"Keep then. I'll try to wash it as best as possible." Chances are not great, but he'll try, otherwise she'll run around in dirty, stinking old t shirt. While he doesn't particularly love cleanliness, there are limits. It would seem she's not going to undress while there are new clothes, so he walks out and leaves the house. Unguarded. With a thief inside. Still, he knows her face, and can describe her, if she steal his shit and runs.

Jesper visits the neighbors and they're more than willing to part with some old girl clothes. A nice bunch, they've lived here in a sort of poly relationship for last couple years. He has always expected them to fuck anything they see, but they keep themselves to themselves and no one else is invited. Show he's too old, fortunately his prejudices are quick to die. With arms full of old clothes, he returns back to the house, half expecting it to be empty.

Zora actually takes the time that Jasper was gone to look in the mirror.... it had been so long since she really had the time to look at herself.... she was hardly the quiet sheltered beaten girl she used to be... now her eyes were sharper, less innocent, she had learned now... let people in and you'll only get hurt, people only want to use each other... she knew Jasper had to have some plan to use her. If it was just a supplier she could live with that... just something about this all seemed to good to be true.

She takes a bit of hair from her bangs between her thumb and index finger.... She used to be golden blond....guess this is what they mean by dirty blond....she can't help but wonder what would have happened if things had gone differently..... well no point dwelling on the past.

Upon returning, it seems his trust was well placed. Nothing is missing, the girl's still there. He's really happy to see that. This might even work out. Usually, people come because they know what they want, but hey, every way to get someone new is fine, as long as they can live here.

"Hey, clothes are here..." He says loudly as he comes closer, but before she can see him, not wanting to startle her by just appearing. "As I said old and clean. I hope they will fit. Oh, and...there's going to be some noise from the outside when it starts getting dark, people here like to party. You can join, if you want." There's a party place just behind the village, a dancefloor and a lot of sound equipment. Most people just ignore it or get earplugs.

"If not, there are earplugs you can use. Now, I'll leave you to it. Enjoy the bath. I'll be somewhere in the house." He walks out and closes the door, thinking how to get through to her. Mistrust from her side is almost palpable, but it doesn't offend him. Over the years, Jesper seen a lot of dark shit, and met people who encountered even more. Despite his plans for the girl, he'd still like to help her build some trust and overall have happier life, even if she's going to steal for him. Or possibly not. That, after all, is the point of this place. Live and let live.

Zora is drawn from her thoughts by Jasper announcing himself, and allowed her to see his approach. It probably would have startled her a bit had he just appeared, so she was a bit thankful for the advanced warning. She takes the clothes and places them on the counter, they seemed a little big, but she sure as hell wasn't about to be picky at all. "Thanks" She shrugs a little about the partying, she may check it out, out of curiosity after she recovered some... She wasn't up to it tonight though. She didn't care about the noise, if she liked the music cool, if not she'd just block it out.

She nods before he leaves. It was true that she didn't really trust Jasper much, but the fact that she did at all was actually a little bit of a surprise to herself. She was mainly struggling with the fact that this all seemed too good to be true... She tries to steal from a man and he takes her in?...She starts getting undressed... With how she saw the world it just didn't make sense to her, she couldn't shake the feeling that something had to be going on....She starts the water...though she wasn't blind or stupid, the amount of trust he was extending to her wasn't going unnoticed.... Seriously he had left a thief alone in his home, not to mention fed her, and not only unarmed himself, but was also willing to turn his back to her when she had her knife out.

"ahh~" She sighs a little as she gets into the warm water, it felt so good against her sore muscles. As she washes, she tries to come up with a plan... She needed to commit to a decision, and with Jasper leaving her alone right now and having clean clothes it might be the best time to make a break for it. She had to decide whether to stay or go, if he did have plans for her it would be harder to get away the longer she stayed, and if this was just too good to be true....it was just going to get harder to leave.

After she washes, she drains the dark water, and draws another bath, she wasn't going to pass up this opportunity to relax a little, it just felt like it would be a waste to her...."hhhh..." She sighs as she sinks into the water... it wasn't helping that in face of Jasper treating her, well like a person, as much as she tried to be Rose, as much as she thought she had buried her deep down....She couldn't help but start feeling a little like Zora again. It had just been so long since anyone had treated her as anything more than a thief..."fuck" she mutters weakly, she knew... it was already too late, even if it wasn't the most logical option...she wanted to stay. Well stay it was then, okay she need a plan then. She knew it would be best to indeed take some time to recover, but she had no intentions of being a parasite. She may believe the world was against her, but she wasn't so fat headed to believe she was the only on the world was against. She had her own rules she followed, and it just wouldn't feel right to her to just take what was offered to her and not give something back...though she of course had no qualms with taking what was dangled in front of her and told such things weren't for pieces of shit like her, those kind of things she stole... at least that was how she prefered to operate, she had just been desperate this time.

She gets out and starts toweling off. She didn't have many things she was against, she didn't care what people here did as far as 'laws' were concerned, she didn't use or drink, and though she did react strongly she didn't really care if others drank. Her only real code she had said several times...No hurt, No blood... She...never wanted to see blood again.

She gets dressed, a clean pair of jeans and a green t shirt... not really her best color, but whatever she wasn't picky. The jeans fit fine, but the shirt was a little on the big side, but again not picky. She kneels down to her backpack, taking her rose out and carefully places it back in her now golden blond hair. Not really knowing what to do with her old clothes she simply places them in her pack and puts her backpack on.

