"Rei..... BEGIN!" She rushed foward faster than they saw her running before, and jump kicked gatomon in the face, knocking her on to her back.

Gatomon glared at Rei as she said,"No fair,you didn't even wait for me to get ready!Well,just stay put,Cat's eye Hypno!" Rodrigo shook his head as he thought,"It's just like Gatomon to think that her opponent will announce that he will attack before doing it.But to try and hypnotize Rei in the start of the fight....she must be pretty desperate to do so."

Renamon suddenly disappeared, as did gatomon. Rei appeared where gatoman had been, and gatomon where she had been. Her own attack was moving at her.

Gatomon looked at her Tamer and thought,"Boy,if I continue to get beaten here I'm in even more trouble than I already am now.She's just a Rookie for goodness sake,Rodrigo will make my training be even harder if she actually beats me!" Then she yelled to Rei,"I'm done playing around!Lightning Claw!" as she went in Renamon's direction faster than lightning with her attack.

Rei leapt into the air, dodging the lightning claw. While she was above her she yelled, "Diamond Storm!" and thousands of diamond shards shot down at the gatomon.

Gatomon ran around like crazy trying to avoid the attack."Danm it,this is not good!" she said,and Rodrigo again shook his head and said,"I'm starting to lose my patience,Gatomon!Will you stop underestimating Rei for being a Rookie and fight well or will I have to have a TALK with you after we finish here?" Gatomon gulped,she knew from previous experiences what her Tamer meant by talk,and then used all her speed,taking Rei off guard with a punch to her chest.

Rei landed safely and ran at gatomon. "Use the skills I taught you from practice Rei!" Rei swung a kick at gatomons feet, tripping her and putting her in mid-air. Rei then proceeded to kick gatomon again, flipping her through the air away from her. Gatomon slid across the ground, and Rei used another diamond storm while she was down.

Gatomon rolled out of the way."Hmm,Rodrigo...can I digivolve?" she asked.Rodrigo sighed and said,"It's so danm embarassing...that's why I say you should pay more attention to your training.Fine,do as you wish,you are already in big trouble anyway." She gulped again but digivolved to Angewomon."Celestial Arrow!!!!" she yelled,launching her attack.

Rei used her teleportation to switch places with angewoman again, and angewoman's arrow was heading right towards her. "Have a piece of your own medicine!"

"Ouch,that hurt!" She complained and froze at the look in her Tamer's face."I saw enough.That's what happens when you don't train seriously.De-digivolve-it's over." he said. "But Rodrigo-" "Don't make me even more angry than I already an by disobeying me.Do as I say." "Right...." she became Gatomon again and went to her Tamer's side,nervous.Rodrigo looked at Xiao and said,"Gatomon can be such a headache at times.She fools around in training,and then that kind of thing happens.But Rei is very good herself."
