Thats a codec problem, you can only decode the audio and not the video - not to mention your using Windows Media Player (The really big, ugly, clunky, ad-filled horrible one that helps Bill Gates kill kittens - never use that for videos, most people use it for MP3s only, or they don't use it at all) I assume that because you've got "ambience" and stuff showing - classic sign of no codecs.
There's a codec pack located in the downloads - it's the first one at the top.
Download and install that - all your video problems solved in a heartbeat, use media player classic for viewing video - I've yet to find something it can't play.
