Game jam 2025
After voting, it is time to organize game jam for 2025.
The rules for the game jam are as follows:
Game jam starts at 1st of March 2025 and ends on the 2nd of May 2025. This should give developers two months to work on their games.
The most voted theme (poll here) was Role reversal which was also the winner of previous game jam. The three other most voted themes were "DnD", "Isekai" and "School".
Role reversal was described as someone who is normally a spanker getting spanked or the other way around. There is also a concept of intermediary role, which was someone who is at the same time both a spankee and spanker.
Quote:
I like the idea of "the intermediary role" as a theme, but I feel it could be better described or otherwise included in the the theme, "Risk vs Reward" which I also think paints a good picture for the game jam as a whole.
I like the idea of a game where you play as a school bully beating up, spanking, giving wedgies to and otherwise tormenting your schoolmate, but still needing to evade being apprehended or else end up getting your butt thrashed as well. Difficulty could increase the more you bully with ascending foes being listed as Nerds<Normies<Jocks/Bullies<Prefects<Teachers/Staff<PTA Members<The Headmistress. Ideally this would have an RPGs system with different bullying methods having different effects, but for a game jam it could just be something easier to implement on a shorter time frame, like a puzzle system that increases in complexity.

In the spirit of role reversal theme, you can also choose one of the other three themes ("DnD", "Isekai" and "School") or mix all three and put at least one role reversal spanking scene into your game (eg a servant spanking a king, or nanny being spanked by a ward, or a teacher being spanked by a student).
DnD stands for "Dungeons and Dragons", famous table top setting and game.
Isekai stands for "being sent to or reincarnated to another world", which can be the world of a game, book, painting, fairy tale etc. Protagonist doesn't need to die to be sent there, a magic spell or technology also works. (Tron would be considered isekai, but so would protagonist dying and going to hell).
School is self explanatory.
The games can be in any engine but should be provided free of charge for the netizens of this forum and be playable.
Happy jamming!

Hello,
Sorry, no entry from me this year. I tried to cobble somehting together, but so far all I have is a disjointed mess of mechanics that in now way constitute a "playable" game.
If it's any comfort, it will likely result in a new game with this year's themes in a few month, if only because it would be a shame to give up on the stuff already completed. But not today...
So, good luck everyone, and sincere congratulations on the devs who produced somehting this year!

Right there with you. Waited too long to start. I should have something playable in a few weeks and plan to update it through the year
