Default Educating the Lazy (For MuffinNinja)

It was a warm and beautiful day in the tropical beach city. Located close to the equator. Meaning that it was sunny all the time. A great place to vacation at and a better place to live. The beach sand was white, the water was so clear and blue. Everyone was having a good time laying around sun bathing, building sand castles, lifting weights, playing volleyball and most of all. Playing in the water. One had had the swimmers. While the other had the local surfers. Right now there was one local surfer out catching some waves and was a pro.

His name is Kahewai Goodman. He was still in his early twenty's. He stood at 6'5". He was in excellent shape with a little muscle. His skin was a bit tanned from all the times that he spent outdoors. With messy long curly blond hair with brown streaks and dark green eyes. Wearing bright blue swim shorts with white shark print on the side. Riding on a nine foot longboard that had a retro feeling to it. Made from dark wood and had wave prints on it.

People call him the beach bum. For it seems that he never leaves. Though what they didn't know was that there was more to him then meets the eye. Mostly that someone to calm and laid back as him was in a relationship with a stiff man. While he could be to much for him. He liked him for who he was. Coming back from the water. He stuck his board into the sand and sighed with bliss. "Totally awesome day to ride the waves." he said to himself with a smile on his face. Wondering where his other half was.

Ah, the sun. This is where Ricky thrived best, the rays tanned his skin and the sun seemed to make his wavy, short cut, mop of brown hair look sexier than ever. But Ricky, however much of a show-off he was had one person on his mind and one person only. He yawned as he watched said person climb out of the water, his shocking blue eyes surveying the man's every step.

He rubbed his chin slightly, his fingers greeted with a prominent bit of stubble covering the area. He rose to his feet, fully standing at 6'6. It took him a long time to find someone of his height range, dating other people always ended midget jokes. He scratched the side of his thighs, donning a pair of white and yellow striped swim shorts. He approached Kahewai and smiled at him. "You manage a lot better out there than'a I would." He spoke, his voice lightly coated in an Italian accent. He grinned at the other man, his smile making maybe, 7 girls in the background faint.

He watched the man that he was thinking of coming out of the water. Looking good as ever. As he comes over and told him that he was good on the board. He laughed with a cheeky grin on his face. "I've been doing this since a was a little boy, dude." he tells him in a cocky way. He was really good. He has enter competitions and had all the trophies, ribbons and plaques all over his place. sually he surfs for fun, but he enters for the money. That was his major income.

Seeing the girls faint, he laughed for he thought that it was funny. He gets the same reaction when he out in the water doing his tricks. Some people say he is the son of Neptune. Though he tells people that he just loves being in the ocean. It was his second home. Kahewai puts an arm around Ricky. "Hey, some of my surfing buddies and I are gonna go to the watering hole. Jumping off the cliffs into the water. You should come."

"I know, I know! But'a still, you're very skilled!" Ricky said, returning the gesture as he let his arm come to a rest around Kahewai's shoulders. He smiled gently at his cheeky grin, it was a grin he had long since grown accustomed to. The cocky attitude in general seemed to be what got him in trouble, but Ricky handled it fine. He was fine with him surfing for his income, as long as he tried his best. The Italian man had studied at a college back home for medical sciences, mainly focusing in pediatrics. Later on, he found himself more drawn to tattoos and opened his own shop.

"Jumping off cliffs...Into water...?" Ricky asked, quirking an eyebrow at him. "That doesn't sound life threatening. Not dangerous at all, noooo." He remarked sarcastically. All of his sternness came out of love and worry, he just had a hard time expressing him.

The watering hole was a spot that locals only know. For if you don't follow the right path, you end up getting lost in the forest. Tourists had tried and most have to be rescue or turn up missing. But if you do find it. People go there to swim or to jump off the cliff which was actually very dangerous. Many go to the hospital for broken bones from jumping off or worse. The place was actually off limits, but the young and stupid still go there.

"I know right. It's like riding on the calm waves." he tells him with a smile on his face. "Me and mu buds are gonna try to break the record for the highest dive. The last one to try hit a rock and broke his neck. They got to him before he surf his way into heaven, but he was paralyzed from the neck down after that." he tells him. That accident was on the news and in the papers for a couple of days. "But don't worry. I won't end up like that."

