Though in that case I would ask people to convert their docs to PDF's. Not everyone owns Microsoft Office, and PDF's tend to age better anyway.

I did that for a class recently, just didn't make it spanking content, rather a traditional, fantasy RPG. Some friends of mine are working out game mechanics for spankings as buffs and debuffs, but that's about all we've got going XD
Also once made a text adventure in Python, but that's a bit...I didn't learn how to do things like making .exe's and such and we never learned threading, so you couldn't have multiple things going on at once...it also lacked a UI -_-;

Sooo.. what are we allowed to use in relation to premade stuff? for example; I'm going to use RpgMaker MV. Can we use plugins here? and how about premade tilesets (or other graphical assets). what about sound files?

Assets and plugins are fine, but the bulk of the coding needs to be done by the individual.

I think us the general public of the site ARE the judges. After all this is not really about WHO WINS ABC... Its about HEY YOU ALL WIN NEW GAMES! Look at what thy can make, support them! If they KNOW your willing to feed on their games like a spanking vampire, and they see THEY CAN MAKE good stuff... IT WILL GET MADE! After all, how much are YOU fronting to pay for a prize???? LOL
And if this was a REAL COMPETITION, sorry but it would all be pretty much Patreon so money from *Patrons* could support builds, and then the games would ONLY be available on that Asian site... DLsomething or nuther??? FOR $$$$$
Bad enough that some very good artists now push the PAY TO PLAY option to see full art, but still TEASE art on here. AOTK last I heard is NOT an AD SITE for PATREON. Anyway.....

They'll be just regular threads on here, so yeah, you will! As for the judging, I'm acting as primary judge, but there will also be a poll attached to this thread for audience choice.

I could use an excuse to try cranking out a Twine game, so hopefully I'll hop into this. If I'm understanding the OP correctly, the theme will be announced on 0000 GMT the morning of the 30th, will end at 2359 GMT the night of the 6th, and you just have to post a new thread with your game in this forum at any time before the deadline? There's no requirement to, like, RSVP/register your spot before the contest starts?

Interesting
It could be interesting. What is the topic on which to base the game? More judges would be better.
