Alan grunted aprovingly, it wasn't as bad as it could have been. The two of them shareing a sleeping bag was a bit of a suprise, from enemies to friends just like that. "We'll a pair fitted for her before we leave, we should have a bit of time. Susan? Perhaps you should stay with your father untill he wakes? " He hesitated before speaking, he was generaly fairly loose with praise for small things but it came sparingly for the healing crafts. "He, looks good. I wont have to redo anything...thank you Sarah."

Sarah just nodded. It wasn't like she was really happy to share her sleeping bag but it was large enough and so her teacher wouldn't need to spend more money than necessary. She couldn't hide a little smile as he praised her and looked away to hide it.

Alan smiles a little, glancing to Susan with a nod as she went before turning to speak to Sarah in a hushed tone. "That's good, alright. Let's hear it. What's his condition? How long untill he's stable enough to leave him with his wife?" He asked a little urgently, feeling uncomfertable staying in a town that he knew would be unable to support him for long. sure he could exchange his services for room and board but in time he would run out of components and these people certainly weren't going to pitch in to have them restocked.

Alan nodded decisively and looked her Sarah over before patting her firmly on the shoulder. It was about right, vague but you always had to be in this sort of work. Not only because you didn't always know, but because people sometimes grew irate when they knew the exact truth of their health...or a loved ones chances. "Good, good. once her father wakes up we'll get our shopping done first thing...i'm going to go set up the cart, you watch her and tell me when the both of you are ready." He rambled out, giving her a soft pat on the shoulder and turning to march toward the door with his hands held tightly togehter behind his back, trusting in her to remember it all and get it right.

Sarah nodded and went over to Susan. "Would you mind if I would sit down next to you?", she whispered, because she didn't want to scare her or wake her father up just because she made too much noise.

Susan was just sitting there, staring at her father, lost in her own thoughts. She jumped slightly when Sarah approached and and managed a small smile and shook her head.
