Calvin stirred a little more, eyes opening slightly as Talon's voice was heard, which caused the other male to slowly turn to face him. Now, Cal wasn't very observant, but at this very instance he could practically see the steam coming out of Talon's ears. "Uh..hey." His voice was a little above a whisper, and once he realized how hoarse he was, Calvin cleared his throat. He was confused for a brief moment, not remembering a single occurrence of last night, or at least recalling in small fragments.

"Took the day off for your sake."

Cal yawned, wearily sitting up right on the sofa as he continuously rubbed his eyes. "Damn. I don't even know what happened last night." He smiled, but it slowly vanished when he realized Talon wasn't smiling with him.

"..Look. I'm sorry. I really am, you didn't have to stay ya know...I would've been fine." Cal sheepishly ran a finger through his hair, slowly beginning to avoid Talon's eyes. He did have a twinge of guilt, but apologizing was never one of his strong points.

Talon said nothing for a while, as he had given Cal the chance to partially redeem himself. As luck would have it, the man said nothing to ease the rapid temper Talon had. "No, you would not have been fine Calvin," he stated dryly. "If you had gotten sick there wouldn't be anyone around to help if had cracked your head open or something if I hadn't stayed." The rage softened, only very slightly. He offered Cal a more sincere, worried, gaze as he watched his partner try to apologize for his actions.

"Sorry for what? That I stayed here and watched you sleep because you were overly drunk? The fact that you stayed out past midnight and had me wondering if you'd make it home? Or the fact that you were inconsiderate?" Talon's words were harsh, cold as stone. He wasn't going to let any of that slide, not until Calvin really knew what went wrong.

Talon stood up, stretched, and turned to see his mate. "I'm not going to let this continue. This makes it..what?...three in a week?...Perhaps I am exaggerating, but you must admit that's it's been quite frequent." His gaze hardened now, practically singing with intimidating waves.

Calvin's hand went to his mouth, and the boy began to nibble apprehensively onto his cuticles. He had a habit of doing so whenever he realized he were in serious trouble, and as much as he wanted to say something in his defense, Talon's concerned face was making far more guilty than warranted. "It wasn't my intention to--" He began, slowly dropping his hand to gaze at his boyfriend's sullen eyes as he continued to lecture. Calvin sighed, running both of his hands into his hair.

"I said I was sorry Talon!" Calvin's voice, despite being exasperated and raised, held a hint of desperation. He didn't like this guilt trip, and hated seeing his mate upset with him. However, the boy could be stubborn and hotheaded. "I'll be careful next time okay? Jeez..."

He was tired. Hungover. And wanted to eat pancakes and go right back to bed.

Even still, Cal had a feeling Talon wouldn't end this lecture yet. And as the other man stood, his boyfriend raised a confused eye brow at his words. What?

"What to do you mean..? Yes, I understand I party a little excessively. I'll try to narrow it down to twice a week, kay? But how are you going to stop it? Lock me inside?" Cal rolled his hazel eyes, lazily sinking back against the couch. "I'll change, Talon." His voice softened a bit, eyes slowly glancing at his lover.

"I promise, okay?"

Talon glanced back at Calvin with next to no sympathy at seeing him squirm about. His arms crossed over his chest as he examined the huffy and baffled counterpart. "You don't seem to understand. There will not be a next time. Not until I know you are being safe which you're clearly not. Look at yourself Cal," Talon demanded, gesturing to him. "I've seen you worse, but the matter still stands that you're a mess due to the inability to tell yourself 'no more.''

As Cal's gaze faltered and no longer remained on Tal, he placed one hand under the other male's chin and forced him to look up rather than away. The suggestion of locking the hungover man within the house was tempting, but that wasn't Talon's intention. "No. Hardly makes any impact and you'd most likely find a way to pick whatever locks I have wither digital or non," he replied calmly. "I know you'll change, but I do intend to give a little shove here or there to show you just how important this is." With the declaration made, he released his hold on Calvin's chin and sat down beside him.

Without another word, Talon reached over and pulled Calvin face down onto his lap. He kept a firm hold, expecting his mate to attempt running from him. "This is how," Talon stated firmly with hand raised.

Calvin inhaled deeply, exhaling in exasperation as Talon continued speaking, which shouldn't have came up as much of a surprise. This surely was not the first time he had an earful from the other man, and before they even began to date, Cal often found himself annoyed by it. His hand went back to his mouth for a brief moment, brown eyes looking away as Talon lectured. As much as he wanted to tune him out, it was becoming increasingly difficult to. The dark haired male was quite content on staring at the floor, but he felt his heart skip a beat as Talon forced his chin upwards, causing the two to lock eyes.

Calvin bit his lip, defiantly keeping eye contact for as long as he could muster. At the mention of picking locks, the other male couldn't help but smirk. "Damn straight." He was proud, to say the least, that Talon knew him so well. However, his sly, cocky half grin slowly vanished upon his boyfriend's words, watching as he sat beside him.

"What does that even me--woah, hey!"

Calvin's eyes widened as he found himself staring at the carpet, almost too stunned to even fight back for a split second. "What!? Talon have you l-lost your mind?" This is how? He surely didn't think...this couldn't mean he was going to get....

By his boyfriend?!

Calvin immediately began to struggle, squirming in an attempt to get up, but the writer proved stronger than he as he kept a firm hold. "Oh no. Oh hell no. Let me up Talon! This is ridiculous, I'm not four!" The boy felt his cheeks flush in embarrassment, imagining how his friends would react if they knew just what was transpiring. This was humiliating! If Talon truly was going to do what he thought he was--Cal cringed at the thought. He hadn't been spanked since he were in the sixth grade. He was in college now!

