It's Not Easy Owning a Cat ((For cp 2000))

People from time to time would always think of owning a pet at some point. Coming to get one is the tricky part. Some go to pet stores to pick out a cuddling animal. Other will go tot he pound to give one a second chance in life. There are even some people that will breed certain breeds to make some cash. Last way to get one is that some would leave a poor little animal on the street in a box. Like a certain little kitten that was in sitting in a box with the words 'Free kitten, take at your own risk' written on one of the flaps. Though this kitten was different from others you would see. For this kitten looked human to.

Inside was a little girl. She was only two feet tall, and skinny from a lack of food. There was a food bowl in the box, but it was emptied. Most likely she ate whatever was inside. Her hair was short messy red with cat ears and tail to match. Wearing a shirt that was more of a dress to her small frame. Her blue eyes peek out from the box and watched as people walked pass her. Letting out small mews to get someone to look at her. Maybe even take her home.

Walking along the road at that moment, was a young, dark haired man, wearing a long black winter coat and a dark blue scarf wrapped round his neck. He was rather tall, with handsome features, and pair of dark green eyes that were aimed dead ahead, glad to be heading home. It had been far to long since he had had a break from his job, and now, he was going to get a three month vacation, much to his relief.

However, his concentration on striding home was soon broken when he heard a small sound to his left, causing him to stop in his place. After turning, he spotted a small head with what looked like ginger cat ears on top, as well as a pair of blue eyes staring at him from within a cardboard box. Curious, he walked over and looked inside, seeing the little girl sitting there, shivering from the cold. "Hello there" he said softly, reaching down on instinct and lifting the girl up to sit in his arm, "what are you doing out here? You're going to catch your death".

As the human walks up to her, she lets out a louder mew to let him know that she was down on the ground int he box. As he lifts her up, he can feel that she was very light. She could go flying if the wind was strong enough like that one pig character from a cartoon. When asked what she was doing out here. she looks up in his eyes with her big blue puppy eyes. "My master didn't want me anymore and put me out here." she tells him and sniffles. "I'm hungrwy and have no food." she said and lets out a tiny sneeze. Moving closer to his warmer body and snuggled against him. "It's scarwy out here alone."

Looking down at the girl the man was now in a bit of a problem. He had never looked after a child before, let alone a neko, and wouldn't know what to do even for one night. On the other hand, he couldn't just leave her here alone, as she'd most likely starve, if the cold didn't get to her first. Sighing a little, he tucked the small girl into his jacket to keep her warm, and began to continue walking. "Come on" he said, "Let's get you somewhere warm, and see about getting you something to eat".

She made herself comfy inside the man's jacket as he takes her to his place to get her something to eat. "Yay! Thank you Mister!" she said happily and snuggled against him to make herself comfy. Letting out a small purr that was vibrating against his chest. "I'm Sienna by the way." she said with a smile on her face. Showing off her teeth and little fangs.

As the man continued to make his way towards his home, he looked down at the girls little head, popping out from within his jacket. "Nice to meet you Sienna" he said, giving her a small smile as he kept on walking, "I'm Jack". Eventually, he reached the front door of his house, walking inside and setting the small girl down on her own two feet.

She giggled when he told her his name. "I shall call you Jack-Jack!" she said in a playful tone. When they finally reached his place. Once she was taken out of his jacket and placed on the ground. She looks around with a curious look on her face. Then dashes off to wonder around the place. First going tot eh kitchen and sees the fridge. Looking at it and then tries to open it herself, but was to short to reach the handle.

As soon as the small girl began running around the house, Jack began to follow her, curious to see what she would be getting up to. Once she reached the fridge, he suddenly remembered that she was most likely hungry, as it did not look like she had had a decent meal in a good long while. "Hold on now" he said, lifting the girl up and sitting her on the kitchen counter, "first I've got to think about what to feed you". He was unsure what nekos ate, and didn't want to give the child something that could be potentially harmful.

She lets out a small mew as she was suddenly lifted up from the ground then was placed on the counter by Jack. Who tells her to wait and has to think what to feed her. "Food!" she whines. "I wanna eat food!" she said and mews over and over again in a high pitch tone. Like any cat would do to get their person's focus so that they can feed them.

Seeing the girls distress, Jack thought hard, thinking what it as that he heard nekos ate. Finally, he remembered reading that neko children liked to be fed milk for their meals, just like any cat would. With that in mind, he went to the fridge to get some milk, before looking through the cupboards and finding an old baby bottle, filling it up and returning to the girl. "Here we go" he said, lifting her into his arms and sitting down at the table, pointing the bottle at her once he did, "I've got some yummy milk for you".
