Shawn looked at Gregory. "I'm..I just wanted to not spoil anything for Phoebe. Sandy seems to like her." Shawn patted Phoebe's shoulder. "Your father is just worrying too much. How about we have a barbecue this evening and invite the two over hm?" He smiled at Phoebe.

Sandy frowned. "Well I am sorry Papa but emotions do belong to our lives. You should listen a bit more to your heart maybe and you would understand too." She sighed. He was such a stubborn man. Well she could be just the same.

Phoebe looked at her father, in a better mood again at his idea. "Well...sure...if dad invites them", she decided and looked at Gregory meaningfully. She was still a bit unhappy that he pulled her away from Sandy so quickly.

"Don't get cheeky young lady, or you will regret it", Dr. Rush answered grumpily, not seeing where this conversation should get them after all. "Are you done here now?", he asked a moment later. He felt like leaving.

Gregory sighed. "Alright alright. I'll ask them later." Shawn smiled and winked. "See Greg? Phoebe knows what's best for you." Gregory sighed. "Let's go now. You found your books Phoebe?" He asked.

Sandy pouted. "I'm not cheeky. I only tell you the truth." Then she nodded. "Yes. I'm ready to go." She followed him to the cash desk.

"Yes, father, I did", Phoebe said dramatically and handed them to him. "Want to check?", she asked amused and walked over to the checkout.

Dr. Rush rose an eyebrow and took Sandy's books to pay for them once it was their turn. He noticed that Phoebe and her parents stood in front of them, but said nothing. It seemed to him that they were in a hurry, besides that he didn't like to talk to people too much.

Sandy looked curiously at what they got. She always liked to see and then either find something interesting or not. Greg sighed and paid. He smiled slightly at Dr. Rush. "Children. What can you do hm?" He tried to be funny of course.

Shawn got the books and got out with Phoebe. "Thanks Greg. See you. Bye." He laughed and left Gregory to pay.
Sandy chuckled.

Phoebe grinned as Sandy walked over to them and checked their books. "Anything interesting?", she wanted to know amused.

"Sandy, come back here immediately!", Dr. Rush scolded. It was impolite to do that after all!

Soon, they left and Phoebe waved at Sandy before she followed Shawn. "What do we do now daddy?", she asked curiously.

"Oh well I.." She then heard her father and blushed. Great. She gave Phoebe a sorry look and then trotted to her father back. "That was embarassing pa! You know that?"

As the trio was out Gregory looked at his watch. "You want to go and look at another shop?" Gregory asked. Shawn looked at Phoebe.

"Your behaviour is embarrassing young lady, and don't talk to me that way unless you want me to show you who is in charge in front of all these people", Dr. Rush told her in a bad mood. The fact that he met a up with the two men and Phoebe was reason enough for him to get moody again. He wasn't a fan of other people after all...

Phoebe noticed that her father checked the time and rolled her eyes. "Dad, really! We still have a lot of time...don't get all nervous. We will notice if they close the moment they shove us out, okay?", she said amused and looked around. "I would like new clothes", she decided happily. She needed something cool for her first day at the new school after all!

Sandy blushed. He wouldn't do it now would he? Well he did when she had been younger. "That's.."she sighed. "Well I just will have a look at the game shop alright?" And she simply walked off.

Shawn laughed. "Well I'll let you look at clothes. Have fun you two." Shawn knew that the two always argued about clothes, even as Phoebe had been little. Gregory sighed. "Alright. But nothing too expensive and not too revealing." He said and followed her into the shop

Dr. Rush followed her and took her by the shoulder. "Don't run away without waiting for my answer", he told her. "I will accompany you, who knows what you will buy otherwise", he decided.

Phoebe rolled her eyes and started picking clothes. She decided for a skirt, some t-shirts, some tops and some jeans and started trying them on. After a moment, she stepped out to show her father how she looked in it. "So? What do you think?"
