Ariana held a hand up to her mouth as she produced a low giggle. She was reminded of her nephew whenever he was treated to some ice-cream from his mother's cafe. He would eat it with such eagerness that most of it went around his mouth, not in.

"Come here, you," Ariana remarked, pulling Samantha onto her lap. She fished around her bag and found some baby wipes - which she kept for washing her face each morning. Rather those than water from a lake.

She wiped Samantha's face clean and then threw the wipe away, a bin luckily right next to them.

"Let's get back then," Ariana smiled, standing up with Samantha in her arms.

Samantha plopped onto Ariana's lap an fidgeted a bit as her face was cleaned - not really cause she wanted to cause trouble, but the baby wipe just tickled when it brushed across her face.

The little girl gave the bigger teen a hug after Ariana stood up holding her, expressing her joy of the evening. This made most of the day's events worth it - well, almost worth it. She didn't plan on repeating it in the off chance she might get more friends and ice cream out of the deal!

Ariana carried the girl home in silence. She wasn't annoyed or anything, she was just observing everywhere around her, listening and looking out for any trouble.

She had Samantha show her the way again, because she was pretty quick at forgetting which way she had just came.

The two new friends arrived back the apartment in no time.

Ariana chuckled when she saw that Natalie was waiting out for them. The mother must have been extremely worried for her daughter.

Samantha waved excitedly as soon as her mother came into view, letting the single parent know everything was all right.

She squirmed out of Ariana's arms and ran over to Natalie and gave her a big hug around the tummy.

"Thank you thank you thank you Mommy! That was so much fun!"

Natalie put her arms around her daughter, embracing her daughter close to her. "You're welcome, baby girl," she remarked. "Now, don't you think you should thank Ariana for the ice-cream?"

"She already did," Ariana piped up, smiling.

Natalie bent down and gave Samantha a gentle kiss on the forehead. "Good girl. Now, back inside. We don't want to be out here for too long."

Samantha scampered back inside happily. The combination of excitement and sugar were clearly coursing through the small girl's veins. She ran into the apartment and plopped down on the couch, grabbing he plushie in a tight hug and all but bouncing in her seat - if her bottom were still tender, she clearly had either forgotten about it or just didn't care anymore.

Natalie and Ariana both followed the girl inside; Natalie shaking her head in amusement and Ariana's lips becoming tight as she smirked.

"I can tell someone's going to be hard to get into bed," Natalie commented, smiling, as she sat down by Samantha.

Sam flashed a big impish grin at her mother. She didn't really mean to be problematic when it came to going to bed, but when she was just so energetic like this she couldn't help it!

"I'll be fine, I promise!" she said unconvincingly. "Is there still time to play a game or watch a movie?" the little girl chirped, trying to extend her bed time by just a little bit so she could play with her friend more.

Sam smiled and said "That's fine, thank you Mommy!" She hopped off of the couch and fiddled around with her small game collection and plugged in Pokemon Stadium. She didn't play it very often since it wasn't nearly as much fun with just one person, but she couldn't resist trying a match against an actual Pokemon Trainer, and this was probably the best simulation she'd ever had concerning how actual battles went - even though she knew it was a game for kids.

"Would you play with me Ariana?" she said over her shoulder and flashing her greens at the Trainer in that 'I'm cute, please do what I want' way.
