"You ruined it for the rest of us. You burned through all the excuses and everything before Ryugi and I even had the chance." Takashi whined, pouting a little bit. "I feel like Mom will never want you to move out. She loves you too much. You're the oldest baby." He teased a little bit, laughing when he was shoved. "You kind of are, in this community anyway. We're the kids of the largest and most dangerous yakuza in this part of Japan. We're treated like princes. Maybe not by our dad, but by everyone else." Takashi pointed out, before flushing slightly pink when Hisoka teased him. "I mean, he's still my baby brother at the end of the day, isn't he? And I don't have that bad of a temper." He muttered, slumping into his big brother.

Mitsuo chuckled softly, before ruffling his son's hair. "I am sure that we will." He agreed, before smoothing a hand over his youngest child's hair. "I know that you don't want to talk about your older brother, Ryugi, but I would like to address it. Takashi and your relationship...is tumultuous. You both are very spirited young men. But at the end of the day Son, all you have is your family."

Hisoka rolled his eyes. "Hey, be happy you didn't have to learn the hard way like I did. I saved you all the hardship so you should be thanking me." He looked off towards the stairs just trying not to stare at anything for too long. "I wish mom would let me grow up a little but I am her first child. You know how it is." He chuckled softly. He loved his mom dearly, just as much as she loved him, but he would have to leave eventually whether she liked it or not. Hisoka stared at his brother at his princess comment. "Yeah,they treat us that way because they're afraid of us more specifically, dad. You don't want to be on his bad side....also mom only treats us like princes when we're sad or hungry." He had to add that last bit. "Of course, just like you're both my baby brothers and I love you both." He wrapped his arms around Takashi and began to kiss his cheek and head. "Yeah, your temper isn't that bad, it's just your smart mouth~"

Ryugi stared at his father but nodded, pretending he knew what "tumultuous" meant. With how he and his brother bumped heads, he assumed it meant nothing good. "I know that dad, but... I want Takashi and I to get along but I dunno, Takashi is the one who doesn't like me."

"Mom's never going to let you go. You're her crown prince." Takashi teased with a small smile, leaning against his older brother. "She'll cry for weeks when you do. Dad'll have to console her. Or she'll decide she wants another baby." He snorted, before grinning slightly. "I kind of like how scared they are...they don't say anything, they don't try anything, or they know that the men that Dad has follow us would put them through a wall." Takashi laughed, running a hand through his hair as they spoke. "Dad treats us like we're his kids...and so does Mom." He tried squirming away from his older sibling, whining at the kissing. "Ugh groooooss, Hisoka!" Takashi wriggled, before smirking a bit. "I guess...maybe I ought to be nicer to him...I know he tries." The middle son sighed, yawning a bit and slumping against Hisoka. "It's late and I'm sleepy." Takashi murmured, rubbing his eyes.

"Your brother and you are both stubborn." Mitsuo said with a small smile. "You both take after your mother and I. I wouldn't say Takashi doesn't like you...I just think he doesn't know how to spend time with you. You two always devolve into fighting before you do anything." He chuckled in spite of himself. "Your uncle and I were the same."

"Yeah, you're probably right," Hisoka said with a small chuckle. "If I move out, mom is moving right in with me." In all honesty, that probably wouldn't have been so bad, mother's cooking and love and all he has to do is keep tidy and come home alive. He could do that. "Mom can NOT have another baby...with our luck, it'll be another brother. I have had enough." He kept his brother close before finally pulling back. "Fine, I'll let you go, you big baby. You know, one day, you're gonna be wishing that I give you big brother kisses, but whatever. Let's start calling it a night and then we can see what tomorrow brings....you want me to tuck you in?"

Ryugi looked up at his father and gave a small nod. "Well...I guess that makes sense." It wasn't as though the two spent a whole bunch of time together besides walking to school and when they were home, Ryugi was in his room and Takashi was more than likely with Hisoka and when the two were together...they were fighting. "Really, you and Uncle use to fight? You probably kicked his butt all the time, didn't you?" Mitsuo seemed like he probably could.

"You know she would. She'd miss you too much." Takashi agreed with a smirk on his face, already imagining their mother dragging a suitcase right along with Hisoka. "Maybe because Dad started wishing for boys, the gods decided he should be granted his wish...and then they had three." He snorted, before rolling his eyes at Hisoka's sappiness. "Yeah, yeah...I probably will. You're such a sap. How you managed to become part of the yakuza I'll never know." Takashi teased, before considering his older brother's offer. "You could come sit with me for a little longer. I'm a bit old to be tucked into bed." He smirked, tossing an arm around Hisoka's shoulder and sighing. "It's not fair that you're so tall...and Dad's even taller! Where did my height genes go?"

"Oh, I was merciless to your uncle." Mitsuo chuckled in spite of himself. "I tortured the man, from the moment he could speak, I was tormenting him." He hadn't been the nicest of older brothers, but when it came down to it, Mitsuo was always going to be protective of his family. "I think that I didn't know how to relate to him. He's four years younger, and always seemed to be interfering with me...truly, I wish I could change how long it look me to realize how much I cared for him. The love between brothers runs deeper than you realize, my son. Don't forget that."

