"Dammit Nikki." Megan swore under her breath. The both of them had dealt with Nikki before and her behavior, they both felt sympathy and their future plans they decided to maybe take her in for a bit... or permanent something to get her off the streets, they had a hard time tracking down her birth clarification but finally did. It was a big step but today might be that day.

Dixie grabbed Nikki the back of her neck what made her let go of the man's leg. "Young lady, we already had a talk about biting people, didn't we?" She said firmly. "I want you to say sorry or I have no other choice then to put you over knee for a good spanking."

Nikki yipped at being picked up at the scuff then started to wiggle, upset right now, she made the unwise choice of snapping her teeth at Dixie.

Meanwhile, Megan rushed to get a first aid kit and while helping the man out, tried to talk him out of the desire to press charges on Nikki.

Once Mei-ling arrived to the hospital, she was looked over, the problem discovered. After stabilizing her they would need to do a surgery. A pretty cat nurse, gently woke the cub up, "Shh, your okay now, cub, here have some water." she kindly gave the panda bear some.

Megan came over and squatted next to Dixie and popped Nikki light on the nose, "Hey don't try to nip at her girl." she scolded the furious pup. "Want me to hold her paws so she does not try to scratch?" Not wanting to do so and step on Dixie's toes.

"It is okay little one, try to calm down, I am your nurse, you collapsed and had to be rushed here, but you're safe now." she soothed rubbing ears gently. "Now have some water please, and we don't know a Nikki."

"Please do." Dixie said as she raised her hand. "How many swats shall I give her? Normally I would give 12 but I think Nikki needs more then that, judging by the way she behaves. How is that man by the way? Is he gonna press charges?"

MeiLing was thirsty so she drank the water. "Nikki is my friend, she always takes care of me. Wasn't there a wolfgirl from the place I was kidnapped from?"

Nikki still fussed and growled. "Lemme! Goooooo!" she growled in anger, it was turned up to the max due to her worry. *Gotta find Mei-Ling!* she thought desperately.

"I see you were with your friend." the nurse noted that down, "And darling, who is your parents?" They had only found her birth certificate, ironically she was born in this very hospital but no sign of parents came up in the database matched the names on the birth papers. The nurse cat could not help but smile, "I promise we are nice people to help you."

The cat nurse blinked not ready for such a question, she never expected it and looked shocked then awkward not knowing how to explain it was so natural to have parents, "Um well, you know, two or one person that raises you from a baby cub to a big one?"

OOC: What if Mei-ling knew Nikki since she was three almost four that would make Nikki seven, we could say Mei ling does not remember the matrons taking care of her from lack of personal connection with them, it slipped her memory and she only remembers Nikki? Like this?

"Raise? You mean provide food and place to sleep? That would be Nikki." Mel-Ling said. "I must find her." And start getting out of the bed.
