Isabella nodded and clasped her hands together. "Thank you for the food, Mommy." She didn't believe in God at all and so, she always said a prayer to her mother and not God.

Ariana and Natalie shared a glance, working out what that meant.

"Thank you sweetie" Tielle smiled, and dug into her food.

Samantha didn't really follow what was going on so she quietly started eating and thought to ask her Mommy about it later. "This is really good Tielle, thank you!" she said, trying to be polite.

"You're welcome honey" the older girl said back. She then returned to the adults at the table and tried to re-organize the conversation back to the awkward questioning beforehand. "So you're going to be heading off to Pewter City next, I assume? I figure Samantha hasn't done a Gym challenge yet."

The girl was about three steps ahead of herself, awkwardly trying to be a good host and parent.

Natalie shook her head. "No, Samantha's only been a trainer for about a day now. Sure, she's bonded with her Pokemon but they've not done any training yet."

Isabella kicked her legs gently as she ate her food quietly.

Tielle sat back and thought for a moment. "Well... if it's all right, I'd like to come with you - Isabella would come along too, of course. We've been here for about a month, and I think we need a change of scenery. My aunt should be back in a couple days, and I have some friend's here that can make sure the place is locked up and looked after until she's back. I'll just leave a note, she wont mind."

The lack of training her Pokemon was really starting to drive her batty, and this was her chance to get out and about again. Plus she felt that the change would help poor Isabella with her attitude, as she was pretty sure the stagnation was starting to make the child more ornery.

"It's your call though, I don't want to impose too much... you just happened to come around at a time when I was trying to figure out how to get back on the road anyway" she finished, munching on her dinner.

Ariana nodded at Natalie.

"We'd love for you to come along," Natalie replied. She was worried that Tielle wasn't coping well with dealing with her little sister.

"We're leaving?" Isabella asked, pushing her food around her plate.

Tielle looked back over at Isabella "If that's okay with you sweetie."

She then turned to re-address the others. "Our father is working for some big corporation over in Unova, and he deposits a check to a family account every month to help with things... I usually don't like spending it much, but it does mean we can have nicer accommodations when we're in a city than usual. I've done my fair share of sleeping in a Pokemon Center, and while it's not terrible... I don't think little miss Isabella here would do well in that situation for weeks on end."

It was kind of a strange offer she was making, and she didn't want to seem like she was being some rich snob flaunting her money around... but she also wanted to make sure her new friends were comfortable and that her sister was taken care of.

"When are we leaving?" Isabella asked. "Tomorrow?"

Tielle smiled. "I figured it was the least I could do for spraying Ariana here. Sorry about that, by the way" she giggled at the other Trainer.

Her little sister piped up and she turned to address the question. "I would like to, but if you wanted or needed to stay another night or two I'm sure we could."

"It's nothing," Ariana said. "You were just protecting your little sister. I would have done the same."

Isabella shook her head. "Nu-uh! I hate it here!"

"All right then! It's settled. I'll get everything sorted on the phone tonight and tomorrow morning before we leave. I'll need to pick up some Repel for Isabella since we're going to pass through Viridian Forest; I'm sure she'd rather not get stung by a Beedrill."

Tielle finished her meal and got up, taking any other cleaned plates over to the sink. "Isabella, please give me three more bites of that" she said sweetly. "You can have ice cream after that, okay? And you're welcome to have some as well Samantha."

Samantha smiled, having finished her plate like a good girl - all of that running around left her hungry, and so she scarfed up dinner without much of a problem. She still had a little sauce on her face that she hadn't noticed, but she was feeling like a pretty big girl right now.
