Digimon 03 (for farrenlock)

Many years have passed since the Chosen Children saved the real world and Digital World from darkness. But now a new threat is bubbling from under the surface so the Digital World called for a new era of digidestined to be born. One day, 4 students that either barely knew each other or had no idea who they were absorbed by a flash of light from wherever they were standing and sent falling down into the Digital World. At first they were separated but soon they were able to locate each other one by one. At first they didn’t really trust each other, and honestly some still don’t really, but they do know they need to work together to find out what’s happening and how to get back home

About an hour into the adventure, one of the group members phones began to glow white with a hint of black scattering in the light. They began to walk and suddenly a symbol appeared in the light. It looked like a Yin and Yang symbol. None of them knew what it meant but they decided to keep walking. After a bit, he was ambushed by a white dinosaur that tackled him in a hug. He quickly introduced himself as Gammamon to the phone welder, whose name is Alex.

Alex was just a normal guy, or so he thought. He loves going out with friends, playing on sports teams, the occasional video game with his friends and is always looking for a good laugh. But in this confidence that he often boasts, he is secretly unsure of himself and is holding a secret that even he would like to forget. He’s wearing a red hoodie with white outlines on the side and the sleeve rolled up, blue jeans and black sneakers. He has black messy hair that he always keeps unkempt. He always has his goggles hanging around his neck, which was a Christmas gift from his sister back home.

As quickly as Alex found his partner, everyone else would find theirs in a similar fashion. Including Joey. He is the tech guy of the group. He loves working on electronics but he often feels like others overstate his skill. He his phone was glowing yellow and had a torch like design in the middle. He soon found his partner FanBeemon in a tree and had to coax him down. He’s wearing a yellow collared shirt that’s tucked in, large glasses, brown neat hair, brown pants that end around his ankles, socks that are up high and suspenders.

With everyone finding their partner, it wasn’t long before danger followed them. A Gorillamon appeared from out of the tree and was on a rampage, demanding the humans to go home as he pointed his arm canon at them. As everyone ran, Alex and Gammamon stayed behind to fight him. But first he stood still, hands to his chin as he tried to think of a dramatic entrance. All the while, Joey in the other had no choice but to try and fight him off. Suddenly, Joey had an idea. He had FanBeemon shoot his Gear Stinger attack at a loose rock, which caused a chain reaction and caused Gorillamon to go running in the distance. “Oh man! We did it Gammamon!” Alex cheered as he watched the Digimon run off as Gammamon cheered. “You’re so cool, bro!” The small Digimon cheered

Metra, the quiet teen that sported her maid outfit still with a few minor additions from being transported to the digital world, stood and observed from a safe distance in a high tree. While she would've assisted it seemed as though her classmate, a team leader of sorts for the guys football team, was taking matters into his own hands. She let him take the reigns up until seeing him piddle around as they indecisively tried to plan a cool and show offey type entrance of assault. Her brow furrowed in annoyance, but she didn't voice her disapproval just yet. The area wasn't safe for them to linger. Gorillamon could easily come back to finish the job of disposing them.

Alice, a short fused pianist from a neighboring school, played the cowardly role and hid in the bushes with her partner leering back at her from a tree branch. "I could've taken them! Why'd I get such a wuss?" Demidevimon grumbled. Alice scowled back at them. "Then why didn't you? I can't do anything about an oversized ape shooting at us! I'm a dainty high school girl in high heeled boots! I'm not built for this stuff!" Alice complained in a huff.

The two girls of the group couldn't be more opposite of each other. Yet, somehow, they tolerated each other's presence. "There's a cavern north of here. Let's rest there for a bit. We did just run around like mad," Metra advised the group. As she spoke, she snapped a twig off a low hanging branch and removed excess leaves and pointed ends until the twig was smooth. "What if there's a bear?" Alice squeaked. "We'll eat it," Demidevimon says dryly. Alice looked mortified.

Nicky was catching his breath as the adrenaline died down as he was buckled over. This was probably the most stressful thing he did in his life. But to make matters worse, he wasn’t getting any credit. “U-Ummm we were the ones that did it…” Nicky said nervously to him and his partner FanBeemon. “Yes we did!” Alex said triumphantly, either intentionally ignoring what he was saying or not listening or he’s just being a dunce

As the two lightly argued, they would stay in the same spot as the girls went on ahead towards the cave. Gammamon could feel a glare coming from them in that direction. Especially if another rockslide hits, they could be in the drop zone. Whether it was luck or Nicky knew the calculations, they weren’t flattened by boulders last time but next time they may not be so lucky. It doesn’t help that Alex’s attitude and showboaty nature is starting to rub people the wrong way

Metra stayed silent throughout the gloating and show stealing parading that Alex did. To get them moving, however, she gestured for Mikemon to help tote the pair towards the cave. Mikemon loyally evolves and picked the two boys up. "Does it really matter who knocked the overgrown gorilla into submission?" Alice griped as she followed slowly behind the group. "Ey, ey, Meetraaa, you say something too," she whined in the other girl's general direction.

