Hi! So I played the demo and I was wondering if there could be a choice where you can choose the gender of the spanker? So like if you wanted m/m you could choose it or f/m?

The gender preference affects the genders only of the three romance options at the start of the game. To make the game take into account preference for every spanker would have been unfeasible, as there are many planned spankers. If there is a big enough outcry for it however, I will consider expanding the list of gender preference affected NPCs so that the volume of player chosen gender spankers is much higher. Full, complete, 100% done version? It's way too soon to tell, but I'll make an estimate of a few years. We're at like 5% done right now. My plan is for this game to have a pretty epic scale, comparable to about an Elder Scrolls game in level of content.

Don't worry. It shows promise. And I'm sure there are some fun parts, though it was remarkably easy to miss them, and apparently I've missed my chance for 90 percent of them. And yes, I know this game is still under development and I have taken that into account.
Let me recount my Tale of Woe and the lessons thereof.
Ok, to start with I've gotten a grand total of 2 spankings. And both by the Captain in the ship. The first for fun, the second for my helping that naughty little thief. And I've given a grand total of ONE spanking - to the thief in the port city you start from.
You see, I made a mistake and obviously left the first city early. I had spanked the thief but still agreed to help her leave when that magic user chick decided to do the portal thing. I helped her (figured if I didn't show up it would serve the thief girl right anyway) and we both got through the portal safely. Magic girl went her way, and I went mine to explore the Bigger world outside.
Big mistake. Because I am now (unknowingly) consigning myself to not being able to get back IN to the original city due to quarantine. And I bet that is where 90 percent of all encounters are.
Also, I didn't know of the MAP (I thought the thing I was traveling on was the map) so I didn't use that until I remembered a vague something an hour and a half into the game and pressed PAGE UP and viola ! (nothing labeled though, so still of limited use ).
At first I wonder around and manage to discover ONE of Hatha's towers. The one with the Priestess or whatever. (Haven't found it since or maybe she just left?). I get the thingie from the top of the roof ( I think it was from that tower, my memory blurs).
Anyway, I go back to the original seaport city. By spending some of my original coins , I managed to get to the Winter City (please do not ask me to remember their names) where Sister Soulrot was seemingly the only inhabitant besides guards. She offers to cure me if I get the Darkhold or whatever Magic Tome. Understand it was entirely chance I ran into her as I haven't encountered ANYONE who talks (except carriage drivers and the one Priestess) since my first few minutes in the game.
Ok, she tells me where to go and that goes surprisingly smooth. I get to the Tropical Town, head for the library, FORGET to talk to the librarian , but go upstairs and manage to get The Darkhold (or whatever) on the very first try (maybe there is a way to fail and get spanked?).
So I leave, go back to Winter Wonderland , sleep the night away only to find out that Sister Soulrot can't help me and doesn't know why. Something to do with tons of Mana (I suspect its because I have one of Hatha's playthings?) or Gods or something like that. Not only can't she help me, from that point on she can't even talk to me. And there is no way to interact with anything in her pad.
Anyway, after banging my head on the wall trying to get back IN to the original city, ANd having found one more Hatha Hideout Tower (but NOT succeeding in getting the puzzles solved after 20 mins of trying , but I'll get em eventually) I decide to go back to the Library in Tropicanaville. Talk to the Librarian. Try to get in some mischief or advance a quest or DO SOMETHING. Well, she gives me some books to put away. Now, maybe had I been THINKING I could have left the building with the books. Maybe a spanking? But no, I put them all where they belong and get a monetary reward. Come back tomorrow she says for "More Work". I finally figure maybe tomorrow I should try to mess up and see what happens. WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL long story short after going all the way back to Snowville to sleep in Sister Soulrots room that she is so nicely lending me , I come back to Tropicana Town the next day. Only to get told the same thing: "Come back tomorrow". So...being stubborn and desperate I try one more time. Same message. So apparently that is that. Ms Librarian is stuck on repeat mode and is almost as dead as the guards.
Anywho, I go back and decide, well, I'll try to find Hatha's towers! And I finally (about this time) remember there might be a map (cuz what I thought was the map opened itself and I then remembered something about the PG UP an DOWN keys so I got the REAL map when I pressed those) Long story short: I find two: One I get one of Hatha's Thingamabobs after a frustrating time, and one I can't reach as it is apparently in a lake and the town that is adjacent to it isn't even open to explore dead houses. SO I got a total of 2 of the 4 that I think you can get right now (never did find the 5th tower and I think you said the Quest isn't completable yet anyway ).
Dead houses. That's the start of my next post.

