Herne giggled. "What's that?" He was pointing to what looked alot like wolf ear, except... stuffed. "It that a little wolf?" The boy had a genuine smile on, and, despite the laugh, he wasn't trying to give Karuk a hard time about it, he was just curious.

Glimm and Krystal looked down at the two young dragons in front of them. Glimm smiled a little. "How can we help you, young Polos?" he asked, bringing his head close to the ground.

The dragon bowed his head slightly, still in human form.

"I would barter, Lord Dragon." Polos said simply. "What price do you put on my sister's lifedebt?"

Glimm raised an eyebrow. "Hmm? A servant is a servant... though if she would shut up now and then it would be nice." He shuffled a little. "I want to know, is it her total freedom you bargain for? I will not grant her total freedom by any means."

[Peeker]

"My Lord, if you need a servant, you have two others willing and able to work under your thrall... I would grant you full service of my own horde, small though it may be... and..." Polos frowned. He'd spoken long with his parents before setting out - how valuable was his sister? He'd laughed at the question. Now, he understood why they had brought it up. "I would pledge my service, to work alongside my sister until whatever task you have set for her to complete is done."

The dragon straightened. He'd put it all on the table. Literally. His life and his possessions - there was nothing else he could give them.

Glimm examined the straight young dragon for a moment. "Hmmm... Polos... I want nothing to do with your hoard. I am not interested in taking from fellow dragons." He shot Madre a small look as he said this. "As to the other side of the deal. You realize what you are offering? If we seal this agreement, you are as much in our servitude as your sister until you are released."

[Peeker]

"My sister must be free." He said plainly. Obviously, he wasn't thinking this through - maybe the concept of a spanking still wasn't clear to him - he certainly had never had one - or maybe it was just because this was one more deal he had to make, and he loved his sister that much. Either way, his thoughts weren't clear - even if his heart was.

Glimm smiled at him. "You are either very stupid or very kind. Very well, you will serve Krystal and I with your sister. Your life debt will be halfed, up soon as well... anfterwards, I shall give you a little something to add to your own hoard and in the meantime, I will ensure that what little you hold now will be kept safe from theives and other dragons."

[Peeker]

Polos bowed deeply. "My thanks, Lord Dragon..." He sighed, feeling something heavy come over him. "Polos... is at your service."

It was servanthood. It did not agree with Polos in the least.

Glimm nodded. "Very good. Madre? Please show Polos how to correctly sort our hord and return to the task at hand."
