Kai smiled when Ryo took his hand, staying close to his master as the man lead him through the halls and he looked around curiously now that he felt safer around all the strangers. He looked up at his master again when the man told him to go ahead and order and he nodded, heading over to the window where he ordered a lot of food and then went over to sit at the table where his master was. "Aren't you going to eat?" he asked, not too keen on the idea of his master not eating anything since he figured he should be hungry too but he knew it wasn't his place to be pushy about it.

Jiro grinned when he got the surprised eep out of her but he didn't say anything he just carried her up to where his room was located and got her settled in a room of her own and he watched her go inside before heading to his own. The next morning he was up early and showered before changing into his more casual and looser training uniform. He went over to her room and started to pound on her door, "Get up girl! You've got ten seconds to get out here or I'm coming in to get you" He shouted through the door as he continued to pound impatiently on the wood, knowing it wasn't a nice way to wake her but he wanted her in the habit of getting up on her own and meeting him out here ready to train at this time.

"I did while you were in the office"Ryo said when the boy asked him about eating "I don't have to eat like you do" he said sipping a cup of coffee while he waited on the boy to finish,guiding him upstairs,just a floor below Jiro stopping in front of a empty dorm "This will be your room,I am at the end of the hallway if you need me....get some sleep we have a busy day ahead of us"

Maya groaned and rolled over onto her stomach,pulling the pillow over her head to down out the knocking,in her mind there was no reason for any creature to be awake and alert this early in the morning,especially human beings....though she questioned if Jiro was human at all

Kai nodded at Ryo's explination about dinner, glad to know that at least his master wasn't skipping it or anything and he just settled to eat his own before following the man up to an empty dorm and glanced down the hall where Ryo said his room was. "What are we doing tomorrow?" He asked, curious what his master meant by a busy day ahead of them the next day and it was making him a bit nervous actually.

Jiro waited outside her door as he knocked for the ten seconds he'd given her before opening the door and arched an eyebrow when he found that she had put a pillow over her head and was ignoring him. "Wanna play it that way huh?" Muttered, grabbing the water pitcher on a table near her bed and walked over, yanking the pillow off her head and pouring the cold water on her then stood back to watch the 'show' so to speak.

"Training and a lot if it " Ryo said giving the boy a key to the room "Get some sleep becase you are going to need as much energy as you can get" he said startung for his room at the end of the hall and heading into his room "Goodnight runt!" He called as the door shut behind him


Maya jumped as the water doused her head "What the hell!?" She yelled looking for her "Attacker" with the clear intent of hurting them,easily spotting Jiro and scowling at him "You...." She said with a snarl doing everything in her power not to attack him because she was pretty sure how that would end for her

Kai made a face when Ryo answered his question, the kid not really looking forward to a lot of training but he took the key that was handed to him and nodded when told to get some sleep. "Goodnight Master" he said, rolling his eyes at the 'runt' before he headed into the room and flopped into the bed without bothering to change clothes since he was so tired he just didn't feel like making the effort to change.

Jiro never expected her to react well to what he did but when she snarled at him and looked as if she were trying to resist attacking him that was a surprise. "Don't think about it girl, its not worth it" he warned, crossing his arms and giving her a dark look as he prepared to defend against her attacks should she actually be foolish enough to try and attack him right now.

Ryo rapped his fist against the door several times quite hard the next morning having leet him sleep a little longer then he normally would"Come on kid time to get up and get to training!" He yelled through the door


Maya scowled at him "Im not stupid....I value my hide too much to do that" she said fetching a towel from her bag and drying her hair and face off "Even if I would love to shove my foot where the sun don't shine" she grumbled making her displeasure very vocal

Kai groaned when he heard his master rapping at his door the next morning, really not wanting to get up but also not wanting to incur the man's wrath again after being spanked three times the day before so he unhappily rolled out of bed and rubbed his eyes. "I'm up, I'm up! You can quit pounding on the door now!" He called to the man, his tone irritable but no more grouchy than any other kid would be that early. He moved to the wardrobe in his room to find that there were already more of the apprentice uniforms inside though there were several sizes since the staff hadn't replaced them all with Kai's size yet and he just gabbed one that would fit and pulled it on then opened the door and joined his master, stilling rubbing sleepily at his eyes.

Jiro nodded when Maya told him that she valued her hide, that a good thing in his eyes since he'd rather not whip her butt first thing in the morning and that's what she'd earn for herself if she dared to attack him or anyone else in the order. He arched his eyebrow at her when she added her grumbled comment after that though and walked over to her to land a sharp swat to her backside. "You don't get to talk like that to me Maya, now apologize." He ordered, his tone a bit foreboding and the 'or else' was clear in it without him having to say it. He would not tolerate disrespect from the child, especially when he hadn't wanted an apprentice to begin with so he was going to get on her case a lot about that unitl she learned to behave properly with him and everyone else at the order.

"How did you sleep?" Ryo asked placing a hand on the boys shoulder And steering him towards the stairs "I imagine you are a bit hungry so lets get some breakfast then we will hit he gym,we need to get some muscles on you" he said "You can't rely on your innocence for humans who choose to help them"

Maya scowled at him "Sorry" she said bitterly "not sorry" she muttered under her breath as she grumbled "Do I atleast have time to get something to eat? I'm starving" she said pulling on the apprentice robes she found absolutely ugly.

Kai looked up at his master as the man asked how he slept, fighting a yawn as he answered with a quiet, "Fine, how about you?" since he knew that was the polite answer even though he was still tired. He nodded when asked if he was hungry and headed down to the cafeteria with his master. "What do you mean? My innocence isn't strong 'nuff to help them?" He asked curiously, not sure he liked the idea that he needed to train more before he'd be able to help people since his innocence just worked on its own last time so he expected it to do that this time too.

Jiro frowned when he heard the little girl muttering under her breath before she asked about breakfast in a tone that the man just didn't appreciate. "No, breakfast comes after training. First you're getting an attitude adjustment, come here" He ordered, moving to take a seat on her bed and pointed in front of him in a sharp gesture, expecting the girl to obey him and he would not be happy if the little one fought him right now when she was already in trouble for being a brat.

"No no,not help them to fight them" Ryo said getting a bagel and some coffee for himself "That is to say there are humans controlled either willingly or by force by some Noah" he explained "Meaning your weapons won't be able to hurt them" he said simply

"What!? I didn't even do anything!" Maya said angrily "I apologized like you wanted so you can go to hell if you think I am going to let you punish me after I did what you wanted" she said fully aware that she was coping an attitude now but in her mind she was in the right. He had said to apologize,never said she had to be honest about it.
