I don't mean to take away from the current game jam.
However I wanted to give a heads up for a future game jam, I am hoping to organise June or July this year.
It will not follow a theme, but technical aspects of game development.
It will also be an opensource game jam with all participants expected to push their code gitlab (or similar github, etc)
There will be two categories (although it is posible for the same entry to qualify for both)
Category 1 XR
(VR/AR/MR etc) for any device (Quest, Hive, etc) using any framework (Godot, Unity, Unreal, etc)
Category 2 AI
Any use of AI in a spanking game. It may be locally computed AI, or use a free or paid AI server.
In general, censored AI is not as useful if it limits the capacity of the game. (Some uses of AI don't concern censorship, but if it does it should be uncensored if at all possible.)
Cooperation between contestants is encouraged, and there may be a third prize for the most helpful participant as voted by the other devs.
Join submissions are also encouraged.
Modifying other people's code (including other participlants) is both permitted and encouraged, but you must be completely open about the code you have modified. Not declaring your sources will disqualify your submission.
