"Okay, and what's the address?" Tielle took the phone and quickly gave the address and payment information before handing it back to Isabella. "Okay, it should be there in about 30 minutes. Thank you!"

Samantha nodded and stood up, grabbing her hand. "Yes please..."

"T-Thank you," Isabella said before hanging up the phone. "Did I do good, Tielle?"

Natalie stood up also, smiling warmly at her child. "Tielle, me and Samantha are going for a walk!" she called.

Tielle gave the girl a tight hug. "You did fantastically baby! I'm so proud of you!"

She looked at Natalie and Samantha and nodded. "Okay, come back in about 30 minutes or the pizza will get cold."

Samantha nodded and walked out the door with her mother, holding her hand tight. "Do you wanna go up to check out the Gym or to the Poke Mart or something?" she asked gently.

Isabella giggled when she was hugged. Then she bit her lip. "T-Tielle? Why don't we ever phone Daddy?"

"We could just take a nice, relaxing walk," Natalie suggested.

Tielle frowned a bit. "D-do you want to? I... don't think he's really all that talkative anymore... he's really busy these days. I guess we could try. But I can't promise you anything, okay?"

Samantha nodded and clung to her mother's hand, and just started walking with her. "Okay. Let's... just see what happens I guess. I have Squirtle with me if there's a problem."

"I'm fairly sure Viridian is safe," Natalie assured her.

"Well... I guess we could try... but it'll have to be later tonight. I think there's a bit of a time difference from here to there" thought Tielle, trying to remember.

Samantha, visibly frustrated, released he mother's hand and looked at her with a bit of a stomp. "That's not the point! I want to be strong and take care of you!" She frowned and pouted. "It's not fair! Dad and Grandma and Grandpa all left us and you've been the only one taking care of me! I want to prove to you that I can and make it up to you - or even just take care of myself for once!"

She was visibly grumpy, probably made upset by the tree incident falling apart the way it did. "I'm a Pokemon Trainer now! I can't keep being a scaredy-Meowth just because you might be there to save me! What happens when you're not there? What happens when I'm on my own? What happens when... when you... d-d-d..."

Her eyes started watering as she tried to say 'die'. Whether she realized it or not, Tielle and Isabella's struggle was starting to get to her, making her already guilty conscience feel more so.

"What if... what if he doesn't pick up?" Isabella questioned.

Natalie was very surprised at her daughter's outburst, to say the least. She let the child have her outburst before kneeling down and grabbing Samantha's shoulders. "Oh, my baby girl. Don't you see? I want to take care of you. There will never come a time when I'm not there. Even when my time on Earth is over, I'll still be looking after you."

"Then we can try again another time" said Tielle honestly.

Samantha shivered in front of her mother. "I want to take care of you too... I want to look after you too... I just don't know how to do that right now. I can't even climb down a stupid tree without help. I can't even convince a little girl to behave for her sister!"

She rubbed her eyes and tried to wipe away her tears.
