Isabella began to cough from how much she was crying. Natalie stood up and grabbed Tielle's hand to stop it moving.

"That's enough now," Natalie remarked with a motherly smile. "I think she's learnt her lesson."

The exhausted Tielle nodded as Natalie stopped the incoming blows to Isabellas behind. The young, inexperienced parent pulled the child up off of her lap, and gave her a great big hug.

"Shhhh... there there love... we're all done now. You were so very very brave. I love you so much my precious baby girl..."

She showered the child with praise and affection, kissing her tear stained cheeks and stroking her hair. It was over, thank heaven... she never wanted to have to do that again, but she knew it would probably be necessary some day. She thanked her mother for having such good friends to help her raise her sister, knowing that she probably would have broken by now had they not shown up when they did.

Isabella was crying hysterically, trying to push away from her sister. Her brain was telling her she didn't want any comfort but her heart was telling her that's all she wanted.

Tielle struggled to keep the child close, knowing she didn't really mean to struggle... if she were in the little girl's shoes, she'd probably be doing the same. "There there baby... it's okay... sissy's here; she knows how much it hurts... Shhh... there's my little girl... I love you so much..."

She didn't know what else to do besides be patient and comfort Isabella until her hysterics died down.

Isabella finally gave in and just snuggled up to her sister. She sobbed into Tielle's chest, her hysterics fading with each passing second.

Natalie rubbed the child's back soothingly and shot a look of approval to Tielle. "You handled that really well, Tielle."

Tielle just quietly rocked with Isabella in her arms, doing her best to calm the child and let her know she was loved.

"Thanks... I don't know what I would have done without your support, Natalie..." said an exhausted but very much so relieved Tielle.

Samantha perked up a little bit once she heard the smacks stop and a very familiar style of crying. "I think they're done" she said to Ariana, wiping her face with her sleeve. "Should we go check on them?"

"You're welcome, Tielle. If you ever need my help, I'm here for you." Natalie wiped Tielle's tears away.

"I'm not sure if we should, Samantha," Ariana responded. "Isabella could get very easily embarrassed and she seems to be a very vulnerable girl to me. I don't want to mess with her emotions."

Eventually Isabella's crying came to a halt and she just sat silently in her sister's arms, her mind going through everything that had happened in the day so far.

"Hey there... who's my brave little girl?" cooed Tielle as Isabella came to settle down. She showered the child with kisses like she always did, and stroked her hair. "Do you think you could be a good girl and stand in the corner for me for a little bit, babydoll? You were so very well behaved earlier today when you did it for me."

The older girl nuzzled the child and looked up at Natalie. "I don't know if you do corner time after spankings with Samantha... it's something our mother always did with us, but I'm never really sure if I'm handling it right" she said, continuing to pet the child's hair and comfort her. "The obvious rule is no rubbing, and usually no talking. I have to especially give her instructions not to chew on her nails too, but that's cause it's her one bad habit she does when she comforts herself... do you have any suggestions on how long it should be or anything else?"

Tielle felt kind of bad for asking so much of Natalie, but she really wanted to make sure she was doing things right from now on.

Isabella stayed silent. She didn't give any indication of acknowledging Tielle at all.

"I haven't sent Samantha to the corner since she was six..." Natalie replied, thinking about it. "But all those rules sound good to me. I think five minutes will be fine."

Tielle nodded and stood up, gripping the little girl's hand. "Okay sweetie, let's go to the kitchen. I'll set the timer for you. And you know the rules - no rubbing, talking, or biting. I'll put you down for a nap afterward if you like... I think we're both in need of some rest before we do anything else exciting today."

The girl was exhausted, and no doubt the younger child was also physically, mentally, and emotionally drained from all that had happened. Thankfully the child's dress would cover her backside so she would feel less awkward about it... another day she might insist she keep the dress up so that her bottom was on display, but for now she was just going to let the girl stand there and contemplate her punishment without any extra humiliation.
