Odin and Frigga had told him that Thor would be his guardian, yes, but he had not asked for further information on the subject. He looked behind him and gulped as he saw his brother's hand rise again.

"I am not a spoiled brat!" he screeched indignantly. He tried to bite Thor's thigh, but the position was no good. "How dare you-Ow! Wait-Owww! Stop this-Aaa! I'll make you pay! Oww!!" Loki tried not to react to the childish punishment, but it was clear that the spanking was having the desired effect every time Thor's hand landed on the trickster's bottom with a loud smack.

Loki realised that there were guards outside the room, and they could surely hear the sounds. Did they realise what was happening?

Thor shook his head. “You may be grown. You may think you are grown but you don’t act like it.” He said and continued. “As your guardian you lost some of your privileges.” He said. “Don’t worry brother no one will enter without my permission.” He said and did bare his bottom.

“We only began and I think you will benefit from this.” He said and rose his hand again, to smack Loki’s bare bottom.

"But they will hear," Loki whined, but his words were interrupted as Thor pulled down both his pants and underwear in one swift movement. The young god turned a deeper shade of red. His brother was spanking him like a naughty toddler, and on the bare bottom.

"I will not benefit from this! You cannot treat me so shamefully!"

The young god let out his loudest "oww" yet as Thor's hand punished him. The smack on the bare bottom stung much more fiercely that the ones on his clothed behind.

Loki realised that his words had been a mistake as Thor's hand seemed to become even heavier to emphasize his point as he scolded him - though perhaps it was simply that the spanks fell one after the other on the same general area.

Loki screamed out loudly at each smack now. Every inch of his bared bottom was tender, and his brother clearly had no intention of stopping the spanking.

He looked behind him, saw Thor raise his hand and quickly looked away. "Nooo!" The thought of that powerful hand delivering a smack to his bottom was enough to make him dread, so his brother's warning naturally succeeded in producing a healthy fear of consequences.

Thor sighed and stopped for now. He let his brother feel the burn of his punishment. He rubbed his brother’s back a bit as he knew that Loki also needed some comfort. Many things had happened and he understood that it only drove Loki to think that he was not loved, which wasn’t true and Thor sure would show his brother that he was loved.

The burning spanks stopped. The room became more silent as Loki breathed raggedly and let out the occasional soft whimper. Tears kept falling. His bottom was smarting sharply, and there was no doubt now that the guards outside (and whoever happened to be passing by) heard Loki of Asgard being punished with a sound spanking.

He relaxed a little when he felt Thor's hand on his back. He felt mixed emotions, but the hand was soothing. Still, he wasn't completely at ease. His brother had not let him up yet. Was the spanking over? He doubted it, and he couldn't help thinking of Thor's words : how they had only began (but enough smacks had been administered after that. . . surely?), how he had acted like a spoiled brat and knew that it was wrong, how Thor cared about how Loki was, and how Thor would deliver fitting consequences if needed.

"Is it over?" he asked.

“Well it will depend on your answers. Will you at least for now accept that I will look after you? That you behave a bit better? At least towards mother. She had been crushed when we thought you were dead and so relieved to see you back alive.” He asked and explained. He could deal with his brother’s roughness but their mother not always.