She looks in the mirror again..."wow" She did clean up nice, had her hair been longer she could have seen how she could have looked, had things not ....changed. She starts looking around the house, if she was going to be here she may as well get used to the place.

She pauses noticing an unlit fireplace, with a crumpled piece of paper in it... hmmm, She looks around and doesn't see anyone... it could be the key she was missing as to what was going on. She skillfully reaches in and recovers the piece of paper, uncrumpling it to read it.

While she takes her bath, Jesper, expecting things to take some time, goes to garage and takes a look at the car. The ignition doesn't work as it should lately, so he's going to try and fix it, while there's a bit of time. Which leaves Rose unguarded access to the fire place and the note which reads:

Turf war between Digger Street Rats and Gutrippers is going as expected and doesn't seem to be ending soon. Which leaves us time enough to move in and take what we need. Rats are planning an all out assault, leaving behind just a few guards. Will be eliminated non lethally, if possible. We move in today, ten minutes after the assault begins. No more than three guards should be present. The loot is going to be substantial. Signed, Colvero.

The fixing takes some more time, and when is done, Jesper sits in the car and starts it with a deafening roar. "Fuck!" He kills the engine immediatelly, covering his ears. Something went wrong. This is not the sound he was expecting. He'd swear he didn't touch anything else, but these cars are tricky...he must have damaged something, while fixing something else. Best leave this to the experts, once they get back from today's raid.

Still massaging his ears, he walks out of the garage, swearing under his breath. Ended up just like last time he tried to fix the car. He's good with electronics. He suck horribly with anything related to cars, including driving.

Zora scrutinizes the note, She knew of these gangs, though she had always stayed out of their territory. The fact that the gangs warred with each other meant blood to her and that was enough to keep her away. Jasper seemed to have someone on the inside though to gather this kind of info. She notes the fact that they would try to not kill them, she liked that idea, but did understand that wanting no one to ever hurt anyone was just ideal bullshit, it was a nice thought but wasn't realistic. Seeing as how the note survived today must be today.... well good luck Colvero.

She jumps at the loud roar, tossing the note back into the fireplace, upside down, but uncrumpled. Her hand goes back to her back pocket so fast she flinches a little from her own palm slapping the back of her jeans. ...NO ONE SAW THAT.... She calms down when the sound stops. She stands up and dusts herself off, before she sits in a chair to catch her breath.

She stretches rubbing her hands down her legs to her knees, She wondered if that was the sound of the raid starting or some other signal.

Shaking his head and swearing quietly, promising the car he'll dismantle it with a ton of semtex, knowing these are promises he'll never fulfill but mumbling them nonetheless, he walks back, just to find Rose in the room, apparently waiting for him. All cleaned up and in clothes that, while don't exactly fit, at least don't stink and spread diseases, she looks rather cute. Apart from the trauma that broke her this much. But, being one to notice things, since his life often depended on it, he also notices the note in the fireplace being moved and more importantly, not crumpled anymore. Jesper raises an eyebrow.

"All washed up, I see. Hope you enjoyed the bath." He says, smiling, but then continues. "Found out anything interesting, from reading private correspondence?" He is ever so slightly offended by this. Giving her an opportunity to have a bath, clean clothes and something to eat, she still finds it necessary to read something he decided to destroy. While this is no crucial information, he still doesn't really want her to know it, or even think she has a right to know. While it was stupid of him not to burn the message right away, she still doesn't have any right to read it.

"I know you don't like to talk, but I'd like to know by what right you read that message." The thought that she could have extracted the note out of the fireplace, uncrumpled it and then not read it never crosses his mind. That kind of trustfulness could maybe find their home among some especially dumb neanderthals.

Zora looks up at Gasper when he enters, not picking up in anything being wrong. While she wasn't blind, she wasn't nearly as honed as he was.

She nods that she was washed up, and again that she did enjoy the bath. Only to have her eyes go wide at the next question, shit the note. "Ahhhh.."

She swallows, this was not good. Well trying to tell him she only moved the note without reading it would just be insulting him. Well She had nothing to hide anyways. "Needed ..." She started to speak bluntly, but changes her mind shaking her head, and talks to him. "Your offer was too good to be true. I needed information, so I looked for it. I saw the note and read it, and learned from it. I'm not a spy, I work alone, I always had. That's the truth."

So she can speak, even more than a few words at a time. This is no speech impediment, as he was half expecting it to be, despite earlier evidence. So he listens to her explanation, and when she finishes, he thinks for a while, but there's no way around it. He moves away from the door, giving her enough space to run away, if she decides.

"Hmm...I see. I hoped we wouldn't get to this part early, or, preferably, at all, but you leave me no choice. Drop you pants and come here, you're gonna get a spanking. I don't mind you trying to steal, but reading private things that are supposed to be destroyed is something completely different." Jesper doesn't make a move toward her, not wanting to scare her away. People always, or at least, most of times, have choice in the matters here, and he doesn't want to take away that choice from her. Or at least the illusion of choice, since he can't let her run away for a couple more hours, in case she decides to inform them. Tomorrow, it won't matter.

Zora's eyes widen, "A s-spanking?" She knew what one was, but she never had one before... She glances between the door and Jasper, the option was obvious, she could leave or take the spanking. She.... wanted to stay though, though this would be what she was worried about, it was why this seemed too good to be true.

She stands up, though she nether moves to leave or move towards Jasper. She had to think of some way out of this. She looks at him "But I'm sixteen, I'm too old for a spanking, and I've never had one before. Please is there no other way? I-I don't want to be spanked." There really wasn't much rebellion in her tone, it was just a plea. She simply was grasping at straws hoping to find a third option.