A) Obviously the game world is gonna be HUGE. Big enough that it might feel like an "Open World" even if it technically isn't. YAY. However - right now EVERYTHING is dead. The original port city is the only one with any appreciable number of people in it. Sister Soulrot apparently has her Town all to herself. The Librarian apparently lives in her Library with maybe 5 patrons total. And I can't remember the precise number - ten or maybe even fifteen other cites/towns on the map you can enter - and the only people there are GUARDS who can't even talk. It's like the Land of the Dead. I even found a house all by itself in one place AND I found a secret underground trap door. But - there was NOTHING there. Not even teasury to loot. Same with the two or three caves I managed to enter. They LOOKED lived- in: but no one there, and if I recall correctly only one even had a few coins to loot. No, most of your money comes from Hatha's Towers.
B) It's too hard to get money when you don't know where anything is. And Hatha's Towers are one time things.
Anyway, right now if you do the wrong things you can be trapped in a huge world that is basically DEAD, and where you can't make any apparently meaningful progress on what seems the only two "Quests" open to you. That is horrible and horribly boring and frustrating. Even places that are hidden and seem like worth exploring give you absolutely nothing in return. Even at this stage of the game it wouldn't be too much to ask for a few small treasures at least.
C) Hatha The Ungreatful Bitch Goddess: Ok, the puzzles are frustrating in that they rely on memory and often speed. But with cheats on one (the one with the disappearing tiles- Screen shots are your friend!) and LEET SKILLZ on the other (and a head of stone when I finally beat the third one) you can get the pieces of The Weapon of Death or whatever. However, the bitch Goddess (and I don't recall being ASKED if I wanted to be her avatar) punishes you for failure. And it's a crappy type of punishment: hardly worthy of you OR her. Basically some machine (probably magical) gives you a spanking. No personal touch there (she doesn't appear, nothing is said so I don't even really know why...why am I being punished for trying and trying and trying to do her bidding?). Just a boring sequence of swats that seems to last forever (esp when you are pissed or frustrated at falling through the floor for the 20th time and EACH TIME)...well you get the picture. This Goddess is not only punishing her champion with SWATS but also with boredom. Anyway, LET People SKIP that PLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASE it gets OLD after the 10th time let alone the 50th and it made want to find Hather and PUNCH her.
Well, I think I've said my piece. Sorry if I seem unduely harsh but two hours in , no progress on nothing, hardly an interaction with anyone after the first 5 minutes (except for the Librarian and Sister Soulrot), no way to undo my mistake and enter the city again, a vast world that promises much but currently delivers very little (THIS is NOT your fault)....Egads  Anyway for the game going forward you either need some way to "end a game early" if someone misses something vital (so they don't get stuck and frustrated like I was) or give someone hints (if they aren't making progress after a given time) or something. And of course you can 'block away' most of the unfinished content as a temp fix. The other thing is Hatha needs a skippable punishment OR a BETTER punishment(more interesting and more personal). And she probably needs an Attitude Adjustment herself.
Anyway, I'm going to restart the game and try to be a GOOD BOY and stay in the port city as long as I can.

Hi Remo!
I'm really sorry that you had a bad experience with the game. I will take your criticisms into consideration and work out a way to fix them. All that being said, the design philosophy I'm working with here is to build breadth first, and build depth second. Nothing in this prototype has been polished yet, and nothing in it is finished. Polishing the punishments from Hatha is on my list of things already actually, but only once the actual quest involving them is finished. To address the issue with the dead cities thing. They are open only so that I don't have to put in extra code to gate them off, in the future, all of the houses that are lacking doors will be enterable, and many of them will contain sidequests. As for the lack of spanking, the main questline is kind of where I want to tell an actual story instead of just making smut. There will be spankings in it, but they will be more sideline to the action rather than THE action. Sidequests, however, are going to be where the bulk of the kinky content is.
I hope that addresses some of your problems with the game, thanks for your input.

I've seen your other games and liked them and always tried to give 'constructive criticism',so I'm glad you didn't take this to mean I felt the game sucked or lost faith in your ability.
I was fully aware this was an unfinished game, unpolished (as you said) and on top of that something you are contributing to the community, eventually even the finished version will be free. I appreciate that and I think we all do.
I don't really have any issues with your design philosophy as you just described it. Indeed, I guess I'm glad I brought things to your attention now, esp the fact that one could get stuck in a basically dead game. This is a huge ambitious project you are starting and so any major bugs or things that aren't bugs perse but that might cause a player to get frustrated and quit - well, it's best to find them early, I would think.
Anyway, I'll let you know what I think of the town when I play it. I'm sure that will be much more pleasant. I hope you had the best holiday and thanks for all you've done and for listening to my story.

Hi Godspeak,
I found an annoying glitch/bug - if you approach the blue creature that appears after dark, you are told that this will become a fight in a later version. The problem is, it just keeps repeating this and doesn't let you exit the dialog. I had to exit the game and restart, and then just avoided it if I saw it.
So far, however, this is looking to become a great game.
