"That's perfectly fine," Professor Oak said. "All we need to do is get your Pokemon Licence form filled out and then you'll be an official Pokemon Trainer."

Thirty minutes later and everything that had needed to be done was finished.

Samantha was overjoyed once she had received her fully filled out License Card. "Thank you so much Professor Oak!" she said, giving the older man a big hug around the waist. She also turned around and gave gracious thanks to both her mommy and Ariana. "Thank you for bringing me here! I'm so very happy!"

She held her Squirtle's Pokeball tight in her hand and looked at it lovingly. She hadn't come up with a good nickname for the little guy yet, but she knew she would in time. He was going to become her new best friend and companion... and she was going to do her best to become as great of a Trainer as Ariana was - or better!

"You're welcome, sweetheart," Natalie said, bending down to Samantha's height. "Now, why don't we go and meet Ariana's family? I don't know about you, but I sure could use some rest."

[CottonFluff]

"Okay!" the little girl chirped cheerily. "Lets go!"

She waved goodbye to Professor Oak and followed Ariana to her parents house, holding her own Mommy's hand and wearing her new Pokemon on her belt loop so as to not drop him along the way.

Ariana had to restrain herself from running to her house - she was so, so, so excited to see her parents again!

Natalie laughed at Ariana's eagerness. "Look, Samantha, she reminds me of someone. I wonder who...?"

Samantha grinned from ear to ear as her Mommy commented on Ariana's energy. She really did feel like Ariana was a bigger version of herself, and she hoped she could live up to her newfound friend's expectations as a fellow Trainer.

"She reminds me of you sometimes and she reminds me of me sometimes... I think that's why I like her so much" giggled Sam as they walked towards the door.

Ariana ran up her porch steps and knocked on her door. She could easily just enter through the door, but this way it was more of a surprise.

She knew her sister, along with her son and husband, were here and that would be amazing!

The door opened... and there was no one there. Ariana giggled and looked down, seeing her nephew. He was small for his age, had wild black, brown eyes and tanned skin.

"Auntie Awiana!" the boy yelled, launching himself at her.

"Hey, you," Ariana greeted, taking the young boy into her arms. She turned round. "I'd like to introduce you to my nephew, Ash."

Natalie waved at the boy, smiling friendly at him.

"Who these two?" Ash questioned, pointing at the new people.

Samantha smiled at Ariana's nephew and waved. "Hi there! I'm Samantha, and this is my mommy!" she said pointing at the parent behind her. "We're friends of your Auntie Ariana from Saffron City" she said cheerfully so as to come across as friendly to the tot.

Ariana was about to speak when a voice came from inside. "Ash, where are--" The voice cut out as the owner of it spotted Ariana. "Ariana? You're back?"

Ariana grinned and looked to Samantha and Natalie. "This is my big sister, Delia."

Samantha looked up at Delia and smiled. "Hello! I'm Samantha, and this is my mommy!" she said of the adult behind her. "We're friends of Ariana's from Saffron City! This is a really pretty house, by the way."

It wasn't much in the grand scheme of things, but compared to their little apartment it was gorgeous and massive.

"I just got my first Pokemon!" she said happily, tapping the Pokeball at her belt loop. "Professor Oak was really nice... are you friends with him?"

She was chattering away happily, enjoying making new acquaintances.
