Alan looked back to his apprentice with a cirsp nod before turning to face the woman. He was certain she could arange some sort of payment, little villages like this would often band together in time of need. "If you are able, we'll see what we can do for him."

Sarah looked at her teacher and cocked her head. Did he mean that she would come with him to see the sick man? But she had to take care of all the poisons, hadn't she? Unsure what to do, she decided to just stay there and do nothing. She couldn't do something what she shouldn't do then, and so it was safe that she wouldn't be punished.

The woman nodded and started leading them towards her tiny little house. It was homey and nice, but it was very clear that the family didn't have much money. Once inside she led the man to the bed her husband was laying in, sleeping.

The man didn't look as though he was utterly beyond saving, but he'd wait and here the truth of the matter before he made that decision. It was his duty to tend to these matters with professional, compasionate behavior. That was one thing his old master had instilled in him quite deeply.

The woman started explaining to Alen about her husbands illness. How long it had lasted, how it had been in the beginning, anything that might be of interest she told him, not wanting to leave anything out and then maybe have the man give him the wrong potion.
While all of this was going on Susan had curled up on a chair, watching them silently.

Sarah stood next to her teacher and listened to the woman, while she looked at the sleeping man. He didn't seem as sick as the woman told her, but little did the girl know.

Alan stood and listend, occasionally reaching out to touch the man curiously. He was certanily ill, he'd need quite a bit of help. But that was what he'd come for after all wasn't it? Digging a scrap of parchment and charcoal from his bag he began to scrawl out a list for his young apprentice. Though he certainly wouldn't allow her to handle the diagnosis alone she was old enough to begin treating.

"Thank you miss, Sarah? See to him?" He said, gently touching at the womans shoulder and guiding her away from her husband. discretely he reached behind himself to offer the girl the list. "The lady and I will need to discuss the rather unpleasent subject of compensation.
