"Kari? It's time for you to wake. Time for you...to escape."

A sole girl laid still, trapped in a cell with no idea where she was and only a strange gruff voice in her...head? Yes her head. In her infolink to be exact. She didn't know it yet but she'd been through a horrible accident and now found herself heavily augmented and...captured in a cell for some reason or another. The voice pestered on though, desperate to wake the sleeping girl.

"Wake up! You must escape! I'm cutting the power to the cells in your area, grab a weapon and escape!

The voice commanded as the lights flickered on and off, until the electronically locked doors simply popped open.

[Terra]

Kari shot awake. "The hell...?" She muttered as she woke up. She crawled under the door and picked up a 10mm pistol which, unknowing to her, were loaded with knock-out shells. She took a breath and slowly turned a corner, quietly opening a vent and closing it behind her. She followed the vent and dropped into a hallway. She opened a nearby door and took out a guard with three shots.

After continuing, she noticed a datacube with security information to a terminal. She shut down cameras and continued to a door, she carefully opened it and headed outside. A guard barely saw her, but she took cover and shot him. After making sure the coast was clear, she ran to the door and entered, exiting the compound. . .Or so she thought.

Waiting outside for Kari was not a simple exit however. Instead she found herself face to face with the man from behind the infolink. "Congratulations Kari, you've passed the test with flying colors. Welcome to the team. I know you'll be wantin' an explanation but i'll just fill you in on the way back to base huh? Follow me." The man ordered suddenly, turning immediately and simply expecting Kari to follow.

[Terra]

Kari blinked, but followed the man. She put her hands in her pockets and walked slowly, taking in everything that had happened.

[Skull612]

"Ok, here's the rundown. You can call me Bruce by the way Kari. Okay well first off all that you just did was a test, to see how well your augmentations took and to verify whether or not you could join us in our mission. Yes I did say augmentations, you've got 'em now, again we'll get to the reason later on. C'mon get in the chopper and it'll take us to base, i'll continue in there." Bruce explained before hopping into the chopper and waiting for Kari to follow him.

[Terra]

(get to da choppa! xD)

Kari hesitated, but got inside the chopper after Bruce. She had slight acrophobia, so she was tense as she rode through the sky.

(Was thinking that the entire time. xD)

"Alright now...where was I? Oh yes, the augments. Tell me, what's the last thing you remember before waking up? If you remember it should give you a pretty good idea of why you're here. You had pretty bad accident, so we fixed you with augmentations to save you. Now we'd like for you to join us. Our missions are mainly taking down various terrorist groups. So what do you say, will you help us like we helped you? Oh, and if you've any questions for me go ahead and ask them now, before we get back to base." Bruce offered, hoping to ease her tensions a bit. It was after all quite a bit of information to take in. The helicopter seemed to make her more tense as well, seems the file had been right about the slight acrophobia. That would be important to remember for later missions he was sure.

[Terra]

"Last I remember, I was walking home and I saw a few speeding cars." Kari said. "But I'm not really sure what questions to ask."

[Skull612]

"Well i'll tell ya the car hit you. I doubt you want the actual specifics. Really, no questions come up at all? Alright then, just if you do think of something go ahead and ask partner. Ah you will join us right?" Bruce asked once more, pressing the choice upon her again. They still had a few minutes before they arrived and he'd like to get that settled before then.

[Terra]

"I almost have no choice. I owe you." Kari said, looking out the window.
