"If that's what you want to do, I'll gladly help you try to learn any weapon you feel you want to learn," Dusk said calmly, not voicing his entire emotions. He wanted to tell Dai that he would protect him forever, so he didn't need to learn how to use a sword. But that would be too pushy, too doting, and probably not possible - the road Dusk traveled was dangerous, and he had an obligation to finish his tasks. No, he didn't really have an obligation so much as he wasn't sure what he would do to support Dai or himself if he were to leave his current job.
"Anyway, let's do some shopping and get some ingredients for dinner, shall we? I'm hungry, otherwise I would suggest doing more shopping than that, actually. I haven't had a decent meal in a while. Tomorrow, we'll try to get you some more suitable clothes and a decent bag, so you can pack up any tools or food for our journey."
