little, embarrassed to find that his erection hadn't lagged in the slightest. "And then you'll forgive me right?" He murmured more to the floor than to his friend.
The longer they were in the house, the more Will regretted that they weren't moving in with Isaac. Sure he didn't go in for the richly decorated and well appointed in his home, but that didn't mean he couldn't appreciate it. Isaac obviously liked nice things, and for all that he had once been willing to wreck other peoples homes, he cared for his own with a fastidiousness that the dark haired man found infinitely appealing.
He kept his hand on the other, since the grey eyed young man didn't seem to mind, letting him move away a little and sometimes drawing him in close. The point of contact was distracting, and it felt like far too little when compared to what he truly wanted. Will was a dominant man, he always had been, and thanks to his size and strength most of the time he was the Alpha male in any room he walked into.
The few other times he'd run into the smaller man had been brief, but always left him with the intense desire to dominate the other. Isaac was too smart to be a villain, and barring a few occasions didn't actually seem to want to cause anyone real harm. It was intriguing and it made the blue eyed man wonder what the other could be thinking. But more than that it made him want to put a stop to it. He knew he could bring Isaac over to their side, the second the other had signed that contract Will had been positive of his ability to do that.
Most of all he wanted to make Isaac behave. He was forcibly reminded of his own desires as they stepped into the others bedroom. He wanted the first thing the small man thought of before he decided to do something villainous to be what Will would think about it, and what he might do because of it.
Putting his desires and thoughts aside the large man moved away from Isaac and nodded in appreciation as he walked around the room. "Nice place, shame really," he said lightly, like it was nothing. "You're not even really going to get to say good bye."

The look on Spencer's face, his beautiful green eyes pricked with tears, made Max's heart ache and he hoped that he had overstepped. He would hate it if he had went to far and offended him. As sure as he was that Spencer needed a sharp reminder to be careful and look after himself, he didn't want to give it to him at the expense of their friendship.
However, when he saw him take a deep breath and lay his slender form over his lap, he felt reassured. Relief washed over him and he rested one of his hands on the small of Spencer's back.
"Of course I will." He assured him, unable to help himself from looking over his coworker's body as he lay there, and appreciating the feel of his weight against his thighs. His other hand hovered a few centimetres above the other's bottom, hesitant to touch it, which was ridiculous given the punishment that he had committed to dishing out. He sighed at his own shyness and shook his head.
"Are you ready?" He asked, letting his palm rest on the rear end, giving it the lightest of pats as he waited for Spencer to reply.
"Isn't this me saying goodbye?" Isaac replied, moving over to the bed and running a hand over the sheets with the tips of his fingers. It was true though, he would miss sleeping in this bed. He would miss the view from the window. He supposed that was one of his weaknesses, he got attached to things. Even as a child, he had never had the heart to throw out old toys or books, because they were his and it felt wrong to abandon them. His parents would eventually do it themselves, but he could never.
He sighed slightly and sat down, facing the window from the bed. "I admit, it's odd being here with you. It's odd being on the same side as you. It almost doesn't feel real yet." He confessed, his grey eyes looking out into the greenery that surrounded his former home.

At any other time, and for any other reason, Spencer would have been beside himself with excitement to be touching Max so intimately. As it was he was filled with trepidation to have the others huge paws smacking his backside. He kicked his legs a little to get comfortable and wrapped one arm across his face to hide in, pink ears peeping over the sides.
"Ye-yes sir," the brunette finally breathed, free hand wrapping in the man's pants to hold himself steady.
Will hummed his disagreement as he stepped over to the bed. "I'm sure it'll feel real once you've saved your first cat from a tree." He smiled at his own little joke. "Or maybe tonight when the excitements done and we settle in."
The dark haired man stepped between the other legs, palming the back of his head to bring their lips within inches of each others once again. "And I was talking about a proper goodbye." He purred the words softly, not moving in closer, but not backing away. He wanted to see how Isaac reacted, get a reading on if the others constant glances had been nervous or more aroused as he'd suspected.

Max observed him closely as Spencer did all of this, finding it incredibly endearing. Yes, it was definitely impossible for him to stay angry at him.
However, his sweetness made it all the more unbearable to think that something bad could happen to him. They were in a dangerous line of work as it was, and Spencer didn't need to make it any riskier for himself. Even if it was with the best intentions.
"Good." He replied, his low voice still soft and soothing, rather than harsh. It was true this was a punishment, but he didn't want Spencer to think that it was done out of anger.
He raised his large hand up and brought it down onto the seat of Spencer's pants with a -smack-. He was careful not to be too rough with him, but the slap was still reasonably sharp and landed with a solid sting on its target.
Isaac chuckled a little at that. Now that was truly surreal. He somehow doubted that he would ever be quite so knee deep in everyday heroism, but the image was amusing. He was about to reply when he found Will close to him again. His face only inches away from his own. Close enough to kiss. He could smell his aftershave. It wasn't one he recognised but it made his head spin pleasantly.
Why didn't Will just kiss him?
Before he had time to think, to question Will's motivations any more, he brought his own hands up and his slender fingers gripped onto the front of Will's shirt desperately. His own lips slightly parted, he leaned in and pressed them forcefully to Will's, unable to resist any longer.
