Re: Educating the Lazy (For MuffinNinja)
He didn't even notice that they arrived home. He thought that they were still on the road. As the car door open and Ricky asked if he can walk. He looks at him and nods his head. "Yeah...I can walk." he tells him. removing the seat belt and gets out. He stumbles a little, but catches his balance. He stood by the door that lead into the house waiting for Ricky. "The painkillers are not that even strong. Just takes the edge off." he tells him. Once he closed the door the car and came up. He pulled out the keys to the house and opened the door for the two of them.
Kahewai walked in first and went into the kitchen. Getting himself a glass of water. Gulping it down like he haven't have a drink in days. "So...sorry for not listening to you."

Re: Educating the Lazy (For MuffinNinja)
Ricky sighed, shutting the door behind him as he followed him inside. He leaned against a counter in the kitchen and surveyed him gently. "I appreciate the apology, but you know just as well as I do what has to happen." He said, crossing his arms slightly. He knew he was a bit out of it, he could tell by the look in his eye. "But I want you to lay down for a bit and rest. It's been a long night and you need to remember everything clearly because I want an explanation. He said, coming over and wrapping his arms around him gently, avoiding the recently sutured areas.
"You just had me real worried. " He said, and that was all he needed to.

Re: Educating the Lazy (For MuffinNinja)
He knew that with all the apologies in the world. There was no escape from the wrath of his plum on his backside. Though he thought that he was going to to it the moment they got home. Him grabbing his hand, dragging him over to the couch, thrown over his lap and then spanked til his bottom was red as a cooked crab. Yet Ricky told him that he wanted him to lay down for awhile. Til the drugs wear off. For he wanted him to be there mentally for when it happens.
Then he felt his arms being wrapped around his waist. As he tells him that he had him really worried. Letting out a sigh of guilt. "I know, I just like playing hard." he tells him as he laid his head against his shoulder. Kissing him on the jaw line. "I'm gonna lay on the hammock til the drugs wear off." he tells him. Normally he would ask if he wanted to lay with him. But sometimes he needed his alone time to. So he set the emptied glass down by the sink and goes out to the patio.
The patio had a wonderful view of the ocean. Just looking out of it make it seem like you were somewhere else. It was short of his spot. He had his surfboard there, a grill to cook the fish he catches now and again. For that was another thing he enjoys to do and the hammock. It was the classic net style that had a pillow on one end. Sometimes he loves sleeping out here. He slowly lay down on his back. For the was the one of the spots that wasn't hurting. Looking at the big body of water to help him relax.

Re: Educating the Lazy (For MuffinNinja)
Ricky kissed the side of his face, nodding gently. He understood his need to be alone and think for a bit. "Go ahead, I'll come get you in awhile." He said gently, letting him go out to the patio. He leaned against the counter and sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose as he got himself some water as well.
About an hour later, Ricky came outside and sat by the hammock, holding out an offering of another glass of water. "How are you feeling?" He asked gently, looking out at the water as well. He could see why he enjoyed being out here so much, the water was relaxing and it was one of the best places to clear your mind.

Re: Educating the Lazy (For MuffinNinja)
Kahewai was still looking out to the ocean when he felt some added weight on the hammock. He turns away from the water to look at his lover with a small smile on his face. Hearing the water moving back and forth on shore. The smell of the salt water, he was totally relaxed. Even with the event that was coming up in his mind. He sees the glass of water and takes it. "Thanks, bro." he said and drank it as he was laying down.
When asked how he was feeling. He looks at him and sighed. He could lie and tell him that he was still feeling the effects of the drugs, but that would just make things worse. "The painkillers worn off. My mind is totally cleared and can feel my stitches now. Ouch they hurt." he said and chuckled. "Thank to Mama blue." she tells him. That's what he calls the sea sometimes. For he likes to think of the water as his mother.
It was well known for the locals that he was found on shore on a raft when he was just a baby. He never had a family of his own. That's why a lot of people think he is reckless. Is because he never had anyone telling him no or firm like parents. Until he met Ricky, but never sees him as a father type. Just a loving boyfriend who worries to much.

Re: Educating the Lazy (For MuffinNinja)
"You're welcome." He said, responding to this thanks and smiling. "I know they hurt, they looked worse than they feel I'm sure." He tried to reassure, resting a hand on Kahewai's knee. "You can have the next dose later so it gets rid of some of the pain." He said. The drugs seemed to have done their affect on him because he was a bit more level headed, his eyes weren't as zoned as they had been before.
"Now..." Ricky said, looking over at him with the glance he had been holding back before. The glance that showed his punishment was approaching quickly. "Wanna tell me what happened? I know you said you didn't dive, but how exactly did you tear yourself up so badly?"

Re: Educating the Lazy (For MuffinNinja)
He knew that he was gonna ask him what happen. He let out a sigh and sat up. Letting out a grunt and rubbed the mack of his next. "Well, it was me and the dudes. Having fun as always. We ate tons of junk food and drank some beers." he starts out his tale. "After drinking a few cases and swimming around. It was time to decide who was going to try to break the record of highest dive on the cliff. Of course everyone turned to me. Telling me that I should do it. I told them no because I promised you. But that were calling me chicken and triple dog dare me man. You don;t turn down a triple dog dare man. So I start making my way up." he said. Taking another sip of his water before he continued.
"So there I was climbing my way up. With the roar of the water fall right by my ear. With the force of the water coming down. Some of the water splashed over to the rocks. Making them a little slippery. I was about maybe...three stories high up when I stepped on a wet stone. Causing me to slide down. Scarping my body up and cutting on the sharp parts and boom! Hit the ground." he said. Finishing his tale as to what happened. "Next thing I know I woke up looking at the sky, blinked and I was in the hospital."

Re: Educating the Lazy (For MuffinNinja)
Ricky frowned slightly, listening to his explanation. Triple dog dare. He shook his head, hiding his smirk. He loved Kahewai with all his heart and that's why he had to do what he was about to. He took his arm gently, leading him into the house. "So you were about to jump off of the cliff anyways?" He asked, leading him into their bedroom and sitting down on the edge of the double bed they shared. He looked up at him with a stern glance.
"Kahewai, I'm really disappointed in you. It's a good thing you hadn't gotten any farther before you fell." He began, lifting his chin a few times to make sure he kept eye contact with him. "You could have lost your life, not just some of your skin."

Re: Educating the Lazy (For MuffinNinja)
The surfer followed him into the house. As he was gently pulled by his arm. "Well, yeah. Triple dog, man. Triple dog." he tells him as he was lead to the bedroom that they shared. As Ricky sat on the bed. He was looking away from him, knowi8ng that he was in serious trouble. But he was forced to look at him. As he was scolded for his action. That he was disappointed with him and that it could of end up a hole lot worse then it did. That he was lucky with ended up in scrapes then something worse.
"I know, I know. It was stupid of me." he tells him and sighed. "I'm guessing that this isn't gonna me a light one is it?"

Re: Educating the Lazy (For MuffinNinja)
Ricky shook his head as he was asked, sighing. "I'm afraid not. This is too serious for a light one." He said, taking his hand and pulling him over his lap gently. He watched the location of his stitches, placing him so that if he squirmed; the areas wouldn't rub against his leg or the bed and cause him any more pain.
He used one strong arm to remain on his lower back, keeping him in place as the other went ahead and pulled his shorts down to his knees.
(Do you find belts too harsh? c: I always ask, just in case))
