I'm usually the first to snort and jeer at moderators and admins (for various reasons), but you have to give them a break. You can't expect them to go around cleaning up after everyone's mistakes; they'd never have time to harass the poor, innocent trolls!

I understand the perfectionist mentality (really, I do) and seeing mistakes sitting around constantly reminding you, rots worse than the ninth spincter of hell. My advice would be to just leave the thread go. When mods or admin have nothing to do, they'll turn on the zambone and clear threads that amount to nothing.

Really, you need to let them do the more important stuff around here, like contemplating the reasons for bellybutton lint...
