Don't swing and miss

Jonesville Middle School's girls' softball team had been fairly bad for years now. It had gotten to the place that winning just 3 or 4 games in a whole season was considered to be a "good" season. It wasn't that the school had worse facilities or anything that should make them so much worse than all the other teams, but somehow, this school always finished as one of the worst teams in the whole state.


A new season was starting, and all the girls joining or coming back to the team this year were told that punishments could be handed out for very poor performance, but they weren't told what those punishments could be! It's now the first official practice of the year, and things are starting off very poorly. They have blue and white uniforms, which all of them are wearing today.



13 year old Katie Wilson, a girl with red hair and freckles, doesn't even really want to be there. She keeps getting distracted during the game or trying to engage other girls in conversation, and when she does so, she sometimes misses easy catches that she really should have made.


14 year old Laura Gonzalez is far more dedicated, but when they decide to play a practice game, she gets way too aggressive and shoves a few other girls to the ground when they were just trying to cover their bases. Laura is not taller than most of the other girls, but she has matured a bit faster than most of them, and has figured out how to throw her weight around and make it hurt! Some of the things she does would clearly get called out by an umpire in an actual game situation!


14 year old Jess Aoki has medium-length black hair she keeps tied up in a pony tail, and is pleased at how cute she looks in her baseball uniform. Unfortunately though, she's less sure of her pitching abilities. She keeps changing up her mind on how to throw at the last second, and ignores the coach's instructions on what she as the pitcher should do, as she second guesses him.


Many other girls on the team have problems of their own, but these 3 were definitely stand outs as "problematic" in the first practice. The 3 of them stand in front of Coach Blair as they expect he'll reprimand them and send them home.

As the 3 girls began to cause their own problems individually, Coach Blair stood there with hands on his hips and a whistle in his mouth. If he knew this job would go as poorly as it’s going, he perhaps would have reconsidered taking this job from his older sister, who was the old coach at the school but gave it up after she got pregnant. There’s one thing for sure, these girls that were called to the side while the rest of the team did drills are problematic, even if they are doing it unintentionally. They can’t even get through practice without incident. “I can’t believe you 3 are still doing the same dumb crap that you did when I first got the job!” He yelled, running a hand through his short brown hair. He’s only 25 and he’s already balding and he blames this job. “I’m 5 seconds away from just walking out and letting someone else deal with this.”

Katie's eyes grew wide. Her own dad had a job that required him to work extra hours on Sundays, but he had a very flexible schedule on weekdays, and he had talked about becoming a volunteer coach for her school a few times before. She worried that if Coach Blair quit, her own dad would become the coach and he would be on her case non-stop! For the first time, she looked like she cared as she said, "Aw, Coach Blair, don't be like that! We'll be better next time!"


Laura Gonzalez was also thinking about the next interim coach of the team, but she was actually thinking about her big brother, Patricio. Patricio had recently graduated from high school, but wasn't really sure what to do with his life yet. He was a pretty good baseball player, but he hadn't managed to get a pro offer or scholarship yet. Patricio had taught her most of what she knew. Patricio actually sometimes gave her one or two firm smacks on the seat of her shorts if he thought she was showing a lack of hustle out there, but he almost never spanked her for playing too rough. In fact, he encouraged it! She actually wouldn't mind if Pat became the next coach of the team. "Well, coach, you do what you've gotta do!"


Jess is actually rather fond of Coach Blair. Honestly, most teams around the league have fairly ugly coaches, and she has always been a bit secretly happy to have a cute coach. Naturally, she knows that there is a significant age difference and nothing will happen between them, but it's fun to dream. "I'm sorry, Coach Blair!" She says apologetically. "I promise I'll pitch better next time! I'll try to follow your instructions!"

The coach went over his decision and how it could affect everyone’s lives and futures as it played over in his head. He suddenly had a flashback to when he was in school and on his baseball team. After being unproductive and challenging his coaches authority, he was pulled over his coaches knee for a bare bottom spanking in front of the rest of his team. The problem is he was not given any authority to do such a punishment to his team, the most the parents and staff would think he would do is make them run sprints, do push-ups and such. But he even surprised himself with what he was about to say. “I think you three need to learn discipline and learn it the hard way. So who wants to be the first to demonstrate what your punishment will be?

