Samantha nodded and gently laid down across her mother's lap, this time knowing to not fear her mother's hand as she was in the healing process. She squeezed Cotton tight and sleepily.

"So it's a good thing we're staying another night, I think. We all need it" Tielle said, stroking Isabella's hair. "I should make something good for dinner. If you all want to take a nap, I can go shopping for some goodies."

Natalie squirted some lotion onto her hand and gently massaged it into Samantha's behind.

"I don't need a nappp," Isabella whined.

Samantha winced initially, but the soothing sensation of the lotion on her bottom soon overcame the pain and she felt comforted by her mother's gentle caress. "Thank you Mommy..." she said gently, breathing quietly as she lay over her mother's lap once again for a very different and far more pleasant reason.

"Well, you don't have to if you don't want to" Said Tielle, rubbing Isabella's back. "I just figured I'd offer it to Auntie Natalie and Cousin Samantha since they both look tired... and if you wanted to join them, you could. But I won't force you."

"I wanna come shopping with you," Isabella said.

Samantha didn't respond much, just shifting her head gently to maintain optimum comfort. She was exhausted, even after her first nap, so a second one sounded absolutely wonderful right about now.

"Okay honey, you can come shopping with me - just don't mimic what Samantha did, or else I'll sic Auntie Natalie on you" Tielle teased, tapping the little girl on the nose gently with her index finger.

Natalie finished rubbing the lotion in and then redressed Samantha. She gently brought the girl up and held her baby in her arms.

Isabella giggled. "I'm gonna behave, I pwomise."

Samantha wrapped her arms around her mother's neck, still clinging to Cotton in one hand and resting her head on Natalie's shoulder. She was absolutely drained from everything she'd just been through and just wanted to take a nap and snuggle with her plushie - or her mommy, if she joined her.

Tielle chuckled and rubbed her little girl's head. "Good. You wanna see if Ariana wants to come with us? We've not really hung out with her much since everyone's been here."