Ricky seemed to pause as he listened to this, his arm still wrapped around the mans shoulders. "Of course that won't happen to you...because'a you aren't going." He said, using his shoulders to propel him into the other direction. "You know I am all about you going and having fun, yes? But that's only if you aren't doing something life threatening." He said, walking along the beach, his arm still guiding him.

"Besides...I asked you to vacuum today? I went home before I came here and the vacuum was out but it hadn't been used. Explain that one, will you?" He asked, surveying Kahewai with a stern glance.

"Say what now?" he asked. Just before he was pushed the other way. Getting that he wasn't gonna get to go with his buddies with his watering hole. He had a frown on his face. As Ricky told him that he was okay with him having fun and all, but if it's life threatening. He had to put his foot down. This is one thing he didn't like about him. But in away since he been going out with him. His injury count had went down dramatically. At the same time he still wants to do the dangerous stuff. "Come on, man. All my buddies are gonna go." he tells him with a smile on his face.

Mentioning the vacuum chore that he was suppose to do today. He looks away from the glance he knows that he was giving him. "Well...I was about to to it. But the weather man talked about the wind power and it was nice to surfing. The waves were calling me. I never turn away from their call, dude." he tells him. "I was gonna going to do it when I got back, Ricky."

"Yes, but obviously your buddies don't have anyone worried about you DYING." He stressed, sighing. "I know you're a daredevil, and you live to worry me; but I can't be worrying about you dying on a rock." He said, poking his hip gently. "If one guy broke his neck, who's'a to say that you won't break yours? I can't imagine you not being able to walk around anymore, or surf?" He said, trying to pull his mind into reality.

"Mmmhm. You seem to forget you've been here a few hours and the waves didn't go anywhere." He said, pointing at the ocean. "In five minutes, if I look back at that; it'll still be here." He said, smirking. It was an adventure being in a relationship with such a free spirit, he didn't like being hard on him at times, but he knew he'd be too unsafe without him. "You know, we just had a repeat of this, from last week. Remember?"

He couldn't help but to laugh at him saying that he lives just to worry him. "I do not. You just need to loosen up. We all got but one life. We shall live it to the fullest, bro." he tells him with a big grin on his face. Grunting as he was piked on the hop. Looking at him as he tells him that if a person broke their neck. The chances of him breaking his were high. That he couldn't see him not moving or surfing. "Yeah It would be a total bummer if I can't surf." he said with a sad sigh. For he loved the waves more then anything. Well except for Ricky.

As his lover talked about the waves still there as to when he was asked to vacuum the place up. Pointing out tot he water. He turned his head to it,then back at the other male. "You don't understand the weather effect the power of the ways. If it sunny with no wind, then the waters are still. If the winds are going 60mph, then the waves are sick and fun to ride. I can't miss up on a chance." he tells him.

Mentioning last week. He remember and blushed. "Heh, don't remind me." he said as he reached towards his backside and rubbed his trunks covered bottom. Since he had started the relationship with this guy. It had been different then the way he had lived through his life. No one really cared for his safety and was pretty much free to do anything he wanted. But he can't really do that anymore with Ricky. Other wise he gets into some serious trouble. But that doesn't mean he will bend to his will. Though he might be forced to bend over his lap.

"Look, when I get back from the watering hole, tonight. I promise you that I will do it."

"I'm fine with loosening up! I am loose!" Ricky said, shrugging his shoulder. "It would be more than a bummer, you wouldn't be able to do much of anything." Ricky said, sighing as Kahewai explained the waves to him. "I'm just saying, it would have taken you ten minutes. Maybe less!" He said, quirking an eyebrow. "You have to remember other things in ADDITION to surfing." He said with a smirk.

"In one ear and out of the other." Ricky said, shaking his head. "It'd be different if you all were doing something else...anything else. But I don't want you jumping off of a cliff." He said, sighing. "I'm sorry that you dying just doesn't sit well with me." He said, kissing his cheek and chuckling. "You can hang out with your friends all you like, but I don't want you to be the next person in the newspaper." He said, looking at him with a serious expression.