Metra glanced back from her new perch atop Bastemon's shoulder. "I'll address it when we reach safety," she says simply. Bastemon cocked a brow at her partner, finding her words odd.

As Alex continued to proclaim how his ‘awesome leadership’ got the victory for them today and Nicky tepidly tried to explain how he and his partner did it, they both would let out a gasp as the feminine Digimon picked them up with ease and carried them away like luggage. “Woah! How’d you do that!” Alex yelled, shocked with how much control she had with her partner to make her digivolve so fast. He still couldn’t get Gammamon to digivolve and he’s the self proclaimed leader. “I mean… nice job! Just like how I taught you!” He added

Meanwhile, Nicky was blushing. He doesn’t know if he’s ever been this close to a female before that wasn’t his mother. And he didn’t expect this to be how it went, even if it is a Digimon. But he remained quiet as they were pulled into the cave as Gammamon spread its wings and flew beside them with FanBeemon

"I believe they responded to my emotions." Metra gently pet Bastemon's head, more out of curiosity than to give comfort. "Metra, that tickles! You're going to make me drop them if you keep that up!" Bastemon griped back at her as they tried to keep from squirming about.

Alice yawned loudly with arms stretched overhead. She nearly boxes Nicky with the careless movement, but she doesn't appear to notice. Once they arrive in the cave's mouth, the females of the group go about setting up camp. Alice found supplies to make a fire, while Metra brought bedding in the form of a few vine hammocks.

After the last hammock was set up, Metra stand and goes over to Alex's side. Hidden within her satchel was a thin, but smooth bendable branch. She takes his hand and guides him away from the cave, but not far enough to not be seen by the group. "We must talk. Now," Metra says sharply.

The guys were soon mostly silent as they were taken back to the camp, especially as the threat of them being dropped was becoming a factor. They were smart enough to avoid any sudden movement that would tickle the apparently sensitive and ticklish Digimon.

Some time has passed since the guys arrived at the cave and the guys did all the work to set up camp. Atleast Nicky had the excuse that he was trying to get access to the internet. With FanBeemon on his shoulder, he leaned up against the cave wall and was typing away on his phone, unfazed by the heat of the burning fire nearby.

Alex meanwhile was busy feeling bad for himself. Not because of anything he did or a mistake he made but he just thought of an awesome one liner and pose and never got to use it. But now that the first battle was over it was pointless. He was soon brought back to reality by the touch of a soft hand. “H-Hey! What’s the matter? Did something crawl up your butt?” He asked, clearly annoyed by being treated like this but no matter how hard he pulled, he was locked in tight to her grip. Nicky noticed the pair leaving the cave but didn’t pay much kind to it. Gammamon was about to follow them but was stopped by FanBeemon, who stuck its arm out and shook his head silently

"Funny, I was going to ask the same of you for how you acted this evening. First by deciding to put on a theatrical performance instead of helping your team not die, taking all the credit for someone else's work, and overall neglecting to look out for the group's well being. So, what do you have to say for yourself dear 'leader'?" she hummed airily. Her grip got stronger as she felt him try to yank free. Metra wasn't going to let this slide.

Alice wondered over to Nicky's side, peering over the shoulder that Fanbeemon wasn't perched on. "Were you able to connect to anyone, Nicky?" the blond asks. "I would love to contact my family to tell them I'm ok. I bet they're worried sick!" she prattled on.

“Clearly my leadership was the deciding factor in our victory today!” Alex said as he was completely full of delusion. It’s clear all of this has gone to his head and boosted his ego to levels that are off the charts. “You could do nothing without my help. If I wasn’t here, you would be monster food!” He proclaimed, trying his best to break out of her grip to no avail. He had no idea what she had planned or what she was hiding from him

Nicky gasped at the voice as Alice approached him, trying to hide his blushing face from behind the computer. It was clear he was still extremely inexperienced with talking with girls, even in just a normal and friendly manner. “N-No… t-there seems to be some sort of… i-interference going on…” the nerdy guy said nervously

Anger flooded her mind, her expression, her gaze. The moment they declared to take all the credit for something they sure as hell didn't do, they may as well had sealed their fate. Metra swerved on her heels, acted as if she'd slap him, but stopped. No. The group would likely gripe if they saw the mark. So, she found a clearing upon a flat rock and dragged him over her lap. She locked his arms to the small of his back while one leg tugged around his two to prevent them from baling. "Your leadership was horrendous as is your persistent lies. Nicky's partner saved us, as did my own."
Metra started off small as she rammed the palm of her hand into his clothed backside. "That inflated ego will get us all killed," she proceeded to lecture with strength slowly adding up with each swat.

Alice squinted at Nicky for a moment. "If it's not connecting, nerd boy, what are you doing? Staring at a black screen?" she huffed. "Come on, join me in getting the fire started! I've never made one before," she pressed.