"Talon, listen. Why don't we fucking talk like adults?" Cal couldn't lie--he were terrified to be in this position, just as much as he were embarrassed.

Talon wasn't thrilled by the little show Calvin was displaying. Ignoring his words, the aggravated breathing pattern, and not looking his way... Yeah, more and more things weren't going in Calvin's favor. Inch by inch, the party-happy boy was digging an even bigger hole.

As this performance seemed to immediately dissipate when Talon decided to move Calvin in a very diminishing position, it was his turn to get an earful from his mate. Talon nearly laughed at the panicked bod that was sprawled on his legs. He couldn't help finding it cute that he was so flustered over something (in his mind) so stupid. When asked if he had lost his mind, Talon smirked and shook his head. "No. I'm perfectly sane," he smarted off. As Calvin struggled, as Talon firmly predicted he would, Talon kept a tight hold on him and refused to give the other male any leeway.

"You're right. You're not four. And yes, this is ridiculous. Perhaps you'll remember that when you decide to act younger than your age?" he chimed. "I'm through talking Cal. Tried to speak with you many times before and you've acted the same way every single time. You don't pay attention, spout off anything just to avoid conversation, and show plenty of disrespect towards me," Talon continued to berate. When done, he let the first swing come roughly down onto Cal's clothed backside.

Calvin was utterly dumbfounded. Despite his mate's words, he was sure as silk that Tal had lost his mind anyway. He didn't seem too pleased with his current situation at all, and voiced his opinion with every string of curses he could think of, especially at the realization that he couldn't move at all. "But I'm not acting younger than my age! What's that suppose to mean!?" He snapped, his voice bordering an undignified whine. This wasn't fair, and this definitely wasn't happening. It had to be a very bad dream, and perhaps Calvin would wake up--in his bed--with Talon in a nice little pink apron holding pancakes specifically made for him. Then the two would have a good laugh about how crazy last night was.

"What are you my mother? I talk to you like I talk to everyone else in the damn world--!" Cal stopped mid-rant when Talon's hand swung through the air, making contact with his skinny jean-clad derriere. He had a feeling Tal wasn't going to spank softly...because he felt the sting even through the thin fabric!

For a brief second, the brown eyed man was silent, gritting his teeth and hissing in displeasure. But that didn't last long.

"Dammit, Talon! Let me up!" That hurt, and he clearly wasn't liking where this was headed. He couldn't but think an utter horror if his boyfriend did end up breaking his resolve--and that made him struggle vigorously anew. However, due to how effectively he was pinned, all he could really muster was kicking his legs.

Talon wasn't sure what to be more amused over - the fact of how wigged out his mate was, or the pitiful whining and failed attempts to run. The most the brown haired male managed was providing a better target for Talon. He hid the sadistic entertainment from Cal so he wouldn't add anymore insult to his partner's unfortunate fate.

When the impact made Cal quiet down, Talon was most definitely baffled. For a split second, the writer thought the party-goer would continue to rant and curse even through the, again in his opinion, the punishment he well deserved.

"If you'd listen to yourself Cal, you'd find the answer. I'm not going to explain every damned detail to you. It's obvious. Until you've realized it, I'm letting you up nor am I going to stop," Talon stated coldly. He rose his hand again, minding the legs that flailed about and ignoring them for the moment. Talon took another swing, harder than the first. He showed no pity. His expression remained that of stone. At least he was still talking to Calvin, which was a change of pace considering that he'd ignore his energized mate when pissed off.

Calvin glared incredulously at the floor, his cheeks still flushed and flustered at the mere thought this was going on. The writer was definitely the more reserved of the two, and due to their contrasting personalities, Cal often found the way Talon dealt with things very annoying. This situation was taking the icing off the cake! Before Calvin could even dignify his mate's icy words with a response, another smack impacted the kicking male, this time harder than the last. "..Fuck!" He couldn't help it, that one actually tore out a yelp! "Talon, that hurt!" The brown haired male was beginning to get nervous now. No more did he care about how embarrassing the situation was, well, at least for now. His thoughts were now tied on rescuing his ass!

Immediately, Calvin reached a hand back to ultimately shield and guard any more oncoming spanks. His boyfriend seemed adement on going through with the punishment, and Cal was running out of ideas to avoid it. Turning around, his hand still shielding his jean clad bottom, he gave Talon the most pitiful and remorseful feigned expression he could muster.

"Talon..please.."

Of course he was only pulling out all the stops, using those hazel eyes in an attempt to charm his way off Tal's lap. After all, the punishment had only begun--which worried Cal even further! Two smacks later, and it was already clear this was going to be unpleasant. Hopefully he could tug on his heart strings enough to stop this humiliating spanking.

Talon couldn't restrain the smirk that crept across his face when hearing the forced out curse followed by the more than obvious cry of it hurting. "It's supposed to, otherwise it'd be pointless," he replied calmly. He was about to go for a third swing, but the sudden appearance of the boy's hand got in the way. He raised a brow at this new tactic, not at all pleased with it, then scowled at the pitiful pleading. Silently, he removed Calvin's hand out of range and pinned it to the male's back and did the same with the other.

"Nice try," he mused. "But still not going to happen," he added with the raise of his hand. "Keep this up Cal, continue to try me, and I will go much farther than this. I'm sure you wouldn't want that, especially since there's far more humiliating things I could do," Talon felt the need to inform him. Just to prove his point, he tugged gently at Calvin's waistband, threatening to undress him.

With threat made, he landed two more swift and stinging blows to moving rump below.
