Steve stood up, done and stormed after his little charge. "Tony, you are pushing it." He whispered sternly, landing two swats this time, on the undercurve. "You will be polite or you will meet the brush before the day is out. I don't care if you're sore." He hissed softly and entered the tower with him.

An hour or so later, Bruce's eyes fluttered open and he realized he had been sleeping on top of Thor. "Oh! I-I'm s-so sorry! I didn't mean to-And I didn't know you were here!" He stuttered, not sure what to do or what to say.

Tony turned and frowned before then yelping and whimpering when Steve gave him two hard swats, "Owww will you STOP hitting me!" he frowned and sighed, "Why do you still need to be here, I'm sure you have a life." he pointed out, frowning at the mention of a brush, "I'd rather not..."

Thor chuckled and shook his head, "It is alright, I do not mind laying here with you." he said calmly and ran his fingers through his dark curls.

"I'm not hitting you, I'm spanking you." Steve corrected, and landed another swat for good measure. "My life can be put on hold, and I'm here because I care enough about you to stick with you instead of getting frustrated." He said, voice stern. "You're spiraling out of control Tony, and you do need an anchor whether it be me or someone else."

"T-Thanks Thor." He sighed, relaxing as his hair was petted and he leaned back again. "A-Are you going to spank me again?" He asked. "In the future?"

"OW! Stop it!" Tony yelped and rubbed, feeling tears sting his eyes again. "I am not outta control and I don't need a damn baby sitter!" he frowned, wiping at the tears in his eyes. "I'm not a kid!"

Thor chuckled and continued to pet him, "Perhaps if you are naughty, then I will spank your naughty bottom again." he answered and rubbed said naughty bottom gently.

"No Tony, you aren't a kid. You just behave like one, and so I will treat you like one until you can prove to me you can control yourself." Steve said gently, but sternly. "What do you call destroying a good part of New York City? Fun? Well it isn't." He finished, eyes holding Tony's with out wavering.

Bruce turned a bright pink color and shook his head. "I-I won't b-be bad again Thor...I-I've learned my lesson." He promised, enjoying the petting and relaxing once again.

Tony frowned and crossed his arms over his chest, trying to prove that Steve did not intimidate him even though that was definitely not the truth. "I never said it was fun, necessary yes." he answered and glared at the taller blonde, "And I do not behave like a child, no child has the intellect that I have." he answered and then growled, "You're assistance is not required!" he snapped at him before storming off into the building and heading down to the lab.

Thor chuckled at the change of colour on his cheeks. "I have faith in you." he answered though he knew Bruce wouldn't always behave. "You may sleep if you wish to." he said softly, smiling at the sleepy Doctor.

Steve watched him storm off angrily, and decided to let Tony have some time alone to collect his thoughts. "JARVIS, if Tony tries to do something stupid, please let me know." He said before heading into the kitchen to find something to eat. He sat down at the table and began to munch on cereal he'd found with the Avengers logo on it.

"Sleep? "Don' need sleep." Bruce muttered before sleep did eventually claim the exhausted man. He passed out on top of Thor once again, and began to use him as a pillow.

"Yes sir." Jarvis answered affirmatively and showed Steve a camera of what Tony was doing. The man was busy away with his robotics, and dancing to one of his favorite songs while he worked screwing everything into place.

"Okay, let's test this bad boy out." Tony smirked, injecting his arm with magnetic pulses and then flexing it out, hissing in pain as the armor clamped around it. "Yes!" he cheered triumphantly and then did the same with his leg, only his leg armor flew at his chest and knocked him to the ground. "Okay....needs a little tweaking." he coughed after getting his breath back.


Thor smiled fondly and let his thick fingers travel through the forest of dark curls atop of Bruce's head, it was nice to have someone to care for again. "Adorable." he whispered and pulled the blankets over the both of them carefully so as not to wake the sleeping Doctor.

Steve snorted at the camera feed and continued eating. He blinked when he saw the needle and winced when Tony got knocked to the ground by his disembodied leg armor. "JARVIS, is that safe?" He asked, slightly concerned.

Bruce mumbled something when blankets were drawn over him, and he turned so his cheeks were pressed against Thor's chest. One of Bruce's hands took ahold of Thor's hair and refused to let go.

"I can not confirm sir, eighty percent of what Mr Stark does is unsafe." JARVIS answered.

Tony got up on his feet and rubbed his torso where the armor flew into him. "Come on, let's get this right." he said, flexing his leg and finally the armor went to where it was supposed to. "Yes!" he grinned and continued to dance about the room to the music, flexing each part of his body as a signal for the armor to attach to him. All went well until it came to the helmet and that knocked him back on his sore backside. "Ow...okay....that was just mean." he sighed.

Thor smiled fondly once more and chuckled, perhaps when Bruce woke up he would pull up his pants since it seemed mean to wake him for the time being and in truth he was content to rub the soft bum and soothe the sting for the man while he slept anyway. Content, the large God closed his eyes and fell asleep there too, with Bruce.
