Demon Desires (Tangerine and zenith)

[Tangerine]

Polar opposites Raven and Starfire bent over beside each other. It would have an intriguing vista to take in. Two heroic tushies offering the best of both worlds when they were together. Firm and springy. Supple and wobbly. It was quite subjective which one would be more tempting to lay a hand on. Though there were areas in which Starfire was technically better due to her alien heritage.

Raven briefly described that unlikely picture she mentioned. “An orange,” because it was, well, orange, “and a dragon fruit,” which were exotic and pale, “next to each other. A pair of each actually.” Without going into the details, she tried to depict what she thought might be at the back of his head.

At his dog house related questions, she rolled her eyes. On the other hand, hearing them admittedly also gave her a tingle between her thighs.

“Why didn't you ask those louder? I don't think people heard you well enough,” the sarcastic titan scolded him for forgetting they were in public. “Anyhow. Yes, expect fetching and bowls. Well maybe? It depends on how lowly I feel at the time.”

Knowing how impatient Starfire could get sometimes, and because she didn't want to be subjected to her melodic voice, she took Robin by his shoulders and turned him towards Starfire, who was waving to them right ahead. “Whatever. Bon appetit.” Giving his bum a haphazard smack, she sent him to her.

With her bottom lip tucked under her front teeth, like a squirrel with red hair, Starfire gazed across the bustling mall. Going out truly lifted her spirits.

“Strawberries, maple syrup, popcorn, pickles, and crisps as toppings!” she exclaimed. The other patrons at the cafe paused, glancing over in confusion. To her though, it was the perfect combination full of texture. Cheerful and energetic, she marched to the counter.

Robin blushed a bit as Raven described everything. Robin shrugged and understood her position. Still, that didn't stop him from point out, "It would make a good fruit salad though," he reminded her and looked a little amused as she pointed out that he was saying it out loud. "Raven, you're the one building it outside. You could have hid this in your room and nobody would have known," he said. But he understood her point. Don't make it more obvious.

He waved back to her and blushed a she spanked him. He didn't mind, but he was surprised that she was that forward with him. Raven rarely hugged another person, let alone spank them. Maybe being soanked was helping her being more open in general? He supposed that Starfire might have seen and he would have to explain it to her what it meant. Then again, maybe Starfire knew that it was a gesture of affection. He'd have to find out.

He say down across from Starfire and looked at menu and considered what he wanted. As he heard Starfire's order, the customer ar the counter blinked. They had all the ingredients, but that was a very unusual combination. "Umm, sure thing miss," he said as he wrote down her very unusual order. Whatever made her happy. The customer was always right.

Robin then approached and knew enough that he'd have to order for the rest of the team. "I'd like waffles with maple syrup and whipped cream," he said. Something sweet, but not too fancy. "As for to go, one with extra bacon, extra butter and extra maple syrup," he said. That one was for Cyborg. "One with maple syrup, bananas, strawberries and blueberries," he said. That one was Beast Boy. "And one plain with Maple syrup and butter on the side," he said, for Raven. He had a feeling that she'd want to decide how much toppings to put on herself. He paid for the waffles and moved to a table to sit down.

He then gestured for Starfire to sit down. "So Star, how are you doing?" He asked. He knew this was small talk and he could tell that she would was doing fine. He supposed that he was curious if she had anything interesting going on.

Her epic combination of toppings, which was assured to be tasty, didn't turn out that great actually as Starfire started to eat it. Apparently, tossing everything she liked on top of each other didn't always work. Perhaps some flavours were best enjoyed separately. Something like comparing oranges and apples. Or oranges and dragon fruits?

“You must be a good observant Robin.” she grabbed another big chunky bite of her unearthly treat. “To know each of us so well to order specific toppings,” she said, occasionally smiling back at the patrons who recognised and glanced at her. “I used to always get it wrong when I ordered for my sister.” She adjusted her skirt under the table. Frankly, she’d started to do that more often since he’d suggested how people liked to see her in skimpy clothing. What she wore didn't reveal awfully much, but still.

Once hers were gone, she looked across the takeaway batch of waffles on the table. No, she wasn’t considering devouring them next. “Perhaps we should have picked some for Raven’s imaginary pet too?” she covered her mouth to cover the chuckle she bursted out. “Not that I know what they eat. Or need.” Her knowledgeable detective of a boyfriend would know, she supposed. “What do you think? How did you feed your bats in the past?”

Robin looked at Starfire and saw that she wasnt eating as much. "Are you feeling ok?" He asked her, concerned. He didn't know why she wasn't eating as fast as she usually did. He assumed that something was bothering her since her favorite beverage was mustard. Her taste buds might not match a normal humans.

Robin looked a bit embarrassed as Starfire mentioned that. "Thanks Star. I suppose I've gotten to know all of you so well that I've figured out what everyone likes," he said as he took a bite of his own waffle. "And i did get it wrong at first," he admitted as took a sip of coffee. "But I learned more about you all." He said. He knew that it did sound very corny, but the Titans were like a family to him and he cared about them all deeply. So he did become very good at guessing what sorts of foods they ate.

"And don't worry about Blackfire. I'm sure that if you tried now, you'd get it," he promised her as he tried to guess what Blackfire would like. The problem was that she had alien taste buds too. His best guess was something like bacon and chocolate. Hard to tell.

"Are you still hungry?" He asked as he saw her eyeing the waffles. "I can order you more if you like," he promised her as he was still eating his own meal. And when he heard Starfire's suggestion, he coughed and took a sip of coffee quickly. "Err, most of the time, animals don't eat human food, or if they do, it's usually raw ingredients, like apples," he explained. "Foods like waffles, that are usually made with butter and sugar, are bad for pets," he said, nervous. He didn't want Starfire to know that Raven was the let in question.

"And the bats were wild. They lived in the cave, true, but we never fed them anything. And they ate insects. Most bats do," he explained to starfire as he finished his own meal.

Did she really eat it so fast that her bf thought she didn’t eat at all? It embarrassed her a little, to potentially look like a hungry alien who ate like a horse. As a princess, she always thought she should look graceful with perfectly good manners. “Yup! I’m just fine!” she let out a nervous giggle. Unlike Raven, she was pretty expressive, and her emotions tend to be somewhat overwhelming when she let them out, as she often did.

“No! I’m totally good!” smiling widely, she picked up a napkin, lifting it over her lips and dabbing the corners with an overly polite manner. She hoped that the people around were taking note of her lady-like demeanour, as a Tamaranean.

Her pretty visage was contorted with disgust as Robin talked about insects and such. Being a powerful heroine didn't make her immune to the uncomely sight of bugs after all. And bats couldn't be considered terribly adorable creatures either. “Hm. You should have trained those bats,” she suggested. That was the way to go, she supposed, training misbehaving pets.
