Natalie began to get things for dinner, happy to help.

Isabella just hid her face in Tielle. Ariana chuckled, bent down to Isabella's height and extended her hand. Isabella curiously looked.

"Hi, Isabella. I'm Ariana. Nice to meet you." Isabella immediately put her hands over her ears, causing Ariana to laugh. "Don't worry, I'm not going to grab your ear again."

Isabella slowly put her hands down. "I'm... s-sorry for calling you that swear word earlier..."

"It's okay, I don't mind," Ariana smiled.

Tielle chuckled. "Yeah, Isabella has picked up a few of my bad habits... But her swearing was the reason I thought you were trying to kidnap her or hurt her, since I make absolutely sure she doesn't talk like that to adults on a regular basis unless she wants her bottom warmed."

Samantha giggled. "I think she likes you Ariana." She wasn't surprised, since Ariana was very friendly and very interesting to a little girl like her.

Isabella let go of her sister's shirt and went over to Samantha, but still staying close to her sister. She bowed slightly at the waist, hands folded in front of her, just like her mommy taught her.

"Er... erm... s-s-sorry for all those things I did," she said to Samantha, looking away, highly embarrassed. She'd already apologised but she felt she needed to again.

Samantha smiled. "I forgive you, Isabella." The ten year old returned the bow to the little girl politely. "You wanna play?" she said excitedly once the exchange was done, hoping to have made a new little friend.

"Dinner's about done, hun" said Tielle with a grin. "You two should probably wait on the playing until afterward. If it's not too late, we should go all out for ice cream - my treat. If your Mommy says it's okay, anyway."

Natalie nodded. "It's fine with me."

Isabella grinned at the idea of ice-cream. "Really?!" she asked her sister excitedly. "We really have ice-cream?!" She was nearly bouncing from the excitement.

Tielle rubbed her hand through Isabella's hair. "Of course! But you have to finish your dinner first, okay?" The older sister still had to lay down the rules, but she was feeling much more generous since their little cuddle fest.

"Speaking of dinner, food's ready!" she said happily. She turned off the stove and grabbed some plates from the cupboard and started to dish out portions - bigger one's for the adults, and about half sized portions for the children. "Samantha, I don't know what your appetite is like, so if you want more once you're done, let me know."

Samantha nodded and scampered over to the sink, washing her hands and then going to sit at the table. "Isabella, will you let Ms. Natalie help you wash up?" she asked her little sister as she took plates of steaming noodles and sauce to the table.

Isabella nodded. Natalie smiled and helped the little girl wash up, being delicate as she noticed the child was still a tiny bit shy.

"Thank you," Isabella said quietly.

"You're quite welcome, sweetie," Natalie remarked, smiling motherly at the girl.

Isabella then went up to her sister and tugged on her shirt. "C-Can... I sit on a cushion please?" she asked.

Tielle smiled. "Oh, I totally forgot! Yes honey, you may. Go and get one from the couch or a pillow from your bed, whatever is more comfy for you."

She finished setting food on the table and sat down, waiting for Isabella to return before starting. "So, while we're waiting for the little one to return... what brings you to Viridian City? I know I'm not a local myself, but I've been in town long enough to know you're not from around here."

Isabella picked a cushion from the couch, since they were particularly comfortable.

"We're on a Pokemon journey," Natalie replied. "We're just passing through really."

Isabella came back, put the cushion onto her chair and winced when she climbed onto it.

"Samantha's, I assume. I don't usually see a trio like yours otherwise... and seeing that you look like you're a pretty experienced trainer," she said looking over at Ariana, "I'm guessing you're mentoring her and Natalie is coming along to help take care of the child."

When Isabella came back, Tielle paused her thought process and rubbed the little girl's hair. "You wanna say grace, honey?" She wasn't really a religious person and she didn't want to impose upon the others in case they felt awkward about it... but ever since their Mom died, she tried to keep Isabella in these little habits since it helped keep some semblance of stability in her life. Plus, the little girl could use with whatever extra help coping with their loss still, spiritual or otherwise.