Katie definitely hoped that she could avoid any sort of punishment. She didn't know how the coach planned to give out punishments, but she was quite sure she didn't want any! Jess wanted the coach to like her, and she wanted to make him happy, but she was still a bit too nervous to volunteer to go first.


Laura stepped forward and said, "I'll go first! I know a thing or two about discipline! You're gonna be sorry you didn't go first, Katie and Jess! I'm gonna make you look silly when I run around the field faster than you ever could!" Laura expected that their punishment would be something like running laps around the field. That wasn't a punishment that particularly bothered her though, in fact, she generally took that as more of a challenge and a way to make the other girls look slow. She confidently stepped right up in front of their coach.

Unfortunately for Laura, Coach Blair was surely going to give her a punishment he was sure she wouldn’t see coming. The instant she stepped to him, he sat down and bent her over his lap, presenting her backside to the rest of the girls. “Let’s see how long you remain eager about going first.” He said as he raised his hand and brought his palm down right on the middle of the seat of her pants

Laura can rarely string 2 weeks together without getting spanked by somebody, so spankings are not a terribly rare occurrence for her. In fact, her own brothers sometimes gave her a few quick swats to the butt for something baseball related, but that certainly isn't a full spanking! Most of all though, she hadn't expected to get a spanking from Coach Blair! She remembered being told many times that she had to respect the coach's authority, and there could be consequences for not obeying them, she just hadn't expected a spanking from the coach himself!


She panicked and wiggled slightly as she went over the coach's lap and felt the first spank, but as soon as she realized what was happening, she made a competition out of it. Everything is a competition to her. She determined that she would take the spanking better and with fewer tears than any of her teammates. She forced herself to stop wiggling and try to take the spanking with some measure of dignity.


Katie gets spanked sometimes, but not quite as often as Laura. Her dad sometimes whips her butt with a belt. She is always spanked in private though, never in front of a lot of people, and NEVER by anyone outside of her family. She instantly becomes very nervous when she sees what the coach is doing! She takes a few steps back.


Jess hasn't been spanked in a little over a year. From time to time, her mom still threatens a spanking or gives her a quick whack over the seat of a skirt, but Jess almost always gets good grades, does her chores, never swears, and never fights. The thing is, she's become so wrapped up in her own head, she is constantly second-guessing herself. She is quite fearful to see what his happening to Laura, but at the same time, there's a part of her that's weirdly excited that she's finally going to get it again! Sometimes she's tired of always being "the good girl".

“You three have caused me so much trouble during my time as your coach, I’m not going to tolerate it anymore! When you mess up or act out, you can look forward to a trip over my knee!” Coach Blair said as he spanked, alternating between the cheeks as she spanked the seat of her baseball pants. With the pants being so naturally tight, it made each smack have more impact than it would on jeans or even short. “And you two better be paying attention because you’re next!”

Jess' eyes were glued to the seat of Laura's pants. She barely even reacted to what the coach said. She already knew it was true. Her head was still full of turmoil. Katie continued to slowly back up and said, "I... didn't know what the stakes were, Coach Blair. Throw me some more balls, I promise I'll do better this time! Please give me another chance!" This was Katie's first year with the team, but deep down she knew that still wasn't an excuse for lack of effort.


Laura continued to grit her teeth and try to act nonchalant about her spanking. This definitely hurt a good deal more than the few quick swats her brothers sometimes gave her. She grunted at a good solid smack on one of her cheeks and growled, "Ow, don't be such a baby, Katie! OW!" She didn't know how much of this she could take herself, though!

You made your bed, now you have to lay in it.” The coach told the other girls as he spanked their friend, happy with how little she has been complaining. After a few more minutes of nonstop spanking, he stood her up and began to undo her baseball pants.
