"Ugh," was all she could say further, but stomped off to obtain food, which ended up being some sort of cereal, milk and a sliced banana. She ate it in sullen silence, occasionally glaring at him above the rim of her coffee cup.

All the sulking won't help her least bit, since Tawi has already decided this is one trip aftermath of which she won't forget anytime soon. In silence, he waits for Aimee to finish her breakfast, and towards the end, without any comment, he pulls out a spoon from one of the drawers. That shoudl give her time to prepare for what's coming.

She went slightly wide-eyed for a moment at the sight of the spoon, but quickly recovered, narrowing her bright blue eyes, seemingly brighter against how bronzed by the sun she'd become, at him.

"What's that for? I mean, I know what you intend it for, but I'm really not sure why. Because I got high? Newsflash: I spend a good portion of my days high. You would, too, if you had my life. Really, it's the only way anything makes sense."

Tawi sighs, apparently he didn't make it clear enough. "No, it's not because you got high. You came yesterday to the club, completely wasted on daytripper, and I didn't say a word. The problem is your follow up with tons of other drugs...come on, tell me, when did they stop working, so you could go to sleep? Five? Six? That alone is not okay. But what I am royally pissed off about is you sticking me with that derm yesterday."

"Yeah, about six or seven. So what? We're on vacation, right? What, did we have pressing appointments this morning or something? Would it have made a difference if I'd stayed up watching Netflix? As to that derm? That's your own goddamned fault. Seriously. Randomly grabbing someone in a nightclub? You're lucky if all you get is dermed! Usually, people get shot, or wolvered, for that."

She was, of course, referring to the fact that almost everyone went about heavily armed these days and, also, the popular cyber-weapon that was a trio of razor-sharp titanium blades implanted in the forearm, extending with a mental command and the close of a fist.

"No, the point is you got so drugged in one go, it took eight hours for you to even fall asleep. Which is quite an achievement, considering how tired you had to be." But his eyes narrow, when she mentions he could have been killed or injured for grabbing her.

"I didn't grab just somebody, I grabbed you, and that was because you were already falling over. And in that state you had a derm ready for use...whether it was on yourself or somebody else is none of my concern, since it ended up on me. It was like nine, maybe ten, you were already drugged out of your mind, and only getting started. Even designer party drugs have limits, you know..."

She waved a hand, though the expression was somewhat mitigated by the fact that it almost caused her to lose the sheet wrapped around her body, which she rapidly recovered from, "Eh, I slipped. So what? Wouldn't be the first time, nor the last. And, yeah, staying awake? That's... kind of the point of uppers. As to limits? I know, that's why I tend to stick to hallucinogens. After a certain point, you just can't react to them anymore, you don't have the serotonin to get any higher... you just get sort of demented."

"So you think this is, for some reason, acceptable? Just because you used to get wasted before, it's okay to do? Newsflash: It's not. Daytripper, fine. Weed, fine. Stim of your choice, fine. But not everything at the same time. Now come on." Tawi grabs the spoon and takes a few steps towards Aimee. "You're fourteen, I'm not going to let you get wasted like this. And since you don't know better, let's make sure you don't forget it."
