Parkaleaf Village is a place of many things, from friendly and unfriendly residences to major trades...too bad not all that trade is successful as more and more words have been spread across the village of a bandit that has been robbing almost everyone who go through Parkaleaf Woods, the main way most people go in and out the town to reach various locations.

Though never children. For some reason there has been children who claim that this bandit...this 'TigerLily'...has helped them whenever they are lost.

Too bad merchants and wealty folk aren't children though as many have complained and has even gone as far as offering various rewards for getting rid of said bandit. Many have tried, many have failed and many even mention how, even though having no weapon, this bandit is too fast for them to strike her down. Her? Yes, 'TigerLily' is a nineteen year old woman and she is currently prowling about the woods for her next victim.

Taisuke, despite being young, was a master martial artist who’s name was known around the village he grew up in. Plenty of people have tried to learn from him, though none have ever been able to keep up with his exceptional school. Well, he wanted to change this. The young man had left his home village in search of someone who he thought would have the potential to learn from him, searching far wide.

He had heard of a nearby village that might have potential students, and decided that would be his next destination. As he headed there, he noticed several signs warning of thieves, though he wasn’t nervous or worried. He could handle some lowly bandit just fine, especially someone who called themselves “TigerLily”. Where they were a tiger, he viewed himself as a dragon.

Many would say that there multiple bloodthirsty thieves instead of one thief. After all, what strong bloke would admit to getting his ass kicked by a slender beauty who doesn't look threatening at all? And while TigerLily does appear somewhat slender in build, though quite curvaceous, this could contribute to her nimbleness. A nimbleness that has enabled her to move from hiding spot to hiding spot as she appears to have found someone to target and rob.

"This guy doesn't even look armed...I'm not so sure about attacking a helpless target-" Lily glanced down towards her belly before returning her eyes upon the male "-I'll make it quick and make sure he ain't badly injured." Mere moments after mentally making her decision the black and white haired woman sprung out from behind a tree that Taisuke has not long walked past. "No one would walk through these woods without food or funds, so surrender them and I'll point you towards the safest route out of here-" the ponytailed bandit slowly lowers herself into a style of fighting stance "-you won't like the alternative."

Hmm, seemed everything was peaceful. Maybe the sign had been a lie and there were no bandits at all? The sound of bushes rustling disproved that thought and soon Taisuke found himself face to face with someone who looked only maybe 2 or 3 years younger than him. The dark haired young man watched as she got into a fighting stance, well if you could call that a fighting stance, and wondered if this was who the signs had warned about. If so then perhaps he got off lucky. He had been expecting some big, hulking brute carrying a weapon, but an unarmed thief was something he could handle with little effort.

“I think you’re mistaken, I carry nothing of value,” he told her, already calming his breathing to prepare himself for what he was about to do. “If you’re looking for food and money, I suggest working at a market.”

"Value depends on the eyes of the beholder," calmly departed the lips of the raven haired beauty. A beauty? Well the curvy thief does appear relatively attractive depending on the opinion of those who lay their eyes down upon her. Like, if it wasn't for this situation, Lily may have taken the time to notice how Taisuke look not much older than her...or even something else about his appearance that might've gotten her attention more.

At least a lot more than the appearances of those she has mugged before.

"And I refuse to believe that someone would be stupid enough to go through these woods without a form of food...so I'll repeat myself...surrender them," the unarmed thief tries to sharpen her voice in an attempt to sound more threatening...though completely unaware of the extent of what Taisuke could be prepared to do.

After a few more breaths he was ready, getting into a defensive stance. Now he was prepared to fight the girl, and perhaps teach her a lesson or two about stealing from others. Without another word he’d motion for her to come at him, never one to throw the first blow. How figured he’d give her the chance to leave before attacking her himself, not thinking she’d looked like a particularly bad person. She was probably just hungry, most thieves were.

"So...you want to fight..." TigerLily sighed in visible annoyance, possibly daring to judge this guy on his appearance - like many have been guilty of towards her - than actually taking the martial artist as serious as she should. "Why can't they just simply give up and avoid getting their ass beaten?" Could this be a taunt? A genuine Question? Whichever it could be that didn't stop Lily from suddenly shooting for with what looks like a punch.

Looks like being the keyword as her plan is to simply sweep the guy's legs out from under him, with her own, the moment he tries to protect his face. A plan she has used a lot in the past against those who has no experience in fighting without a weapon.

“I don’t want to but you’re leaving me no choice,” he replied as he waited for her. He wasn’t sure how to respond to her question, but he didn't have long to decide on an answer as she threw a punch at him. As he prepared to dodge, he noticed a slight movement in her legs and jumped up instead, throwing out a spinning kick of his own.

The jump definitely surprised Lily...heck the look on her face alone would've been more than enough to make clear that she isn't used to someone dodging her attacks, or even guessing her moves. Though there isn't long to see her facial expression as immediately the ponytailed combatant moved both her hands on the floor and not only pushed at an angle to make her twirl away from the kick but also begin some kind of upside down spinning kick (think Hitmontop in Pokemon)...

A kind that looks a bit wild instead of refined, as well as one that could possibly leave one of her legs potentially grabbable while the other foot looks dangerously like it could end up hitting somewhere someone respectable shouldn't hit a male.

Taisuke was amused to see she had dodged his attack. Maybe if she weren’t a bandit she’d make a fine pupil. Just as he thought that, the girl performed an attack he hadn’t seen before, well at least not from the people he’s fought before. He didn’t think much of it though, seeing as the attack was wild and left her open. He reached out a hand and grabbed her foot, immediately halting the attack.