Hisoka chuckled, just imagining his mother moving in with him. It was still very nice, but hilarious. "Maybe I should just go and get married already... Then you and Ryugi will tear each other apart without me." He smirked some. "I have to be sappy Takashi." He picked him up bridal style. "With the job I'm going to have to be responsible for, I need to get all of my sappiness out at home. If I don't, I may go crazy and you don't want that...also, being tall ain't all that. You're pretty average..your mom's height." He snickered and started up the stairs towards his brother's room. "I'll hang out with you for a little while." He gently kicked the door open and walked over to his brother's bed and plopped him down. "Get cozy Taki."

Ryugi looked his father up and down. After taking a nice long look at his father, he did look like someone who would pick on his little brother, kinda like Takashi. "Wow, well, that kinda sounds like me and Takashi." He didn't want to have a bad relationship with his big brother, but sometimes he could be so annoying. "I guess I can be a little annoying, but don't worry dad, I won't forget. Blood is thicker than water, right?" He yawned softly and rubbed his eyes. "Man, I'm kinda sleepy dad, I should probably go to bed, we're still hanging out tomorrow right?"

"Hey, Dad said I still had a chance to grow a little more." Takashi muttered with a small point. It wasn't like his mother was short, but she definitely was nowhere near as tall as their father. "I guess we couldn't have a sappy yakuza boss, huh?" He smirked, snuggling against his brother and not bothering to complain about being carried. "I gotta start working out or something...I couldn't carry Ryugi up the stairs." Takashi muttered, before stretching contently and settling under the warm covers. He was exhausted, and being in bed just made things so much harder. "...are you doing something with Dad tomorrow?" Takashi asked after a moment, glancing over to his elder sibling. He understood that as the heir to the yakuza, a lot of Hisoka's time was absorbed into working with their father.

"It does. I think it tends to run in the family." Mitsuo chuckled softly, smoothing a hand over his youngest son's hair. "I think it will get easier as you both grow...differences shrink when you start working together. Even if you decide you don't want to join the yakuza, I think maturity helps." He stood up, pressing a fond kiss to the top of his son's forehead. "Sleep. We will decide on what to do together tomorrow." Mitsuo promised, moving the blanket back and motioning for Ryugi to crawl into the warmth. "Just try not to sleep until noon, hm Ryu?" He teased, ruffling the boy's hair again.

"Yeah, you have one more year. Once you reach 18 you are done growing so if you don't get big by then, you're destined for being this size." He said with a small chuckle. "Dad kinda makes me work out because he wants me to be able to defend myself without a gun...but god! I hate wrestling with that man. He's ruthless. Once you go through that, you'll be able to carry Ryugi up the stairs and down...and honestly, you're kinda light." Hisoka walked over to the bed and sat back. "I don't know yet, he hasn't told me. Why, did you wanna hang out or something?"

Ryugi smiled some, it was nice to see his father's affectionate side. It was rare at times, considering he was a yakuza boss and he had to be firm. "Yeah, maybe Takashi will get off his high horse." He snickered some before yawning and moving to lay down his bed once his father pulled the blanket down. He got comfortable and gently hugged his pillow, a habit he had. "I'm not going to sleep until noon dad, promise." He fixed his hair some, not that it'd matter later tonight. "Goodnight dad, I love you...tell mom I said goodnight?"

"I'll look ridiculous if I don't grow more. You 'n Dad are so tall...if Ryugi starts getting taller then I'm going to have to move." Takashi muttered, lamenting his somewhat small stature. "Maybe I should start coming too...I look like a shrimp." He sighed, looking down at his lanky torso. Takashi wasn't bony, but he wasn't muscular like his father and older brother either. "Dad's always been like that. He never let us win, even as kids." The middle son grinned, before shrugging. "I'd probably drop him with how much he wriggles everywhere." Takashi muttered, before glancing to his older sibling. "Maybe. I've been bored and Ryugi's mad at me, and I'm tired of my friends."

"Maybe." Mitsuo chuckled softly, before straightening up and offering his youngest son a smile. "Goodnight Ryugi, sleep well. I'll make sure to tell her." He promised, giving his son's back an affectionate pat and turning the lights out. Mitsuo felt he ought to do this more often. He's always been busy, ever since Hisoka was little. Perhaps he ought to spend more time with his children in general, even if they were almost adults. Mitsuo headed back to his office. There was work to finish before he could spend time with his youngest tomorrow morning.

"Oh man, Ryugi getting taller than you? I would love to see that, but I don't need you moving out because you'd be the shortest." He chuckled to himself as he leaned against the wall. "If you want to come work out with me and dad, I don't think he'd mind too much, give you some pointers and what not...who knows, maybe you might win against dad in a wrestling match...one day." Although that seemed pretty unlikely, even he couldn't win just yet, but he did put up a good fight. "Oh man, don't drop Ryugi, he may start whining and crying about it.... as for us, if dad doesn't have anything planned for us, then I'm sure you and I can do something together, cool?" He stood up and walked up to his brother. "Now try and get some sleep, I heard appropriate rest helps you grow."

Ryugi smiled sleepily at his father and relaxed some in his bed. Even though most teens his age would have found this semi-embarrassing, it was nice to spend time with his father. He yawned softly and closed his eyes before drifting off to sleep.
