i deleted the one you commented on nene, sorry about that. if anyone woud like to have an image i posted deleted you can just comment on it as well, since i uploaded them all i get emailed whenever someone comments and i can delete it when i see it.

okay so that said... when i upload the remainder of my art (if i do, and not today) i could leave out the ones i know for sure are residents or old aotk, but that will still leave a lot i don't know especially cg stuff. would u all rather i not post it? its likely some resident would be upload due to my ignorance and i don't want to make work for other people or offend anyone.

I thought normal users had moderation rights for the unknown pool?
Because I was able to move and edit images there, and I'm pretty sure I saw a delete button.

they definitely did yesterday, did that change? or maybe L was worried about people not knowing how to do it correctly and changed it to a report ticket type system. As uploader i know i can still delete them.

LMAO, no i don't think so i haven't heard any complaints and i tend to think people would be rather insistent about their complaints here, but you know how n00bs are with forums give them a couple rights and they wanna mess with everything so she mighta been worried about that *shrugs* but im grateful for the work u did yesterday

No, I changed it because I realized that having a zillion members with the ability to move anything anywhere is probably the worst idea in the long run.

I found one of mine and commented on it to have it deleted (due to lack of interest of having that particular image posted here). Should I link to it here?

Next time use the R image. Its a report button. I'm going to probably change it to red one of these days, but you see them on all posts everywhere. They are inside a picture page as well.

Ya uploaded 400 pictures, 250 of them have been deleted, another 100 are outstanding to be removed... because you dumped largely useless, unwanted images by people who didn't want them uploaded - without names, titles, descriptions or context into the wrong gallery... and you want to talk about noobs?
I'd be careful because you've wasted enough of your life already and you've already created enough distractions.
That gallery was clearly labeled for one or two unidentified images - not a place to be spammed with an imagedump of hundreds of pictures you expect someone else to spend hours of their life sorting out.

As to complaints, there were about 80 'reported image' alerts on the first few pages alone before whoever was doing it got bored of flagging almost all of them.

I suggest in future you work smarter, not harder.

Rob, seriously? I already explained this, I talked to L she said I should upload them all because I didn't know which were resident and which weren't, she said upload them all and she'd make a misc album for me to upload them all too. I assumed that unknown pool was that album and uploaded all the images as I was instructed to. L suggested that people could look through what i posted and if they recognized their own images they could themselves move them or delete them if they wanted to. If it had happened like that as it had been proposed it wouldn't take hours as anyone can instantly recognize an image that they created, so to load a page and scan the pics on the page for one you did would take maybe a few seconds per page, so even if it were 20 pages, we're talking 5 minutes for each person to move their own items or delete them. The originally proposed plan was changed and this report thing went into affect which made it a few people's jobs instead of the individual's and that made it take longer. I didn't expect a couple people to spend hours sorting it out, i expected people to take care of their own work which is hardly time consuming. That it was changed is not my fault and even if there were hard feelings: I apologized already 3 or 4 x if i offended somebody, I was just trying to help the best I could, and i went straight to the top for advice before I posted anything to get permission, which I got. I am sorry that you are so utterly annoyed by attempt to help build the gallery, rest assured I shall never upload another image to the gallery ever again because I might piss off someone.

I was obviously talking about people who might purposely claim images they didn't produce as their own or delete items that other people wanted to keep posted simply to be a dick when I said 'n00b'. I was not referring to people who were honestly trying to help.
