Jack strode out of the hospital and to the TARDIS waiting by the trees. He unlocked the door and went inside, holding out his arms, "hey, girlfriend, remember me?" he asked and spun around with a grin, then held onto the console.

The TARDIS knew what to do; she immediately closed her doors and began to dematerialize.

Androliss calmed some when the Doctor came to her and held her hand. She choked out a sob and told the Doctor with a shuddering breath, regeneration energy swirling around her head to toe, "I d-don't want to change!" she gasped, startled when her surroundings began to change, as the TARDIS materialized around her and the Doctor.

The Doctor winced at these words, almost an echo of what she herself had said once. Squeezing the girl's hand gently, she responded:

"I know you're scared, I was too. But you will feel better afterwards. I won't leave you, I will be here every step of the way."

The TARDIS ensured they were in an area that could contain the Time Lady's regeneration energy and dematerialized from the hospital room.

Androliss nodded subtly and wept; she calmed some at the assurance that the Doctor would be there with her every step of the way. It made her feel safe. She drew in a couple of short, panicked breaths before the regeneration energy swallowed her small form.

Regeneration energy blasted from her small form and swirled around the room, and soon, her long, straight, blonde locks turned to medium-length, light-brown curls, and her hazel hues turned into brilliant blue.

The Doctor had taken a step back as the girl regenerated, but moved forward when the even was over. Once Spain, she took her hand. She knew from experience that regeneration always went better with someone there.

Androliss drew in a shaky breath and looked up to the Doctor with the sweetest blue eyes. "Doctor...?" She put a hand over her mouth, surprised by the different voice that came from her. Androliss then placed her hand over one of her hearts, pleasantly surprised to find both hearts beating strong.

Androliss lifted her hand to touch her brand-new curls. She'd always wanted curls... that made having to change a bit less upsetting. Her teeth felt different, her ears, too. She was slightly smaller than her previous incarnation, and the clothes she'd worn from home were bigger on her.

Jack peered around the corner, curious, and he stepped out when he saw that Androliss' regeneration was over.

Androliss thought about that breathed deeply, then nodded quietly. It had been so long since she'd felt strong and healthy and could breathe so deeply. She was only tired now. "Mhm... I'm better now." she told the Doctor. "I was sick for a long time."

Jack nodded at the Doctor and came closer. "Good." he said warmly, "You were in pretty rough shape."

"You still look very tired, best to have a sleep. I have plenty of empty bedrooms in my TARDIS."

Androliss nodded slowly and held onto the Doctor's arm as she stood on wobbly legs. She went quiet as she heard the familiar word TARDIS, and she tilted her head curiously. As she thought about it, she recalled the last time that she was on board a TARDIS. It had been hundreds, if not a thousand or more years since then.

Androliss said with a soft, though sad smile, "Oh... My Papa had a TARDIS."

Jack wasn't sure if he liked the sound of that, and he looked to the Doctor. He was aware that there was more than one TARDIS out there. He just hoped this "Papa" wasn't bad news. Though, he was more focused on her.

The Doctor's eyes became more alert as she said slowly:

"Did he now? I hope you hear about it later. I'm sure his was tidier than mine!"

Giving Jack a look that told him to stay where he was, the Doctor led the young girl deeper into the TARDIS and towards an empty bedroom.
