"Kade, and Scarlet, McKnight. Alright, well stay there for a moment." Pulling his walkie from his belt, he called back to the station, and had a records clerk run the names of all the kids through the dispatcher. Even Akane's though he knew hers would come back okay. He didn't want the other teens to feel like she was getting any kind of special treatment. Especially because the boy looked like he might be kind of rough. A suspicion which was confirmed when his record came back. He nodded as the older sounding voice on the other side of the radio gave him all the details, then looked back to the kids.
"Well, good news. Scarlet McKnight, your record is clean. Squeaky in fact. Kade, you're not so much. But nothing too major. And it looks like all your debts to society have been paid. And Akane... well... they're running out of room in the filing cabinet to record you." He laughed a little. "So, it looks like no one's going to be in too much trouble today. I am going to issue you each a citation, fining you for the property you've damaged. You'll have 30 days to pay it, and if you don't, that's when you'll be in trouble."
