Natalie chuckled, being reminded of herself slightly. "Remember to be nice and polite to them," Natalie remarked. "They didn't have to offer us to stay at their house, y'know."

Feraligatr made a bit of an undulation in it's throat that came across as some kind of strange, reptilian equivalent of a purr. She liked her trainer and the little kid too.

"I will, I promise... I just hope Isabella doesn't be mean to us again..." said Samantha, remembering the run in with the child earlier. "Do you think Tielle punished her too hard?" she asked her parent, not really knowing what one's brain had to go through to decide what punishments were appropriate or not, just that her Mommy was really good at it.

Isabella giggled. "You always know how to cheer me up."

"I don't think so, sweetie," Natalie remarked. "Besides, you did practically the same thing - and I think you probably got a harder punishment than Isabella."

"Fera! Feraligatr!" The Pokemon knew when she was being praised, and happily acknowledged the little girl's affection. A loud and low "boom, boom, boom" as her tail whapped the ground gently over and over in contentment, really behaving like an oversized house pet instead of a gargantuan muscular battle alligator that could swim up waterfalls and crack steel.

Samantha laughed at her mother. "Wow Mommy, remind me not to do anything worse around you!" she said, remembering the various bottom warmings the past couple days. If that was worse than what Isabella got for stealing her Squirtle, any extra naughtiness in front of her mother compared to her prior infraction would render her unable to sit for weeks!

"I'm glad my aunt isn't here, she probably wouldn't like that," Isabella said with another giggle. "But I think it's funny."

Natalie just ran her hand over Samantha's hair, smiling.

The trio found the house pretty quickly, Natalie remembering what Tielle had said.

Isabella's smile faded as soon as she saw the three. "E-E... erm... m-m.. my sister is inside," she said, suddenly shy. She lead them inside and then rushed to her sister, hiding behind her.

Feraligatr sat on up on it's hindquarters as she saw the others approaching, her sleepy eyes becoming alert and protective. Samantha looked up at the big Pokemon with wide eyes, but walked after Isabella with her mother and Ariana.

Tielle looked up as Isabella led the trio in the door, and smiled. "Oh, you found it, wonderful! Please, come in, have a seat! Can I get you a drink or something?" she said, trying her best to be a good hostess. "I hope you're okay with beef stroganoff... I wasn't sure what you guys would like, so I went with comfort food."

Her face was still a little tear stained from the events before, having focused so much on making dinner that she forgot to wipe her face with a washcloth. It was dry, but there were still a few obvious blemishes from where the salty water had slid down her cheeks.

Isabella gripped her sister's shirt tightly in her fists after the three walked into the kitchen. She didn't want to see if that girl or her mother or that trainer were throwing her any dirty looks, which they were sure to be. They really must have thought the worst of her.

"We're okay with anything. We're just really grateful to you for letting us stay here," Natalie said. She noticed how upset Tielle looked and made a mental note to get the girl alone later.

"Okay, it should be done in about ten more minutes" Tielle said with a smile. She looked down at Isabella and pet her hair with one hand. "This one is a bit shy around new people, believe it or not. She'll probably warm up in a little bit."

She stirred the sauce and noodles as it started to really give the room a lovely smell. The kitchen and the dining room were separated by a little counter island, so she could look over at her guests while being busy. "If you need some food for your Pokemon, I've got some in the pantry over there" she said pointing to a nearby door. "I've got a specific kind for my Feraligatr, Skarmory, and other regulars... but I usually make sure to carry some generic stuff in the off chance I run into a trainer with a type I don't have. You'd be surprised how many new kids out there don't know what they're doing - uh, no offense Samantha."

Samantha didn't seem to notice the statement, as she was busy trying to get a good look at little Isabella. She wasn't aware that it might have been making her uncomfortable, but the little girl's curiosity was getting the better of her.

"Thank you," Natalie said, grinning widely. "Do you need any help with anything?"

Isabella trembled, growing extremely uncomfortable with Samantha's staring. "W-Wh-... What do you want?" she asked in a small voice, her voice tearful.

"Um... I've got some drinks in the fridge, if you wanna get everyone set up with that. And the silverware is in that drawer" Tielle said, pointing at one of the nearby drawers. "Glasses are in the cupboard above that... thanks again, I'm usually not much for table setting since usually I can barely get little Miss Isabella to sit at the table for dinner when it's just us."

Samantha waved at the little girl. "Hi" she said, trying to be friendly. She didn't hate the little girl, even after what she had done earlier. But she didn't really know how to approach someone when they were that adamant to hide from her.
